The Elf Village Chief revealed himself to be Dark Elf Anna, who proceeded to trap Leo Ray. Bright Elf Anna intervened, allowing Leo Ray and the Stone Spirits to escape. Though baffled by the bizarre events and the existence of two Annas, Leo Ray resolved to find the Forbidden Land for answers.

A lazy, unfamiliar crisp voice, as though newly awakened, concluded with a yawn.

As the voice faded, a towering figure clad in silver armor materialized before Leo Ray and his companions.

"Who are you?!"

Sheila and the other Stone Spirits reacted with swiftness, forming a protective circle that ensnared the unexpected arrival.

With the formation of the encirclement, Sheila and the three Stone Spirits involuntarily let out a soft "hmm," their recognition of the newcomer evident.

"No need for alarm, sisters. It would be troublesome if we mistakenly harmed a good person," the armored figure proclaimed.

The clinking of armor accompanied the unfamiliar figure's gesture of open, empty hands, signaling a lack of hostile intent.

"Lord, this individual is likely the Stone Spirit native to this area," Sheila communicated mentally to Leo Ray, her vigilance undiminished.

Beside Sheila, Xiao Jie and Xiao Jing mirrored her cautious stance, wary of any potential aggressive action from this newly appeared kin.

Given the unresolved issues at the Ancient Elves' Village, any emergence of ill intent from this being could only exacerbate their predicament.

"I had my suspicions. Since they've revealed themselves willingly, let's at least hear what they have to say," Leo Ray proposed.

Leo Ray raised his hand slightly, motioning for the Stone Spirits to stand down.

Upon closer inspection, the silver-armored Stone Spirit lacked a helmet, revealing a tan face adorned with freckles. A long braid cascaded from their shoulder plates, giving the impression of an aspiring knight, just a neighborly girl.

"As expected of Your Excellency, who has earned the respect of many peers! Truly remarkable!"

Sensing the receding hostility from Sheila and the others, the unfamiliar Stone Spirit visibly relaxed, chuckling before stating plainly, "I'll be direct then. Your Excellency is searching for the Forbidden Land within the village, aren't you?"

"How did you know that? Have you been trailing us?" Xiao Jing demanded, puffing out her chest, voicing Leo Ray's unspoken question.

"Not exactly trailing. It's only logical to observe those who challenge the 'Gate' beforehand, wouldn't you agree?" The unfamiliar Stone Spirit responded vaguely, scratching their head with a hint of embarrassment, implicitly confirming Xiao Jing's suspicion.

Leo Ray considered this with a thoughtful nod.

This particular Stone Spirit didn't strike him as deceitful, appearing rather straightforward and honest.

Considering Sheila and the others' ability, as fellow Stone Spirits, to discern falsehoods, this newcomer seemed trustworthy.

With these considerations in mind, Leo Ray calmed himself and posed the crucial question, "Why have you chosen to assist us, Your Excellency?"

"I've been dormant here for ages. Finally encountering a challenger dedicated to seeking the truth, it's an opportunity I must seize!"

The unfamiliar Stone Spirit stated with earnest simplicity, "My own trial has yet to commence. If Your Excellency were to be hindered here by that Mad Elf, wouldn't my anticipation be in vain?"

"That perspective holds some validity," Leo Ray conceded with a wry smile.

He then turned serious, asking, "Do you know the location of the Forbidden Land, Your Excellency?"

"Of course! That is precisely why I have come!"

The unfamiliar Stone Spirit chuckled again, confidently declaring, "I shall escort Your Excellency to the Forbidden Land immediately!"

"Hold on. Weren't you asleep just moments ago? You awoke when we arrived, so how do you know the whereabouts of the Forbidden Land?" Xiao Jing questioned, her brow furrowed slightly, still not fully convinced.

"That's right. Because I was asleep, I am intimately familiar with this place."

The unfamiliar Stone Spirit offered a cryptic response that momentarily stunned Leo Ray, before a sudden realization dawned upon him.

"Are you implying this isn't the real world, but some form of Dream Space?" Leo Ray blurted out, as if struck by a sudden epiphany.

"Indeed, but this particular sector, the Elf Village, is ensnared within the Mad Elf's dream, not the entirety of the Barrier Area," the unfamiliar Stone Spirit confirmed without hesitation, their starry eyes blinking in agreement.

"In that case, everything aligns perfectly," Leo Ray stated.

Leo Ray nodded subtly, piecing together the disparate clues.

He was no stranger to Dream Spaces that could encroach upon reality; the Dragon Mirage served as a direct example.

While this Dream Space was a specialized form within the Illusion Realm, it differed significantly from conventional illusions. Applying standard illusion-detection methods would indeed prove challenging without prior knowledge.

Naturally, the dragon, representing a rudimentary form within Dream Spaces, was often detectable. However, this meticulously crafted Dream Space mirrored reality with astonishing fidelity.

"No wonder such strange and even grotesque occurrences unfolded before us. For example, upon our initial arrival, the village elves displayed no apprehension, with both Light Elves and Dark Elves positioned together. If this is merely a dream, then indeed, all explanations become clear."

Recounting the entire sequence of events since their entry into the Barrier Area, Leo Ray offered a thoughtful nod.
