Leo Ray and his group prepare for a gratitude banquet hosted by the Shadow Market, where they will encounter representatives from powerful first-class forces. After returning to their secret chamber, Leo Ray discusses the Ancient Elf Ruins expedition, which yielded new allies Anna and Jing Hong, and the nature of Stone Spirits with Anna. Anna is shocked by revelations of a past catastrophe and the departure of deities, questioning Leo Ray about the true nature of his arrival and the path to uncovering the truth.

The afternoon sun now cast its rays, marking half a day since Leo Ray and his retinue had entered, their prolonged silence naturally sparking concern among those waiting.

"Do not be alarmed. While we encountered minor impediments, they are utterly insignificant when weighed against the discoveries we have made," Leo Ray stated with a faint smile. He then proceeded to recount their recent experiences to the formidable guards at the entrance, introducing both Anna and Jing Hong to the assembly.

"Truly worthy of a Lord!"

Taylor and the others were filled with excitement as they observed Anna, emanating a commanding presence, and Jing Hong, the little elf, nestled on Leo Ray's shoulder.

"Your Majesty, before we depart, might I be permitted to revisit this place one last time?" Anna inquired, a touch of wistfulness coloring her fair features after bidding farewell to Taylor and the guards.

"Naturally. I shall establish a teleportation array here, ensuring you can return whenever the desire strikes," Leo Ray assured her without hesitation.

"My deepest gratitude, Your Majesty!"

Anna offered a solemn nod, her face alight with thankfulness.

After spending some time escorting Anna, the group found themselves back at the Underground Temple, the very location where the Tears of the Elves had initially been discovered.

From Anna's explanation, Leo Ray understood that the Dark Elf Goddess Statue was, in fact, the deity revered by the Gray Elves. Its presence here was therefore not unexpected.

"Your Majesty, there is more than a single Tear of the Elves to be found here."

Having gleaned information about Leo Ray's prior explorations, Anna moved towards the back of the Goddess Statue. With a delicate incantation, a cleverly concealed secret passageway slowly revealed itself to their astonished eyes.

"I had no idea such a mechanism existed here," exclaimed Taylor and the others, who had accompanied Leo Ray in exploring the temple, their voices filled with wonder.

"Your Majesty, this serves as the central repository and equipment storage for our underground city," Anna explained as she led them through the hidden entrance. "The armaments displayed externally were merely a facade. By providing such a meager defense, we significantly mitigate the threat from spies of the Light or Dark Elves, as we exist in the liminal space between two colossal powers."

"So that explains why the equipment I found previously was so scant, and some of it was even corroded beyond repair," Leo Ray recalled, nodding thoughtfully as memories of his earlier exploration surfaced.

Following Anna's lead, they passed through the newly opened portal and entered the area designated for storing mineral resources.

The chamber contained a substantial quantity of high-grade resources, rarely seen in the outside world. Leo Ray's contingent discovered an impressive cache of Magic Energy Purple Crystals.

These crystals, as their name suggests, perform a function analogous to Demon Energy Luminous Crystals but possess the capacity to store mana magnitudes greater, highlighting their immense value.

"To think these are Magic Energy Purple Crystals, a paramount resource exclusively extracted by elite factions," Lila, Hollis, and Glen remarked, their eyes wide with disbelief as they gazed upon the shimmering piles of purple crystals.

With these crystals, even Tier 5 or Tier 6 Magic Cannons could be unleashed instantaneously, their strategic importance on the battlefield undeniable, capable of unleashing devastating destructive power!

Even Moli's eyes widened in astonishment, aware that Magic Energy Purple Crystals were exceedingly rare among the Forest Elves, with ordinary elves seldom possessing even one.

"And here we have high-quality magic crystals, items highly coveted even within the Shadow Market frequented by top-tier powers!" Moli's gaze shifted, alighting upon another storage section adjacent to the abundant Magic Energy Purple Crystals.

"It would be truly wonderful if these could be put to good use," Anna said, a subtle relief crossing her features as she addressed Leo Ray. "If it pleases Your Majesty, you are welcome to take them."

"Then I shall accept them with gratitude," Leo Ray replied, making no pretense of refusal and promptly transferring the entire contents into his storage dimension.

Having recently undergone numerous comprehensive upgrades, Leo Ray possessed an intimate understanding of the resource base of second-tier powers. A typical second-tier faction possessed barely a hundred Magic Energy Purple Crystals, yet here, there were no less than ten thousand!

As for the high-quality magic crystals, finding even a single usable one might prove difficult across all second-tier powers. This was especially true since, once a magic crystal was inscribed with a magic rune, it became an integral component of a magic array or barrier, rendering it unsuitable for any other application.

"It appears this fortuitous discovery is remarkably substantial. Not only will these magic crystals significantly bolster our foundations, but their value in the Shadow Market, even to first-class powers, provides me with greater leverage when dealing with their influential figures!" Leo Ray declared, his joy palpable as he continued his advance under Anna's guidance.

Subsequently, the group procured numerous Tier 5 and Tier 6 equipment pieces from the designated storage area. Notably, they obtained a significant quantity of Tier 6 items, which substantially fortified Leo Ray's existing capabilities.

"My apologies, Your Majesty of the Humans, some demigod-tier equipment was originally stored here. It appears the local tribesmen requisitioned them to confront their adversaries," Anna expressed regretfully after a thorough inspection, her head shaking in deference to Leo Ray.

"No matter, this has already proven immensely helpful," Leo Ray responded with a casual gesture. His palm opened, revealing a set of exquisitely designed demigod mage equipment, which he then presented to Anna.

Included with this gift were a high-capacity storage ring and several potent trump cards designed for survival.

"Your Majesty of the Humans, this is...?!" Anna was momentarily stunned by the sheer brilliance and quality of the high-tier equipment before her.

Even during the zenith of the Gray Elves' power, demigod-grade artifacts were exceedingly rare. The premium demigod grade presented now was beyond anything she had anticipated.

"Consider it a small token of my appreciation," Leo Ray stated with a gentle smile as he handed over the items.

"Your Majesty continually manages to exceed expectations," Anna remarked. Accepting the gifts with both hands, her eyes conveyed a newfound respect for Leo Ray.

After carefully securing the equipment, she offered Leo Ray a knowing smile and divulged, "Your Majesty, there remains one final warehouse situated ahead. Should any provisions still be present, they are sure to greatly benefit Your Majesty!"

With that, Anna resumed her role as guide, leading the group onward. Before long, they arrived at the last warehouse, located at the passage's terminus.

As Anna deactivated the magical seal on the entrance and the door creaked open, a palpable aura of grandeur emanated from within.

The entire group, eyes fixed and wide with anticipation, could not help but stare in astonishment.

Before them stood rows upon rows of imposing gray-white alchemy puppets, their surfaces reflecting a subdued, matte sheen. These constructs filled the vast chamber, numbering well over a hundred.

"Your Majesty, these are a squad of Gray Elf alchemy puppet guardians, each possessing a combat strength at the half-step Tier 7 level," Anna announced with a proud smile, observing the intact condition of the formidable guardians. "If it is Your Majesty's desire, I shall transfer their command to you immediately."

"Over a hundred combatants at the half-step Tier 7 threshold?" Leo Ray breathed, awe overwhelming him as he absorbed the immense presence radiating from the room.

He realized that even gathering all the half-step Tier 7 cultivators under his command would not match this number, especially units that could be instantly summoned.

"Previously, witnessing the Broken Wing King deploy alchemy puppets of a similar caliber stirred a sense of envy within me. I never anticipated acquiring so many of this magnitude so swiftly. Such a legion of half-step Tier 7 alchemy puppets could easily contend with multiple powerful demigods!" Leo Ray declared, drawing a deep breath. His heart swelled with elation; these guardians would undoubtedly become a formidable new pillar of his strength!
