Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2643: 1455: Doubts and Confessions

Once Frank had spoken, three heavily armored terrain dragons soared in, crashing down with force and kicking up a thick plume of dust.
The dust gradually cleared, and Leo Ray observed.
These turned out to be three Tier 5 undead beasts, fully encased in armor that hid their true forms.
It made sense, given how wary most groups—like the Human Clan and the Outer Region races—were toward necromancy, failing to distinguish between Controller of Humans and Controller of Beasts.
The mere sight or mention of undead always sparks alarm and discomfort; that's why, in the tales of the Nine Dragon-slaying Heroes, Frank's role was portrayed as a Summoning Magician.
So, he concealed it to dodge needless complications.
Naturally, Leo Ray, having tamed Lina and gained Nolan's loyalty, knew well the vast gap between the two types.
For typical necromancers, be they witch demons or nightmare knights, they rely on forbidden arts as Controllers of Humans, drawing power from terror and hopelessness through ruthless, gore-filled rituals.
In contrast, Frank, Lina, and Nolan, operating as Controllers of Beasts, simply tap into the raw savagery and primal instincts of fierce demon beasts, steering clear of any prohibited methods, which sets them apart sharply.
Leo Ray's eyes scanned the three terrain dragons, widening in surprise.
Riding on the expansive backs of each were figures he knew well; they were the vanished Dana, Davis, and a powerful Dragonborn warrior!
“Your Majesty, in pursuing the witch demon, I stumbled upon a prison in a forsaken ancient city, where these people were held captive, and the witch demon planned to wipe them out. Learning of Your Majesty's close ties to the Dragonborn, during the fierce fight, I decided to rescue and return them.”
Frank inclined his head in respect, then added.
“Your Majesty, it's truly Her Majesty the Queen, His Royal Highness the Prince, and the Captain of the Personal Guard!”
At Leo Ray's signal, the enthusiastic Dragonborn chiefs, including Nal, hurried forward, helping them dismount one by one, and shared the news with bubbling excitement to Leo Ray.
“I've got all the top healing supplies ready; hurry and get them inside the walls for care.”
Leo Ray gave a nod to Nal and the rest, then turned to Frank with thanks: “Old sir, you've done me a huge favor; these are key allies of mine, no doubt.”
“Serving Your Majesty is my greatest privilege.”
Frank maintained his bowed stance, replying: “What little I've contributed pales next to Your Majesty's feats for the Human Clan.”
“In any case, your aid makes me stronger than ever.”
Leo Ray gathered his focus and inclined his head to the veteran dragon-slaying legend, stating: “We can't waste time; let's talk more within the city.”
With those words, Leo Ray guided the group into Ice Stone City, its massive doors slamming closed behind them. Suddenly, the whole city positioned itself at the border of a zone shrouded in dark energy, right on the outskirts of the witch demon's Land of Howling, which matched the planned meeting spot with the two allied armies.
Everywhere the gaze fell, thick black mist cloaked the sky, its core hidden from sight, encircled by withered trees and bone-strewn ground, devoid of life, like the apocalypse had arrived.
“The witch demon's domain is truly a place of profound dread.”
Leo Ray positioned himself on the lofty battlements of Ice Stone City, staring into the deep, void-like blackness ahead, his brows knitting tightly.
Though kilometers from the black fog's grip, even from afar, Leo Ray sensed a heavy aura of death creeping in, filling him with a profound respect.
“Forgive me, Lord, after the fierce clash last night, while the Absolute Defense Barrier and Teleportation features of Ice Stone City are back online, others such as purification and isolation remain offline, which must be bothering the Lord.”
Noticing Leo Ray's creased forehead, Frost bowed low, embarrassment coloring his features.
“That's not it; I'm thinking about the whole zone, not just the nearby feelings.”
Leo Ray softly touched Frost's head, grinning: “From this range, it won't impact anyone inside the city below Tier 5, right?”
“Lord, this spot is secure; the miasma won't reach us, and the provisional detection barrier shows nothing unusual.”
Frost nodded vigorously, a trace of regret on his ashen face: “Regrettably, with so many barriers still down, Ice Stone City can't push straight into the foes' territory right now.”
“It's fine; Ice Stone City is handy, but we should gear up to operate without it too. This is prime for sharpening our edge.”
Leo Ray offered a faint smile, motioning casually.
Noting the absence of the two alliances' forces, Leo Ray faced Frank once more, handing over a full sixth-tier gear set plus some sixth-tier aces, and said warmly: “Old sir, your support this round was invaluable; take these as my thanks.”
“Your Majesty, this is overly generous.”
Newly arrived in Ice Stone City, Frank was already awed by the splendor of the Land of Divine Favor, and now faced with such rare Divine Weapons—items fit for top powers—he quickly shook his head, flustered: “I've only just joined Your Majesty's service; these are far too valuable.”
