As the group approaches the mysterious ancient ruins, Moli senses a massive spatial energy fluctuation far surpassing the recent witch demon's power, rendering her magic ineffective and urging immediate retreat. Tensing with memories of their grueling battle, the warriors grip their weapons, but an invisible, flawless space barrier seals their escape route, trapping them within. Leo Ray remains composed, deducing a Deity's involvement akin to the Lord Arena, shocking his subordinates as Moli questions his familiarity with divine forces.

"Your Excellency, to be honest, I'm an Otherworldly Lord who's arrived in this realm, so it's only natural that I carry some exceptional qualities."

Leo Ray kept his response concise, merely flashing a subtle smile.

"...And what exactly is an Otherworldly Lord?"

Moli, fresh from her escape through the spatial rift, looked even more baffled, clearly still in the dark about this detail.

"Simply put, it's something out of the ordinary."

Leo Ray chose not to elaborate further, instead wiping the smile from his face and speaking with utmost seriousness, "Very well, even though we now realize a Deity is pulling the strings behind all this, drawing from our past encounters, the road ahead remains just as hazardous as battling demons—full of deadly risks—so everyone needs to stay completely vigilant."

Once Leo Ray had spoken, the assembled experts all gave grave nods of assent, and then, led by him, they pressed on toward the ancient ruins.

Before long, the entire party had entered the long-forgotten subterranean ancient city.

From Moli's senses, the subtle yet chilling spatial ripples from before had silently faded away, hinting at some hidden threat taking shape.

As they advanced, Leo Ray took further note.

A handful of structures remained intact in this place, while most lay in shattered fragments and rubble, overgrown with shadowy magical moss, signs of a fierce battle—possibly from the Era of Blankness—that had razed it.

Beyond that, two key concerns stood out.

For one, as Moli and Broy had pointed out, this wasn't a Dwarf Elf settlement, but its gateway featured a Dwarf Elf teleportation array, which demanded an explanation.

For another, the original magical transmission—might it have been yet another deceptive lure designed to trap them?

While Leo Ray mulled this over, Calvin's elderly voice sounded nearby, "Your Majesty, from what I've seen, these ruins appear to belong to the Ancient Human Tribe!"

"Yes, I see it the same way."

Grey Elder agreed with a nod and added, "A lot of the building designs here closely match those buried far inside Radiant City. True, we lack any clear badges or intricate markings like motifs, but they must stem from the Ancient Human Tribe."

At these words, Leo Ray gave a small nod.

From his knowledge, ever since the Era of Blankness, plenty of Ancient Human Tribe sites had surfaced across this territory, though the vast majority were badly ruined, left as mere heaps of crumbled stone and wreckage.

The most complete building known today was the Pelican Princess's palace, home to the Temple of Light's grand chamber. A somewhat preserved spot was the old Silver Fire King's palace under Brilliant City.

After wiping out the Black Abyss Brotherhood, teams of scholars from both sites had been sent to investigate, including Grey Elder's group from the Mercenary Guild and Calvin's from the Coldflame Palace, so their expertise came as no shock.

"So, these turn out to be relics from the Ancient Human Tribe. If my memory serves, back then, the mightiest ruler was probably the Silver Fire Kingdom, wasn't it?"

Moli thought for a moment before voicing her question.

After that, she changed her inflection and glanced at Leo Ray, murmuring, "You've surely claimed a bunch of treasures from the Ancient Human Tribe, haven't you? That's where all your hidden aces come from."

"As Your Excellency wishes."

Leo Ray shrugged casually and steered the topic elsewhere, "In a moment like this, Your Excellency, kindly refrain from digging into my private matters."

"Hmph, aren't you always poking around my own secrets?"

Moli rolled her eyes and puffed her cheeks, "To be frank, tagging along with you never leads to anything positive. I only meant to wander around a little, but now I'm tangled up with a Deity. Even if I explained it to those pigheaded clan elders, they'd dismiss it as utter rubbish."

As Moli's words faded, excited shouts from Grey Elder and Calvin echoed at the same time into Leo Ray's ears, "Your Majesty, these are unquestionably remnants of the Silver Fire Kingdom. We've uncovered solid proof!"

Turning toward the sound, Leo Ray saw a half-ruined structure in their path, its surviving wall bearing a faded wolf-head insignia—the mark of the Silver Fire Kingdom.

Right as Leo Ray took this in, Moli's tone sharpened with urgency, exclaiming, "That horrifying spatial energy surge is back!"

With her alert, the group spotted in astonishment how the previously barren area now teemed with shadowy forms pulsing with immense presences, while barrages of arrows already hurtled their way.

"Fight back!"

Thanks to Little Jie's prompt activation of the Absolute Defense Barrier and the party's sharp readiness, counter-spells and arrows flew straight at the sudden assailants.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

In the midst of thunderous magical blasts, clouds of dust billowed high, turning the already murky environment into total obscurity.

As the haze started to clear, the party realized the attackers had all vanished, and oddly, the incoming arrows seemed to have dissolved before even touching the Absolute Defense Barrier.

"What just occurred? Was that some kind of mirage?"

Kara's eyes went wide with shock. Though she'd reached Tier 4 strength, she felt dwarfed by the other Tier 6 powerhouses and their overwhelming auras from moments ago.

"No, I detected zero traces of illusion magic."

Moli clearly possessed ways to spot and resist such deceptions, confirming, "Those silhouettes were genuine, yet their vanishing act was equally authentic."

"So what does that imply? Did they employ teleportation spells?"

Broy rubbed his head in bewilderment, "But that can't be right—how did the arrows get teleported too?"

"They absolutely were, but I felt no teleportation waves at all. What's truly happening here?"

Moli's words brimmed with bewilderment, as this strange event was clearly a first for her.

"Even assuming they all teleported away, why launch an assault only to pull back? Is this meant as a caution to us?"

The rugged blue features of the tree-born entity creased in a frown as he scanned the area intently, declaring, "It's completely baffling."

"Plus, in these barren ancient ruins, a band of mighty warriors popping up out of nowhere—doesn't that break all reason?"

Fanny furrowed her brow deeply, on full guard, "It's downright impossible to grasp."

Hearing the confused murmurs around him, Leo Ray sank into contemplation.

Regarding who these attackers were, he could only guess they might be overlord-tier lords from some parallel world.

However, no guiding voice had announced any lordly clashes this time, and as the group puzzled over it, why had the assault halted midway? What was their true intent? Were they honestly from beyond this realm?

While Leo Ray reflected, additional forms radiating powerful auras materialized once more, swiftly charging the air with hostility.

On this occasion, the formidable shapes emerged right before the party, nearly brushing the Absolute Defense Barrier.

In astonishment, Leo Ray at last recognized their essence—they were nothing but silhouettes, eerily like the Space Magic Puppet Moli had called forth earlier!

"Wait, are these...?!"

Moli caught on too, her eyes bulging in surprise, but before anyone could respond, an even more astonishing twist unfolded.
