Alice and Emily agreed to a wager with Celia over a date with Isaac, while Isaac sensed trouble and decided to recruit Seraphina for his Great Dungeon competition team. Meanwhile, Catherine attempted to warn Isaac about potential retaliation but was playfully outmaneuvered by him, leaving Isaac to then decide to open his Legendary Gift Box.

Isaac grinned, and spoke,

'System, open the Legendary Gift Box!'

The box within his mind shimmered, its surface fracturing like light fragments dissolving into the void.

In its place, a single golden ticket materialized, hovering serenely as if it belonged there.

A notification promptly appeared.

You have received: Fusion Ticket (Legendary) x1.

Isaac's grin widened further.

He instantly brought up the item's description.

Fusion Ticket

Grade: Legendary

Description: Can fuse any two artifacts. The success rate depends upon the compatibility between the two artifacts.

'Compatibility…' Isaac murmured.

It was logical. The closer the nature, purpose, or essence of two artifacts, the greater the likelihood of a successful fusion. A random combination would likely fail.

He chuckled softly.

'This is perfect.'

He knew precisely where to utilize it. Even better, being a ticket, it could be shared with his wives.

The vehicle decelerated to a halt. Isaac and Sera alighted, proceeding to the room where everyone was assembled.

'Hey guys, this is Sera. She is…' he initiated the greeting, surveying the room.

A strange feeling permeated the air.

It only took him a moment to grasp it. The atmosphere was… tense. Not overtly hostile, but certainly peculiar. Their gazes were not directed at him.

Instead, they were fixed on Sera.

Isaac exhaled quietly before stepping forward.

'I suppose you've all seen her on the livestreams. This is Sera, an Apex-rank Human Overlord. She'll be joining our group,' he stated, his tone deliberately casual.

'Are you insane?' Averon retorted sharply. 'Did you just pick someone up off the street? Haven't you considered how incredibly odd it is for an Apex-rank Human Overlord to simply be wandering the City and seeking to join us?'

He continued his tirade.

'What were you thinking, recruiting her so publicly? Do you even grasp the repercussions that will cause? The other Lords are already observing your every move.'

Isaac met his gaze unflinchingly and replied, 'It's fine. With me, Avery, Eleanor, and Catherine present, her chances of betraying us are virtually nil.'

Averon scowled. 'But—'

'Besides,' Isaac interjected smoothly, 'the other Lords were already plotting against us. Whether they make their move now or later changes nothing.'

This seemed to momentarily pause Averon, though his expression remained displeased.

Before he could resume, another voice interjected.

'Are you just going to keep recruiting any attractive woman you encounter?'

Alice.

Isaac's lips twitched.

He prepared to speak, but Sera stepped forward preemptively.

'Greetings, Saintess Alice. I understand your potential concerns, but please rest assured. My heart already belongs to another. You need not worry about me,' she declared, her voice respectful.

Celia chimed in, 'But he's destined to become the God of NTR. So having someone isn't—'

Before she could finish, Isaac swiftly pulled her into the Mirror World.

The transition was immediate. One moment she was present, the next she had vanished.

A heavy silence ensued.

Averon wore a bewildered expression.

'What God?' Sera inquired slowly, her eyes narrowing as she turned towards Isaac.

'She's joking,' he dismissed, waving a hand, inwardly dreading her potential reaction if she discovered his most probable future God Domain.

'Oh,' Sera breathed, a visible wave of relief washing over her.

'Alright everyone, let's head to the Great Dungeon's entrance. It's time to commence the competition. Emily, stay with me for a moment,' he announced, deliberately redirecting the conversation.

Alice snorted softly before turning away. Sera followed her lead, accompanied by Averon, Arlene, and Eleanor. No one voiced further objections, though apprehensive glances were still cast towards Sera.

As for Celia… she would remain confined to the Mirror World for a short duration.

It was a brief period of detention.

Once the room was empty, only Isaac and Emily remained.

Emily drifted closer, tilting her head slightly. 'What happened?'

Isaac paused before responding, instead posing a question. 'How furious was Alice upon witnessing the livestream?'

Emily blinked, then gently shook her head. 'She wasn't exceedingly angry.'

This caused Isaac to raise an eyebrow.

'I believe it's due to the events involving Selene. Alice has become… more accepting now. Regarding you approaching other women.'

'…It's not like that this time. She's Seraphina. The angel I mentioned to all of you previously. She had joined Mother's organization, and now that she's returned, she's inexplicably keeping tabs on me,' he explained.

Emily's expression underwent a subtle shift.

Isaac continued, 'I surmised it would be advantageous to keep her close. This way, I can acquire intelligence regarding Mother. Concurrently, we gain access to her formidable strength.'

Emily's eyes widened slightly.

This revelation was unexpected.

The woman who had just joined them, appearing so suddenly, was actually tied to something so profound.

Isaac braced himself for a barrage of questions from her. Instead, Emily moved closer to him.

She reached out, her fingers gently closing around his hand.

"I understand you're not comfortable with anything that reminds you of Mother. If dealing with Sera becomes too much, you don't have to push yourself. I can watch her for you," she offered in a soft tone.

Isaac regarded her for a moment before a gentle chuckle escaped him. He then patted her head.

"Thank you, but I must handle this myself. Eventually, I'll have to confront Mother. It's better to start preparing now," he stated.

Emily's gaze remained fixed on him, her expression suggesting she had more to say. Ultimately, however, she simply nodded in acceptance.

"In any case, that's not the reason I asked you to stay," Isaac clarified.

"Then why?" Emily inquired, her eyelids fluttering slightly.

"This," Isaac replied, a faint smile gracing his lips.

He was already holding her hand. The instant his words concluded, he transferred the item.

The Fusion Ticket materialized within her system.

Emily's eyes flickered slightly upward, her attention now focused on reading its description.

"Use that to fuse your Phantom Core Extractor and your Celestial Spirit Pact Token," Isaac instructed.

"Thank you," she said.

"No need to mention it," he responded.

Concurrently, Isaac directed his focus inward once more.

'System, share the Fusion Ticket!'

An immediate notification surfaced.

Fusion Ticket (Legendary) gained x1.

A subtle smile touched Isaac's lips.

As anticipated, the sharing function operated flawlessly.

Meanwhile, Emily wasted no time.

She proceeded to activate the ticket.
