Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2802: 1536: The Escalating Banquet (Part 1)
Previously on Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong...
For a brief moment, Leo Ray appeared to be battling like a trapped beast, repeatedly lashing out with his sword in a futile attempt to sever the bindings, only to find himself striking thin air without success.
“Hehe, abandon this meaningless struggle. My space chains are immune to conventional attacks, yet they possess the ability to restrain any target—even pulling dragons from the heavens. Behold the terrifying potency of a master of space!”
Russ Blues let out an amused grin, his aged face twisting as he mocked, “Emperor of the Human Clan, it appears your game has reached its conclusion.”
Watching the spectacle from their elevated seats, Hollis II and Lila wore expressions of smug superiority.
Hollis II, in particular, remained exceptionally composed. He was well aware that the Prince of Nothingness, Russ Blues, was an incredibly rare practitioner of space-series techniques. In a one-on-one duel, he could easily overwhelm most adversaries of equal power, let alone in such an advantageous setting.
After all, while the Human Emperor wielded significant strength, he was ultimately alone. Even facing three warriors at the Half-step Tier 7 level would be difficult; with four, defeat seemed inevitable.
“Emperor of the Human Clan, it is a pity that those who serve you are nothing but dead weight. Why prolong the agony?”
Lak observed the scene with absolute confidence, watching as Leo Ray was nearly completely encased by the myriad of chains.
Just as the chains tightened around his target, Lak was startled to see the corners of Leo Ray’s mouth curl into a confident smirk: “Who told you I was alone?”
The moment his words landed, a sharp sound of metallic fracturing echoed through the hall. The indestructible space chains snapped simultaneously, dissolving into nothingness.
Before Lak could recover his senses, a liberated Leo Ray and Sheila launched a swift counter-offensive, battering him with Thunder Light and Elemental Bullets. Lak stumbled, his Energy Barrier visibly fraying under the intensity of the assault.
Stunned, Lak desperately swung his Giant Axe in defense, but Leo Ray had already vanished, scattering into clones and disappearing from the view of the onlookers.
“How is this possible? How could that Human Emperor shatter those space chains so easily?!”
The entire chamber erupted into chaos as they witnessed the unexpected turn of events.
The giants, who had been certain of their easy victory, stared with wide eyes, and both Hollis II and Lila surged to their feet in disbelief.
“My legendary space chains were destroyed without effort?!”
The pride that had once filled Russ Blues’s weathered face vanished instantaneously. “Is there another space Grand Magician hidden in our midst who can rival my power?”
“Old man, isn’t it a bit late to realize the truth now?”
A dainty silhouette draped in pink materialized above Russ’s head, her miniature Magic Wand glowing with intense radiance. Without needing an introduction, it was unmistakably Moli.
“Triple Space Strangulation!”
As the command left her lips, the air around Russ pleated like a crumpled ball of parchment, deforming and compressing toward him with violent force.
“Ugh!”
Caught off guard, Russ Blues frantically swung his massive staff. The warped space stabilized momentarily, allowing him to teleport to a clear area.
However, despite his timely escape, his massive bulk was clipped by the pressure, and his Energy Barrier suffered, leaving him looking disheveled and exposed.
“Not only did she effortlessly shatter the Prince of Nothingness’s chains, but she also forced him into a humiliating retreat? Such a display exceeds the capabilities of any ordinary Tier 6 Space Magician!”
Hollis II’s aged eyes widened in genuine astonishment.
“Could that hooded figure also be at the Half-step Tier 7 level?”
Shadows of doubt crossed Lila’s elegant features as she wondered, “Has the Emperor of the Human Clan been concealing yet another powerful existence?”
Although Hollis II and Lila attempted to mask their shock and regain their composure, the air of certainty that once surrounded them had evaporated.
Moli’s sudden intervention had completely blindsided the assembly.
It was now undeniable that the forces supporting Leo Ray possessed top-tier combat power equivalent to that of the Half-Titans and Stone Giants—a clear hallmark of Second-tier power.
Had the Emperor of the Human Clan truly secured the resources to stand at the threshold of Second-tier influence?
With this realization, the giants fell deathly silent. The scorn and arrogance that had filled their eyes vanished, as the power Leo Ray had revealed was more than enough to crush their sense of superiority.
“It is Her Excellency in the pink hood! She truly has come to aid His Majesty!”
Noticing Moli absent from the rear ranks and standing boldly in the center of the banquet, the elderly Gary, his beard quivering with emotion, discarded all decorum and began leaping with unrestrained joy.
“Long live the Emperor of the Human Clan!”
Though Loris and Sina had not witnessed Moli’s previous feats, they caught the fervor and joined in the celebration.
They understood only one thing: under Leo Ray’s leadership, their side now boasted three formidable Half-step Tier 7 warriors.
While the morale of the humans soared, the giant faction remained locked in a suffocating, fearful silence. Meanwhile, the Administrator, hidden beneath his helmet, stood agape, struggling to comprehend the scene.
“Your Excellency, you are courting disaster by making enemies of the Half-Titans and the Stone Giants!”
Sensing the shift in the room’s atmosphere, Russ Blues’s face darkened as he attempted to intimidate Moli. “Are you aware of the consequences of your interference?”
Having felt the weight of her magic, Russ knew she was near his equal. He hoped to save face by posturing, while simultaneously probing for weaknesses, given that her identity was obscured by her hood.
“Do you Half-Titans ever stop talking?”
Unwilling to engage in idle threats, Moli caused the very air to shudder with the power of her wand as she unleashed another strike: “Space Judgment Blade!”
A translucent, gray spectral blade materialized, slicing directly toward Russ’s massive frame.
“Do not blame me for showing no mercy!”
Russ’s eyes narrowed into slits as he shouted, “I will demonstrate the true potential of a space warrior!”
“Nihility Titan Body!”
Abandoning evasion, Russ channeled mana like a surging tide. A ten-meter-tall, semi-transparent titan clad in gray scale armor manifested instantly, clutching a gargantuan axe.
Russ swung his wand, and the spectral titan swung the axe, shattering Moli’s blade with a deafening boom. Without pausing, Russ unleashed a horizontal strike, the giant axe cleaving the air toward Moli with devastating force.
“Your movements are pathetic. Do you really expect to land such a strike?”
Moli flickered and dodged, returning with yet another Space Giant Blade directed at Russ. The two titans of power clashed incessantly, the space between them warring and buckling under the strain. The spectators could only watch with bated breath, entirely transfixed by the escalating conflict.
“Did you forget about the lady standing right here?”
On the opposite side of the fray, Kira completed her incantation. Enveloped in pulsating violet energy, with her hair dancing in a wind that did not exist, she leveled a wand crackling with thunder toward Leo Ray’s position.
“Emperor of the Human Clan, it is time to conclude this farce.”
