Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2689 1478: Fierce Battle and Control
Previously on Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong...
In the expansive, shadowy void, rays of magical radiance and sharp sword auras collide fiercely, sending thunderous booms echoing across the skies while waves of chilling power sweep through the atmosphere.
Beyond just the heart of the battlefield, thick fumes billow everywhere, with lingering flames refusing to fade. Across numerous spots, massive craters either blaze intensely or remain iced over, littered with shattered bones of the undead from devastating large-scale spell barrages.
Positioned on the central command post amid the undead forces, the Witch Demon Leader observes hundreds of Tier 6 golem puppets conjured by Leo Ray battling savagely against the Tier 6 undead. Rage twists his hollow, shriveled nostrils.
He had never anticipated that this puny human Emperor, no bigger than an insect, could keep revealing such formidable aces, turning what was meant to be certain doom into an uncertain fight!
Fury surging within him, the Witch Demon Leader rearranged his troops, issuing a bold command for a total offensive. As soon as the leftover main force surges forward, regardless of how many limbs the human Emperor possesses, his end is guaranteed this round!
"Human ants, I, the Leader, will crush you to powder!"
The Witch Demon Leader's gaunt features warped as he bellowed in frenzy.
Sweeping his massive hand, the undead horde encircling Leo Ray and his allies charged ahead, brimming with lethal hostility, swiftly narrowing the gap to the surrounded core.
Yet right as the undead forces launched their charge, something unexpected happened.
High in the sky over Leo Ray's position, countless huge magical formations materialized abruptly. Out of these shimmering arrays, hundreds of multicolored magical giant dragons assembled rapidly, howling as they soared upward with tremendous force.
After lifting off, the dragons plunged toward the undead positions, spewing fatal dragon breath downward, etching paths of ruinous flames across the terrain.
The abrupt arrival of these conjured dragon golem puppets left the caught-off-guard undead army in disarray, sparking turmoil anew. The startled witch demons hastily reformed their lines, and it took some time before spells and arrows blanketed the heavens.
The Tier 5 Army's offensive strength proved incredibly potent. In the initial barrage of spells and projectiles, no fewer than a hundred dragon golems exploded in the air, crumbling mid-flight.
Following that, additional volleys of heavy assaults blanketed the skies, downing more dragon golems and soon bringing peace back to the overhead expanse.
This outcome was hardly shocking, given the presence of hundreds of Tier 6 witch demons and undead in their ranks, more than able to overpower these predominantly Tier 5 dragon golems.
Still, the persistent dragon breath from the plummeting golems kept ascending, shrouding the field of battle in dense haze.
"It's nothing but futile struggle, human ants, your death is near!"
On this occasion, the Witch Demon Leader himself vaulted forward shielded by the Imperial Guards, his expression brimming with savagery and disdain.
However, he barely advanced a few paces before shock once more stretched his crimson eyes wide.
As the fog slowly dissipated from the battlefield's middle, a vast, disciplined legion of golem puppets emerged, marching steadily with unified strides and crushing presence that matched the undead forces!
Without question, this stemmed from the activation of numerous Tier 5 summon scrolls by Leo Ray.
Those prior dragons served only as a diversion to draw the foes' focus, granting the interval needed to call forth the full golem puppet army.
In the midst of this, Leo Ray had deliberately sent the initial batch of Tier 6 golem puppets forward, paired with the dragons' spread, to carve out sufficient room and duration for his efforts.
Naturally, the Witch Demon Leader wasn't the only one stunned; the pink hooded cap person and old Gary next to Leo Ray shared the disbelief.
The pink hooded cap person stood particularly dumbfounded in astonishment. They had never imagined Leo Ray could truly summon an actual Tier 5 Army!
For top-tier powers, conjuring such a force posed no challenge, yet the Human Clan had only lately entered the Outer Region as a trivial player, their mightiest troops barely reaching Tier 2!
Furthermore, pooling resources from every third-class faction in the Outer Region wouldn't likely yield so many Tier 5 summon scrolls out of nowhere!
Those previous Tier 6 attack scrolls and Tier 6 summon scrolls were utterly beyond comprehension!
"No wonder this kid dares to storm directly into the opponent's lair; turns out he came well-prepared!"
"I guess this kid must have inherited the ancient human tribe's legacy; otherwise, there's no way he would have such a foundation!"
"Come to think of it, I've found a genuine gold mine here!"
As the pink hooded cap person pondered these revelations, Leo Ray concentrated on directing the summoned troops to press onward.
In truth, even after bolstering the Outer Region allies on their side and covering diverse costs plus shares for their powerhouses, Leo Ray's Tier 5 summon scrolls hadn't amassed to this extent, since many had been elevated to Tier 6 as hidden assets.
