Fairy Tail: Igneel's eldest son in Anime Multiverse Chapter 501: A Perfect Fit

Following their fierce battle, Charles and Raizen drew much closer together.
Strangely, although Charles pulled out potions to save Raizen's life, the connection they built paled in comparison to swapping powerful blows. That's simply how demons are.
In the days that followed, Charles transformed his available raw materials into potions and handed them over to Raizen.
Should Raizen stick to just the essentials for survival, enduring another thousand years would pose no issue. Should the one he awaited fail to reincarnate even after a thousand years, no one could change that.
During that time, Charles encountered Raizen's other training partners as well.
One can easily picture the caliber of folks who spar with Raizen; even their casual greetings were too much for average demons to handle.
Upon learning that Charles and Raizen had battled to a stalemate, they inevitably issued challenges to Charles.
Despite the notable difference in strength compared to Raizen, Charles didn't dismiss them and engaged in several intense bouts.
Thus, Charles fulfilled his last objective in this realm. The moment had come to move on to the next.
Bidding farewell to Raizen, Charles invoked World Magic and transported Stella to another world.
…
Whoosh, whoosh!
Waves relentlessly crashed onto the sandy golden shore. The sun hung halfway beneath the horizon, painting the sky in fiery red hues.
"Achoo!"
A massive sneeze burst from Charles as he rubbed his nose. Despite the stunning beach scenery, an irritating odor lingered in the atmosphere for some odd reason.
His heightened sense of smell proved a curse in this place; Charles distinctly detected the stink of industrial pollutants drifting through the air.
Uncertain of this world's identity, his initial enthusiasm already began to drop sharply.
"Are you okay, Charles?" Stella inquired with concern.
"I'm fine," Charles brushed it aside. "I just need to get used to it. Let's find where people are."
In his mind, Charles pondered what sort of bizarre world featured such conditions and wished this journey wouldn't turn out pointless.
Given the polluted air, he figured it must be a modern-era society, yet oddly, after trekking far, no fitting buildings appeared.
As they crossed a narrow stream, Charles frowned involuntarily.
The water emitted the identical sharp reek, its top layer slick with oily, rainbow-like film. One look allowed Charles to recall numerous elements from the periodic table.
The riverside dirt bore unnatural colors too, with absolutely no vegetation—not even a single sprout—thriving there.
Silent, Charles and Stella pressed onward.
Finally, structures built by humans came into view, but far from sleek modern ones—instead, a cluster of dilapidated huts topped with straw roofs formed the settlement.
Locals outdoors donned kimonos of an island-country style, yet on these skinny, yellowish-skinned folks, the clothes hung in ragged patches, screaming their destitution.
This sight made Charles certain he'd pinpointed the world.
True to form, upon stepping into the village, a striking silhouette caught his eye.
A young girl bearing pale violet locks, her kimono equally threadbare like the rest, hawked her wares on the spot.
Beside her rested a basket filled with bamboo sedge hats, her voice calling out without pause.
Normally, a kid so young wouldn't peddle like this without harsh necessity.
Her plight screamed obvious, but her expression beamed with hopeful cheer.
That very positivity yanked at the heartstrings even more fiercely.
Stella noticed the child too and instinctively approached.
As the visitor neared, the girl's grin widened. "Big sis, would you like to buy a hat?"
Stella realized a content family wouldn't send the girl to sell hats, avoiding any naive query about her parents.
Right now, the ideal move was backing her trade, providing extra earnings to ease her hardships.
She picked up a hat, then flushed in embarrassment upon noticing her lack of local money.
Suddenly, uproar erupted from the street's far side. Panic gripped the villagers, who hastened indoors.
The girl swiftly gathered her stall yet paused to caution Charles and Stella.
"Big sis, hide, quick—the samurai are coming!"
Yet even after hoisting her heavy basket, Charles and Stella remained still.
In a panic, without hesitation, the girl seized Stella's hand and dashed off.
Utterly bewildered, Stella allowed herself to be tugged. Charles hastened after them. Much remained unclear; laying low seemed wisest.
Tailing the girl beyond the village, she halted at last, panting heavily like she'd dodged catastrophe.
"You're not from the Hat Village, are you, big brother and big sister?" she gasped, cheeks rosy. "If the samurai found you, it would be terrible!"
"Then thank you for saving us," Stella replied smilingly. "I'm Stella, and this is Charles. What's your name, little sister?"
"You can call me Otama," the girl beamed.
Her signature phrase—"de yansu"—rang in Charles's ears, sealing her identity.
They had entered the legendary One Piece universe, landing specifically in the Grand Line's second half gem—the New World's Wano Country.
The child was none other than the future Otama, destined to sway the Yonko-altering war. Evidently, the fresh Emperor era hadn't dawned. Wano endured under the Strongest Creature's iron grip.
While Charles reviewed the pertinent details, Otama's belly rumbled audibly.
Approaching, Charles knelt and tousled her hair. "So your name is Otama. For rescuing us, allow me to buy you dinner."
"Really?" Otama's eyes sparkled.
"It's just one meal," Charles affirmed with a nod. "No big deal. Plus, I've got plenty of questions for you."
…
Dusk blanketed the world when Charles and Stella arrived, and their escapades stretched into full night.
Gathered by a blazing campfire, the trio resembled a cozy family out camping.
Otama nibbled bread daintily like a chipmunk, gaze locked on the sizzling chicken skewer. Stella tenderly cleaned cream from the girl's face.
Chatting with Otama revealed the timeline to Charles.
Though Wano sealed off news, Otama's significance meant her scraps of knowledge unveiled much. One detail stood out.
A year prior, Ace arrived in Wano, vowing to Otama that upon her blossoming into a seductive kunoichi, he'd sail her away.
This signaled the tale's infancy. Luffy likely had embarked—who could guess his bounty now.
Charles's true musing centered on challenging Kaido.
Kaido reigned as elite fighter here, letting Charles benchmark his prowess via clash.
Master of Devil Fruit abilities and Haki alike, Kaido towered supreme—a prime foe to master both.
Moreover, Kaido's Fish-Fish Fruit, Mythical Zoan—Azure Dragon model suited a Dragon Slayer like Charles perfectly.
