With a faint smile, Leo Ray ended the mind talk after giving Ariel Watson a few final instructions.
He then reached out to the territory’s manager, Roger Smith, to ensure everything was functioning correctly. Once confirmed, Leo Ray resumed his cross-legged position on the floor and placed a second "Morning Star" pill into his mouth.
As he had previously noted, Leo Ray had undergone another transformation following his successful advancement, aided by the Physical Energy Vortex.
Consequently, while the violent medicinal power remained tyrannical, it was ultimately subdued. Under Leo Ray's focused direction, the energy was funneled into the Magic Energy Vortex and compressed until it was fully integrated into his own reserves.
As time ticked away, a light blue Magic Energy Crystal began to take shape within the expanding Magic Energy Vortex. Soon, the same chaotic, explosive energy surges he had experienced before began to erupt once more.
This required a period of adjustment and mastery, as the free-floating magical energy particles in the atmosphere were inherently incompatible with physical energy particles.
Despite being more prepared this time due to his accumulated experience and advantages, Leo Ray still found the process of suppressing and containing the energy particles to be an essential and demanding task for his spiritual power.
The ordeal finally concluded when Leo Ray opened his eyes, safely withdrawing the concentrated mana into the newly formed Magic Energy Crystal.
“So this is what it feels like to be a dual Tier 6 expert? The magical energy particles that were once invisible are now clearly perceived; it feels as though the entire world is within my grasp.”
Leo Ray took a deep breath, savoring the incredible sensation of power.
He had officially crossed the threshold, becoming a dual Tier 6 expert!
Filled with excitement, Leo Ray navigated to his attribute panel to check his progress.

“Impressive. Witnessing the growth of my strength is truly satisfying. I see a new ‘Honor’ section has appeared at the bottom as well; I didn't notice that earlier.”
“The ‘Lord Arena’ must have been held countless times by now. There are likely many champions among the Lords; I wonder if a ranking system will be introduced later?”
With those thoughts, Leo Ray dismissed the attribute window.
“However, those details aren't the priority right now. I've spent a significant amount of time Cultivation for this advancement; I need to know if the situation on the front lines has changed.”
Prompted by this concern, Leo Ray exited the Cultivation Room and contacted Ariel Watson again.
Ariel Watson picked up immediately, her tone noticeably more strained than before.
Leo Ray discovered through their conversation that it was now the following morning. More importantly, Ariel delivered some shocking news.
“Ariel, are you telling me that both Dana and Davis have vanished?”
Leo Ray's brow furrowed as he sought confirmation.
“Yes, my Lord. It happened thirty minutes ago. An urgent report from Dragonborn General Nal states that the Dragonborn Queen and the Winged Prince, along with over a hundred Imperial Guards, disappeared during a dawn inspection of the border fortress.”
Ariel Watson’s voice grew even more grave: “The border is currently under a complete lockdown, and our leadership is racing to Lion Castle for an emergency summit!”
“I understand. I am on my way; we will discuss the details in person.”
Leo Ray gave a short nod and severed the mental link.
He first stopped by the Lord’s Office to finish his daily Recruitment Order tasks.
As he worked, his frown deepened.
The significance of Dana and Davis could not be overstated; they were the pillars of authority for his faction.
Their sudden disappearance in the volatile border region raised many suspicious questions.
While Dana was still recovering from Tier 6 injuries, Davis was a formidable Tier 6 expert with numerous high-level trump cards.
For such a powerful group, including the elite Imperial Guard, to vanish without sending a single distress signal suggested that this was not the work of ordinary enemies.
As the leader of this alliance, Leo Ray knew a thorough investigation was mandatory. Failing to resolve this would shatter morale and threaten the stability required for the upcoming expeditions into the Outer Region.
Furthermore, Davis and the Dragonborn warriors had been invaluable allies in the Lord Arena and on the battlefield. He had no intention of abandoning them.
“I had hoped to settle things with minimal bloodshed, but if the enemy forces are behind this, it is a provocation I cannot ignore. They will learn the cost of their actions.”
“I have never backed down since arriving in this world, and I won't start now.”
After finishing his tasks, Leo Ray spoke with Old Steward Warren Dexter, grabbed a quick meal, and left the territory, traveling through Ice Stone City to reach Lion Castle.
Entering the brightly lit King’s Hall, Leo Ray saw the scale of the crisis.
The hall was packed with experts from the Human Clan and various other races, all shrouded in a heavy, somber atmosphere.
Because Lion Castle possessed a Teleportation Gate linked to the main station, the experts from the Outer Region had been able to assemble quickly.
As soon as Leo Ray appeared, the crowd surged toward him, offering respectful salutes.
The realization that Leo Ray had successfully increased his Cultivation in such a short window provided a much-needed boost to the room's morale.
Even so, a sense of dread lingered in the air.
Following the initial greetings, the Dragonborn representatives, led by Nal, hurried to Leo Ray’s side, their faces filled with desperation.
“Your Majesty of the Humans, we beg of you! Please save our Queen and the Prince!”
Nal and his companions fell to their knees, tears visible on their faces.
“Please, stand up. Resolving this is my top priority.”
Leo Ray personally helped Nal and the others to their feet, nodding solemnly. “Rest assured, I will get justice for you. Whatever hidden hand is responsible for this will pay a price they cannot afford.”
Having said that, Leo Ray signaled for everyone to take their places at the central conference table. He turned to Nal and said, “Now, tell me every detail you have.”
