Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2576 1420: Conversation in the Depths of the Great Hall

"A direct conversation with 'Eclipse'?!"
The announcement caused everyone present to freeze, exchanging looks of pure astonishment.
It was common knowledge, whether from the previous clash at the Dragon Nest or Old Nick’s harrowing ordeal, that 'Eclipse' represented a nameless entity of relentless cruelty—a bringer of nothing but terror and slaughter.
Furthermore, this adversary dwells within the profound depths of the abyssal magical ley lines. Such a domain is unreachable even for Tier 6 experts, making it a territory where their side could never hope to tread.
Logically speaking, the chance of establishing any dialogue was non-existent. It was even more unthinkable that the enemy would initiate contact, as they were the very source of catastrophe foretold in countless ancient prophecies and forbidden tomes.
"I am aware of your doubts; this task certainly appears impossible. Nevertheless, a small window of opportunity exists to turn this impossibility into reality. The 'Eclipse' I am referring to isn't the one hidden deep inside the ley lines, but rather one that is right before us."
A faint, enigmatic smile played on Leo Ray’s lips as he gave a knowing nod to the group.
"My Lord, are you speaking of the White Knight?"
Ariel Watson’s eyes shimmered with sudden realization. "Now that I think about it, the parasite bound to the White Knight matches 'Eclipse' perfectly in both its parasitic nature and the timing of its emergence!"
Having witnessed the White Knight’s true form and learned of his history, those vivid memories remained etched in Ariel Watson's mind.
"Correct, though there are slight variations, specifically regarding the color of 'Eclipse.' The entities encountered by the elder president and myself were purple, unlike the blue hue seen on the White Knight. Because of this, I never fully confirmed the life form on the White Knight as 'Eclipse,' labeling it only as a suspected case."
Leo Ray nodded slowly in affirmation. "From Old Nick's account, we know he witnessed a brown variant. This clearly suggests that 'Eclipse' is not a singular entity, but likely consists of various branches or species, making color differences quite expected."
"This only solidifies my conviction that the mysterious life form inhabiting the White Knight is indeed 'Eclipse'."
Leo Ray’s explanation brought a wave of clarity to the room.
Even though Grey Elder and the others had not seen the White Knight’s true appearance with their own eyes, they had heard Leo Ray’s previous descriptions and immediately grasped his logic.
Despite understanding the plan, a look of hesitation crossed Grey Elder’s weathered face. "Lord, if 'Eclipse' is our enemy and refuses to negotiate, what will be our next course of action?"
"Do not forget that we possess the weaponry required to face them."
Leo Ray glanced toward Little Moon at his side and replied with a smile, "While we may lack the means to fight an entire army, we are more than capable of destroying a single foe. Of course, that is the worst-case scenario."
"But My Lord, the White Knight only continues to fight at your side because of 'Eclipse'."
Ariel Watson asked with a worried expression, "If a conflict breaks out or if we are forced to eliminate them, wouldn't that result in the White Knight's death as well?"
"Rest easy, for I have already weighed that possibility. Even in the most desperate circumstances, I have ways to ensure the White Knight’s survival. He has served with great merit, and I refuse to watch him perish without acting."
Leo Ray nodded, his expression turning into a mysterious grin as he added, "As for the specifics of the plan, you shall witness them shortly."
His tone then shifted to one of serious command. "Very well, we have no time to idle. Let us begin the preparations at once."
Under the glow of the twin moons and a star-filled sky, following a period of intense planning, Leo Ray and his retinue arrived within a grand, brilliantly lit temple.
The floors and walls were etched with complex flame magic arrays that pulsed with a cold blue radiance, creating a stunning visual contrast between the essence of fire and ice.
This brilliant, chilly light bounced off hundreds, perhaps thousands, of pristine white pillars, filling the space with an aura of undeniable sanctity.
At the far end of the hall stood a multitude of expertly carved humanoid statues. They were depicted in various poses and garments—some draped in mage robes, others in heavy plate—all appearing incredibly lifelike.
The most striking among them were the sculptures wearing magnificent lion crowns, radiating an air of extreme dignity and power.
In front of these crowned figures stood monuments of merit, each carved with the history and legendary feats of those they represented.
By now, the location was obvious to all: they were in the deepest reaches of the Miracle Building within the Coldflame Royal City—the Lion King Temple.
Leo Ray stood before the altar at the temple's terminus, flanked by Ariel Watson, Grey Elder, Elder Bing, Shelly, and other masters. On either side of the altar, Xiao Jing, Little Jie, Little Moon, Little Illusion, and the various Stone Spirits stood in formation, fully armed and ready for the coming confrontation.
