Leo Ray stands his ground against the Half-Titan King Hollis II and the Stone Giant Clan Chief Lila, shocking the onlookers with his audacity. Despite the immense power gap between the second-tier forces and the Human Empire, the leaders prepare for a confrontation within the Shadow Market. Administrator I desperately attempts to de-escalate the tension by urging them to discuss the actual reason for the banquet. Faced with mounting pressure from the crowd, Lila finally turns the conversation toward the true motive behind their meeting.

Sina’s serpentine locks swayed, though no breeze stirred the room. She let out a sharp scoff, "It appears these second-tier factions are truly nothing special!"

"Are you feeling anxious? You lot are clearly placing far too much importance on yourselves."

Lila muffled a laugh behind her hand for a moment before retorting, "We merely find the bird’s chirping to be a nuisance, nothing more. When it was distant, we chose to ignore it, but since it has flown right into our grasp like a fool, it is only fitting that we offer it a lesson."

"For centuries, while we were too occupied to concern ourselves with you, you certainly spent plenty of time lurking near our borders, even becoming bold enough to openly challenge us, didn’t you?"

Hollis II remained perched upon his massive throne, casting his gaze down at Sina, Loris, and the others with a composed expression. "The time has finally come to settle these debts."

"Absurd! What is this talk of us dancing around your borders? It was clearly you using your superior power to roam those territories without restraint. Are you suggesting we aren't even permitted to resist?"

Loris’s lion-like features twisted with indignation as he fired back.

Once Loris had finished, Sina chimed in with a sharp nod, "The fault lies entirely with you, and that is all there is to discuss!"

"And yet, haven't you launched quite a few unprovoked strikes yourselves recently? Irrelevant. What matters is that we now have the leisure to handle this matter."

Lila rested her chin against her palm, eyeing Sina with a playful demeanor. "Is that not the truth?"

"Then, what is it that you truly want?" Sina’s bravado visibly faltered as she furrowed her brow.

"Submit to us, surrender your status to become our servants, and hand over the Witch Demon Territory. From this point forward, you will live in complete subjection." Hollis II interjected with practiced calm. "How does that sound? Simple enough, wouldn't you agree?"

"You have lost your mind!" Loris and Sina roared simultaneously, their anger shared by an equally outspoken Old Gary, all of them standing firm in their defiance.

It was clear that Loris and Sina would never allow their alliance to be reduced to mere puppets, and Old Gary, having finally reclaimed his home after so much turmoil, was equally unlikely to surrender it.

"Quiet! Our King has shown you such rare mercy, yet you remain stubbornly ungrateful!" Prince Mad Axe Rax marched forward, shouting coldly, "If you refuse to submit, do not blame us for the lack of hospitality!"

"Exactly. When that happens, it will be far worse than simply becoming slaves!" Following Rax’s outburst, the surrounding Half-Titans and Stone Giants chimed in, their expressions filled with utter contempt for our group.

In an instant, the collective aura radiating from the six half-step Tier 7 commanders and their hundreds of Tier 6 subordinates crashed down like a rising tide, forcing our members to break into a cold sweat as a deep chill crept into their bones.

Loris, Sina, and Old Gary, the heads of the three-way alliance, wore grave expressions.

All three realized that if the enemy’s full force were unleashed, total annihilation would be certain. The disparity in sheer power was stifling.

Just as panic threatened to take hold, Leo Ray’s steady, calm voice resonated through the Banquet Hall.

"I have an alternative proposal: why don't the Half-Titans and Stone Giants bow down to us and become our subordinates instead?"

Silence instantly blanketed the Banquet Hall as everyone turned their eyes toward him, stunned by the sheer audacity of the suggestion.

Moments later, Payton erupted into a mocking laugh. "Did I mishear that? This man expects us to kneel? The world truly has turned upside down."

As Payton laughed, the other giants soon followed, their initial surprise shifting quickly into open disdain for Leo Ray.

Even Sina, Loris, and Old Gary exchanged bewildered glances, clearly taken aback by Leo Ray’s explosive statement.

"The Human Emperor is certainly bolder, yet far more naive, than I anticipated." Lila raised a hand to silence the giants, then looked down at Leo Ray with a playful smirk. "We haven't indicated that we intend to trouble the Human Domain yet, so why interfere? Might you let me conclude what I was saying?"

"Does that mean you have something to say regarding my Human Clan as well?" Leo Ray folded his arms, waiting to see what else they might offer.

"Emperor, do not be so defensive. We have only a small request of the Human Clan." Lila’s eyes shimmered with intensity as she smiled. "I’ve heard that a relic of the Titan Clan was recently discovered within the Human Domain. Simply turn that ancient temple over to us, and we shall have no further interest in the rest of your territory."

After Lila spoke, Hollis II gave a sharp nod, his clouded eyes bright with a sense of fanatical urgency.

Everyone knew that both the Half-Titans and Stone Giants took immense pride in their latent Titan bloodlines and held a deep, almost religious reverence for the long-lost Titan Tribe from the Era of Blankness. To gain access to such a ruin was an opportunity they could never pass up.

"They are actually aware of the Titan Clan Ruins near Viennas City?" Leo Ray’s face showed a flicker of genuine shock.

He still held a vivid memory of the massive relic he had explored previously with Asher Porter and his companions.

Still, he wondered, how did they come to know of its existence?

"To my knowledge, Asher Porter kept the location of that massive ruin under wraps. Even forces from the Outer Region should be unaware of it, let alone these titans from so far away." Leo Ray knit his brows, lost in thought.

Judging by the desperate hunger in the eyes of Hollis II and Lila, they had only recently learned of it. Who could have leaked the information?

It was clear they did not yet know the exact location. That was likely the primary reason they had invited him here: to extract the precise coordinates of the ruins.

"If someone discovered the ruins and explored them, then informed these two factions—that person must be able to traverse the Outer Region, and they clearly don't have a close alliance with these titans, or else they would have simply shared the location. Lastly, this person must have recently visited the Human Domain..." A sudden realization struck Leo Ray.

A mysterious figure meeting all three criteria came to mind: the Erosion Eraser, who recently quietly wiped out "Corrosion" within the underground ancient ruin.

That ruin happened to be near Viennas City, not far from the Titan Temple. It was logical to assume they might have stumbled upon the temple’s existence during their own exploration.

The dilemma remained: he had zero connection with the Erosion Eraser. Why would they go out of their way to notify the Half-Titans and Stone Giants about the relic?

As Leo Ray wrestled with his confusion, Sina, Loris, and Old Gary watched him with bated breath, their hearts racing with anxiety.

The giants had explicitly stated they only wanted the Titan site; if the Human Emperor chose to trade it away, the Human Domain could potentially secure its safety.

Was he prepared to abandon the relic to secure the peace of his border? It was, after all, a rational move.

Lila and Hollis II gazed down at Leo Ray with smug confidence, clearly convinced they had made the most generous offer imaginable. If the Human Emperor stood aside, crushing Loris and his allies would be trivial.

"Enough. Now is not the time to second-guess these matters." Sensing the shifting moods in the hall, Leo Ray sharpened his focus. He fixed his eyes on the self-assured Lila and Hollis and stated bluntly, "I'm afraid I’ll have to disappoint you—I will not be handing over that relic."
