A massive space rift tore open behind Leo Ray, unleashing a powerful suction force from the deadly Void Space that dragged him, Frank, Gary, the Stone Spirits, and the pink-hooded ally toward oblivion. The Witch Demon Leader, smug from deploying a forbidden scroll, watched in disbelief as the group halted abruptly, shielded by the Void Resistance Crystals provided by the pink-hooded person, allowing them to press the attack undeterred. Leo Ray acknowledged the ally's aid while refusing their request for summon scrolls, reminding them of the lurking demigod threat amid the fierce, unrelenting clashes between Golem Puppets and undead forces on the dim battlefield.

Soon enough, as the space rift trailing them lost its strength to seal shut, letting the team move freely once more, Leo Ray didn't pause for a second. He swung his hand and declared: “Everyone, let's completely smash our foes now!”

Once Leo Ray finished speaking, the infantry clashing directly with the enemy, the archers and mages firing from afar, and the cavalry storming into the rival ranks all surged ahead at the same time.

Meanwhile, more golem puppets kept appearing and diving into the intense fray. Leo Ray possessed over ten thousand Tier 5 summon scrolls.

“Tighten your ranks, smash these pests flat!”

Noticing our abrupt push, the Witch Demon Leader, who had suffered defeat after defeat, flew into a rage and swiftly issued orders to counter.

The foes zeroed in on the cavalry breaking through their defenses. After taking heavy casualties, waves of massive, heavily armored undead charged out, and our swift golem puppets on mounts shattered rapidly, disappearing amid the enemy ranks.

With the adversaries piling their Tier 6 undead at the forefront, our marching foot golem puppets took devastating hits, unable to widen the trap and beginning to pull back.

Our ranged fighters had barely stepped forward when a hail of bone spears and arrows blanketed them, their ability to fight back severely hampered.

This made sense, as the enemy assaulted from every side with focused barrages, whereas our strikes were spread out and failed to hit the whole opposing force.

“Human kid, things are turning sour.”

Seeing this unfold, the pink-hooded figure's voice carried a note of tension, their brow creasing as they said: “At this rate, no matter how many summon scrolls you hold, they'll run dry eventually.”

“Hahaha, you silly human bugs, charging in blindly like that—it's laughable! In the end, you're all finished.”

The Witch Demon Leader, spotting the same trend, grew wild with excitement and kept directing the undead horde to press on.

Across the battlefield, the enemy's drive was unstoppable, rendering our golem puppets nearly helpless as they crumbled one by one and faded into nothingness.

In an instant, the ground we'd gained was not just taken back but squeezed even smaller, narrowing the already tight area further. Scattered arrows now fell close to Leo Ray's squad, making the peril even greater.

As the pink-hooded figure's frown deepened in growing frustration, Leo Ray's steady voice sounded beside them: “Relax, the main event is starting right now.”

True to his words, the moment Leo Ray spoke, a brilliant golden glow erupted deep in the enemy lines. Towering pillars of gold shook the sky and ground, echoing and bouncing back, sending out bursts of radiant brilliance.

Every spot the golden radiance touched filled with shrieks, and countless undead dissolved into dust.

“A massive holy assault spell? Bursting out right in the middle of their ranks?”

The pink-hooded figure froze at first, then burst out in shock: “Human kid, how on earth did you pull that off?”

“They've wised up from the last time, staying on guard, and those Tier 6 area-effect scrolls are used up. So, it's definitely not an offensive magic scroll.”

Leo Ray gave a slight smile and answered: “However, apart from combat scrolls, there's one other type of magic scroll that can handle this with ease.”

“Got it! It's the magic trap scroll that needs manual triggering? I had no idea you'd secretly placed so many of those traps!”

The pink-hooded figure pieced it together fast, exclaiming: “So your wild advances before were just to set up those magic traps and lure the enemy straight into them?”

“Precisely, it's simple to have the magic golem puppets quietly lay down magic traps using scrolls without a sound.”

Leo Ray arched an eyebrow casually, confirming what the other had figured out.

“But after all these ups and downs, we've sacrificed at least a third of our Tier 5 golem puppets—is that really worthwhile?”

Even with the insight, the pink-hooded figure still fretted, their face creasing again.

“Absolutely, Your Excellency. Just watch what's happening on the field.”

Leo Ray dipped his head to the pink-hooded figure and gestured forward.

Guided by Leo Ray's point, the pink-hooded figure's eyes went wide in an instant.

Amid the booming holy golden pillars and rising wails from the enemy midst, the once-invincible undead troops dropped like marionettes with severed threads, clearly out of command.

Even the core Tier 6 undead among them followed suit; those not yet down simply stood frozen, swaying unsteadily.

Before long, the enemy's vanguard line almost fully broke down, throwing their whole side into disorder.

“That's how it is…?! No surprise the enemy lines echoed with those screams—they came from the controlled witch demons!”

The pink-hooded figure's voice lit up with realization as they blurted: “Human kid, those magic traps of yours didn't hit the regular undead—they went straight for the witch demons!”

“Spot on, as Your Excellency noticed before, these witch demons are sly beyond measure. Even in the earlier broad spell barrages, we only wiped out a few, and they avoided showing themselves openly.”

Leo Ray's sharp eyes went on: “So, the only way was to make them think we're weakening, drop their defenses, and drive deep into us—using a feigned retreat to set up the fatal blow.”

“Human kid, you keep pulling off these amazing feats.”

The pink-hooded figure nodded with fresh insight, gazing at Leo Ray in greater admiration.

“Fine, now it's our turn to smash them for real!”

With Leo Ray's order this time, Xiao Jing, Little Jie, and the rest of the Stone Spirits concentrated, and our golem puppets launched their comeback, speeding toward the enemy base.

On top of that, old Guy's cavalry reformed and struck like a keen dagger, slicing right through the disordered foe lines.

“You cursed human pests, the leader will rip you apart!”

As hordes of followers burned away beneath the gleaming holy glow, the Witch Demon Leader seethed in helpless fury but moved fast, rallying the troops and even shoving the undead guards to the front.

Directed by the Witch Demon Leader, the undead forces just managed to steady their lines, setting up to clash head-on with ours.

Yet it was clear that after these twists, the undead army had dwindled to a third of its size, offering no edge against us, much less the power to surround.

Realizing their upper hand was gone, the Witch Demon Leader shifted to a solid defense, gearing up for a prolonged fight to the finish.

“Human pests, whatever schemes you pull, it's all just your final struggle. Even if we can't wipe you out, stalling you works just fine!”

The Witch Demon Leader's dry lips curled, desperately lifting the undead army's spirits.

Catching the Witch Demon Leader's shout, the surviving witch demons regained their fierce looks, their crimson eyes blazing with murderous fury.

Every witch demon knew full well that once their master's plan wrapped up, any outside forces would be crushed, the Black Fog Blood Devouring Formation would reignite, and all these bugs would face total doom.

“Think you can stall me? Too bad, that option's off the table.”

Leo Ray saw through the enemy's plan in a flash and unleashed a total onslaught against them.
