Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2791: 1531: Showdown at the Banquet (Part 2)
Previously on Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong...
When Leo Ray moved away from the dining table, Sina, Loris, the elderly Gary, and the rest of the powerful figures from the three alliances, along with the half-Titan and Stone Giant across from them, including Rax in person, all found themselves stunned.
Not a soul had anticipated that Leo Ray would truly take up Rax’s provocation.
“Hey, Your Majesty of the Humans, this isn’t the moment for rash actions!”
Anxiety filled Loris’s lion-like features as he whispered urgently to halt Leo Ray’s advance, “Those foes are merely flexing their muscles; there’s no reason for us to clash directly with them!”
“Exactly, Your Majesty of the Humans, dealing with that fellow is incredibly tough! He’s leagues beyond Bisos and Rock from before!”
After Loris spoke, Sina and the others chimed in, their expressions brimming with worry.
All present knew well that Leo Ray served as the vital heart of their group, and should harm befall him, they’d forfeit their leader, leading to unthinkable fallout.
Furthermore, through various incidents, Leo Ray had gained the full trust and admiration of the team, and on a personal level, Sina and company were utterly unwilling to witness any misfortune striking him.
“Haha, Emperor of the Humans, your boldness alone deserves praise.”
Rax cracked his enormous fists with a popping noise, facing off against the steadily nearing Leo Ray.
Rax was aware of how Leo Ray had previously humiliated Bisos and Rock, yet those pair merely reached Tier 6 Peak strength. He figured Leo Ray had relied on a hidden ace to barely slip away unharmed.
However, as a true half-step Tier 7 expert, his might and force surpassed Tier 6 Peak by a wide margin. Attempting sly maneuvers before him amounted to nothing short of suicide.
“Administrator, with the show about to kick off, don’t we need a suitable arena prepared?”
After Leo Ray positioned himself nearby, the imposing Rax shifted his attention toward Administrator I.
“I get it,”
Administrator I replied in a dull voice, nodding with evident hesitation.
With those words, the surrounding area expanded around Leo Ray and Rax, pulling the nearby dining table and attendees far off. A space roughly twice the size of a soccer pitch emerged in the heart of the Banquet Hall.
Such spatial alterations, seen in sessions with Moli or battles against demons, were familiar to Leo Ray, leaving him unfazed. Conversely, Administrator I, the one wielding the space ability, revealed a flicker of unease in his gaze.
It was crucial to remember that the Bazaar Brotherhood forbade brawls between visitors in the Shadow Market, let alone him, as an Administrator, facilitating the site. Still, both the half-Titan and Stone Giant had aided him greatly, so denying their wishes was impossible.
Under these circumstances, should Leo Ray suffer any mishap, the administrators from our faction would surely inform the Bazaar Brotherhood, particularly with Leo Ray’s Communication Magic Stone ever active.
At this thought, sweat drops like beans appeared on Administrator I’s brow beneath his enclosed combat helmet. He merely wished Rax would hold back, sparing the Human Emperor’s life at minimum, to avoid his own dire predicament.
As Administrator I fretted intensely, the half-Titan and Stone Giant, by contrast, observed the event with sneers and eager expectation.
Even among third-class factions, and certainly in second-class ones, Prince Mad Axe Rax carried a terrifying name. Crushing that arrogant Human Emperor resembled stepping on a mere insect.
In an instant, roars and supportive yells from the giants echoed through the banquet hall, causing Sina and the rest to grit their teeth harder, their tension mounting sharply.
“Haha, Human Emperor, your daring is truly worthy of note, yet certain gaps can’t be bridged by guts alone.”
While basking in the giants’ acclaim, Rax advanced toward Leo Ray, his scarred bronze visage turning grim as he uttered icily, “Aware of this and charging ahead anyway—that’s nothing but stupidity!”
Upon saying that, Rax launched his huge balled fist, his colossal frame surging forward in a savage lunge at Leo Ray.
The sweeping blow whipped up a violent gust, rattling dishes and goblets on far-off tables and unleashing a thunderous aura.
Even more startling was the velocity, wildly at odds with his bulky form, showing no hint of awkwardness or lag!
“It’s finished; Rax held nothing back, clearly provoked by that Human Emperor, leaving the Human Majesty in peril now.”
Witnessing this, Administrator I’s chest constricted at once, his countenance etched with dismay.
One had to realize that not even he could readily withstand such a strike from the adversary!
Yet in the very next instant, his eyes bulged in astonishment.
Leo Ray, calm and unhurried, enveloped in a surge of violet magical glow, abruptly vanished from view with a shimmer.
His swift, graceful form trailed only a brief spark of electricity, effortlessly dodging Rax’s descending enormous punch.
