A gigantic serpent plunged from the heavens above. Gasps echoed everywhere as a tremendous wave of might emanated from its form.
All of them knew exactly what creature it was—and who controlled it.
"Hold them steady!" Tsukuyomi commanded firmly, gripping the Supreme of Souls tightly and gritting his teeth.
"SHAAAAH!"
The serpent ripped apart Time, Destiny, and Souls, yanking their souls from their flesh and demolishing the mind control.
Still, their empty shells kept moving, turned into feral puppets that battled with wilder fury.
"E-Everyone?!" The Supreme of Souls cried out in shock. "W-What? What's happening— Aaahh! My body!"
"D-Damn it! I can't believe we got brainwashed! So embarrassing! And now my body's gone too?!" the Supreme of Destiny yelled.
"Haaah, it sure was a hassle," the Supreme of Time exhaled, shaking his head. "But don't forget, our essence fuses body and soul as one. These are just shells. With our strength…!"
FLASH!
"We just remake new bodies!" The Supreme of Time instantly reshaped himself—a massive dark skeleton.
His strange look drew no questions. The remaining Supremes agreed with nods and conjured their own new forms.
"Great to see you all again, girls! Skellie!" Aura chuckled with real delight.
"A-Aura?!" The Supreme of Destiny gaped in surprise. "I can't believe you saved us!"
"Hahaha! Well, everyone here helped, but Hades and his kin did the heavy lifting!" Lucifer declared. "Now… let's smash those husks—fast!"
The Supremes charged at the shells right away. Their real strength crushed the vacant puppets, wiping them out and fully ending the control.
"Flora battles Genesis. We need to rush over!" Aura pressed. "Hades, take your family with us!"
"Yes!" Hades agreed with a nod.
On the way, Hades and his kin harnessed the serpent's might, stabbing through countless brainwashed gods. They pulled souls free from godly forms.
The gods caught on fast. They rebuilt fresh bodies and quickly attacked their own shells, freeing more in a chain reaction.
At that moment, Susanoo—clashing with a huge future-human mech fusion—spotted the serpent flying by.
The galaxy-conquering mech fought hard against Susanoo's deadly edge.
Then Hades attacked. The serpent stabbed the mech, drawing out the souls of the pilots within.
Reduced to powerless souls, they vanished swiftly, unable to rebuild.
The giant mech tumbled down. Obhedhrur grabbed it during his fight with Dream Entities and devoured its core.
"Hahaha! More machine strength!"
He rocketed upward, battling the endless Sun Deities the Sun God summoned to block their path.
RUMBLE!
Meanwhile, Flora and Genesis clashed in a brutal showdown. Oceans churned wildly. Flora ruled them, yet Genesis purified them first and wielded the waters against her, skewering her with countless massive ice spears.
"Nnnggh?!"
Flora struck back hard. Huge spatial branches exploded out, wrapping Genesis and siphoning her vitality—until Genesis bellowed and burned them with white void fire. They wrestled on, sharing each other's fury and agony.
"I always hated you, Genesis! You've been such a pesky bitch! You caused my Earth's destruction!"
"I loathe you even more, Flora! You ruined everything now! If you hadn't ditched me…! If you hadn't forsaken Genesis, fighting the invaders would've been way easier!"
"Tsk! I left 'cause I didn't fit—not with you, not with anyone!"
"Just 'cause that bitch Kireina said so?! You're too gullible, Flora!"
"Shut up!"
Flora bellowed and headbutted Genesis, snapping her horns in savage collision. Flora's face cracked open too. Both groaned in pain, heaving and bleeding profusely.
"For the Sun God, I will… sacrifice my life if needed!!!"
Genesis roared, dominating Heavens, Earth, and Sea. Flora weakened, unable to pull more strength—Genesis had purified the whole area.
However.
SPLAAASH!
A towering seawater barrier rose from the distant east. Scores of massive Sea Dragons erupted, howling with ancient rage as they charged Genesis.
Leading them was a regal sea dragon humanoid—a ruler of supreme command and force.
The Dragon King of the East Sea, Ao Guang!
Beside him were his daughter and two granddaughters.
The Sea Dragon Queen of the North Sea, Gaby.
The Chaos Sea Dragon Princess of the West Sea, Valentia.
And the Holy Sea Dragon Princess of the South Sea, Aarae.
These were Kireina's wife and children, reborn into the Dragon King's lineage.
His lonely life had changed. His daughter and grandkids brought joy every day to the former sorrowful elder.
In the original timeline, he had fallen into eternal sleep, helpless against threats to seas or world.
Now vitality surged through him, encircled by a loving family.
The Dragon King of the East Sea led his Divine Sea Dragon Army, seizing back ocean rule.
Aquamarine surfaced from the depths. He had dashed ahead to alert Gaby and now rejoined the fray victorious.
"Sorry we're late!" Gaby bellowed.
"If the world faces doom, we unite to rescue it!" the Dragon King boomed.
He clasped his hands. Seawater shaped into Yin and Yang signs.
His Aura exploded with immense dragon power.
Earth's eldest dragon released his ultimate force.
"Draconic Soul Sea Heart Art – Judgement of the Seven Oceans!"
RUMBLE!
All planetary oceans rushed to that spot, merging into a seven-headed dragon. Genesis's eyes bulged—she couldn't purify this ocean. With aid from Gaby and granddaughters, the king unleashed it on her.
"D-DAMN IT!"
BOOOMMM!!!
Flora couldn't dodge the blast. She grabbed Genesis, making her take most of the hit while soaking up some herself, ceaselessly flooding and weakening her.
Flora understood her duty, but hesitation bit deep. She loathed Genesis—but could she end her?
Then suddenly, a black-and-golden serpent shot through the sky, diving into the waters.
"Hades…? Wait, everyone?!"
Flora gasped. She felt Hades inside the serpent, plus all other Supreme Gods pouring their might, boosting it to peak power.
The serpent bit down hard and speared Genesis's chest like a bolt, tearing her soul from her vast frame.
"Guuaaaaaaahhhhhhh!"
Genesis wailed in agony as her soul ripped free. Her ancient shell went mad, bashing Flora's head into the waves and escaping the Dragon King's sea verdict.
Then realization hit.
"W-What's happening?!" Genesis gasped. Her giant soul hovered; the serpent's stellar fangs just held her. "W-What is this?! My…! Ugh, brainwashed?! ME?!"
"Yeah, you dumb bitch!" the System God growled. "Look now! Your body's berserk!"
"D-Damn it!" Genesis thundered. "Release me! I'll handle it!"
"No, Genesis—we team up now!" the Supreme Goddess of Fate and Destiny stated.
"Auntie, quit being a pain and let's cooperate!" the Supreme Goddess of Souls and Reincarnation begged.
"Not the moment!" Aura barked.
"A-Aagh! Why me?! And I'm so distant from my realm! Uuugghh!" Genesis sobbed. "A-And who are you?!" she shrieked at Tsukuyomi, who laughed.
"A friend," he snickered. "Let's move!"
The serpent took in Genesis's power, turning black and white. It dove low, impaling the leftover monstrous shell and blasting it apart in a massive burst of fused forces.
BOOOMMM!!!
"Is that it now?!" Genesis gritted her teeth.
"Not yet!" Flora replied, gazing afar. "Most enemies are gone, but that vile Sun God spawns more endlessly. We must crush them and aid Kireina! Move out!"
Time pressing, all battlefield fighters banded together to smash the Sun God's infinite horde.
Meanwhile, in the broken dimensional shards of the Labyrinth of Madness, Izanami roamed until finding what Kireina tasked her with.
A shining black core throbbed with vast ancient might.
A colossal bug-dragon guardian in black armor and scales defended it.
"Intruder spotted. Guardian, destroy her."
"ROOOAAARRR!"
The Labyrinth of Madness Core freaked as the beast pounced on Izanami.
But from Izanami's flowering heart, a known voice resounded.
"Hold on, it's me! Bubu! Silva!"
"…?!"
"…!"
Both halted. Memories flooded back. They gazed at each other, grasping their actions.
"M-Mama?!" Silva wept, drifting to Izanami as a luminous orb.
"Raaaawr!" Bubu roared—cutely, despite his enormous bulk.
"Yes, me! I'm not here physically, but I need you!" Kireina's voice boomed. "Use Izanami as a gate to get to me!"
Silva and Bubu nodded eagerly. They slipped into Izanami's shadowy dark form, heading right to Kireina's soul.
