"I never imagined we would meet again under these circumstances, Genesis! And to think you would leave your Realm!" Flora bellowed, facing the enormous white-feathered, dragon-shaped cosmic being—the offspring of two Primordials, Genesis herself, the ultimate Sovereign of the world named after her. "How could you let him mind-control you?! You're the strongest being I've ever known, yet you've become someone else's puppet?! You, the most cunning schemer alive?"
"THE DIGNITY OF THE SUN CLEARLY EVADES YOUR LOWLY MINDS. BUT THAT DOES NOT MATTER."
Genesis's voice thundered across the heavens and earth. Dazzling white cosmic radiance expanded everywhere as she activated her Trait to refine the nearby space, twisting it all into an extension of her own strength.
"FLORA, AURA, SYSTEM MASTER, LUCIFER—ALL OF YOU ARE TRAITORS! BEGONE!"
Genesis unleashed her fury. Her dragon-like jaws parted wide, firing a catastrophic breath of white void beams that obliterated anything they touched.
Empowered by the Sun God's Blessing, her strength had soared to unprecedented cosmic levels, fully unlocking her innate Primordial force and eclipsing the Universal Realm.
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
Myriad blasts ripped apart Tokyo's devastated avenues. The Supreme Gods nimbly evaded her assaults while encircling her—only to face other known figures ensnared by the Sun God's mental domination.
The Supreme God of Time.
The Supreme Goddess of Souls and Reincarnation.
The Supreme Goddess of Fate and Destiny.
And the latest Supreme God—the Supreme God of the Moon, Genesis's Tsukuyomi.
Genesis's Amaterasu, now the fresh Supreme Goddess of the Sun, had been consumed entirely alongside all of Genesis's Sun, bestowing the Sun God with even more horrifying might.
"I've always wanted you all to die," proclaimed the Supreme Goddess of Fate and Destiny, her hidden thoughts exposed. She appeared as a titanic Arachne—lower body a vast golden spider crafted from starry constellations and celestial vaults, upper form a glowing golden luminescence laced with myriad threads, her locks cascading elegantly. "I shall manipulate Fate and Destiny to watch you perish!"
Her formidable Supreme Cosmic Domain emerged, ensnaring their foes in her realm. With finger snaps, she wove the Threads of Fate, compelling calamities upon them.
Suddenly, they stumbled and toppled, missed dodging Genesis's strikes, sensed their abilities waver briefly, and suffered vertigo or crushing sleepiness.
"For the Sun God… I must do anything I can…" The Supreme Goddess of Souls and Reincarnation extended her limbs. A colossal Wheel of Reincarnation materialized, releasing billions of souls that reborn as mighty Cosmic Soul Spirits attacking all while inflicting ceaseless soul wounds. Her Domain merged with Fate's, eroding foes' souls to leave them open to lethal damage and block any healing.
"Time is of the essence… and I shall dictate it," murmured the Supreme of Time. He flourished his bony hands, deploying his Domain over the field and halting time for adversaries as assaults hammered them from all sides.
Flora, the System Master, Aura, and Lucifer found themselves rapidly cornered. Helpless against the trio of Supremes' manipulations and Genesis's relentless void beams, she halted momentarily before gathering an even mightier blast to eradicate them utterly.
"D-Damn it! These tricky bastards!" Aura grunted.
"This is ridiculous! How strong are they?!" Flora exclaimed.
"They've grown much stronger thanks to the Sun God's blessing!" the System Master noted.
"Hmm." Lucifer surveyed the area and summoned innumerable hands inside Hell.
With Hell devoid of Archdemons, his dominion over the Dimension was total. He swiftly maneuvered it to their position.
At the same time, Flora caught that voice again.
"Please… for my planet… let me help you… become my vessel… and I shall grant you… the unlimited power of this world… and the Heavenly Domain Tree…"
"…!"
Flora immediately knew who spoke: the Soul of Earth, pleading for her to serve as its vessel.
This agreement held numerous dangers and uncertainties. Initially, Flora had rejected the notion.
Yet now, options had vanished.
"Fine! So be it!"
"…Thank you."
As the bond formed, Genesis cackled insanely. Her maw gaped open, releasing her hyper-charged assault—potent enough to vaporize hundreds of galaxies.
Were this world not an extraordinarily durable cosmic sphere, these barrages would have shattered it ages ago.
TRUUUUM!
The beam slammed into the Supreme Gods. Resistance proved futile against twisted Fate and Destiny, relentless Time, and tormented Souls. They buckled.
"PERISH, YOU NUISANCES!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Genesis howled in madness, stripped of restraint by the Sun God's control. Her strike engulfed the Supremes in searing brilliance, poised to wipe them from reality.
BOOOMMM!!!
In that instant, defenseless and countering in vain, the Supreme Gods resigned to doom. Death loomed here—shamefully, with Kireina occupied against a vaster horror.
And yet…
FLASH!
The blast dissipated, swallowed by a soaring column of radiant golden light bursting from the planet's heart. Amazed and stunned, the Gods beheld Flora hovering inside, absorbing boundless cosmic vitality.
"F-Flora?!" Aura gasped, awed by her surging aura.
"I am no longer just Flora. I am Mother Earth herself—I have become the vessel for this Cosmic Planet's Soul!" Flora thundered. "And I shall wield her power—the Heavenly Domain Tree—to end this war and protect the planet!" Her tone fused with a timeless echo.
"No way… that's just insane!" The System God sensed envy stir.
"Fufu, go for it, Flora!" Lucifer encouraged. "I have something else I'm preparing, but I need a bit more time!"
"VERY WELL!"
Flora surged ahead. Fueled by the planet's essence, she exuded unmatched potency. The Supremes of Time, Destiny, and Souls attempted to block her, but she battered them away with enormous fists of timber and rock sprouting from her form. She expanded vastly to rival Genesis's immensity.
"Eternal Blooming Nature Soul – Primordial Fists of the Earth."
BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM!
The trio of Supremes were swiftly overpowered. Gaping wounds pierced their colossal bodies; Domains fractured into shards and dispersed. Not wholly vanquished, but diminished for Aura and the System Master to manage.
"I'll leave those three to you! I have someone I need to talk to!"
Flora barreled toward Genesis. The massive Primordial dragon-form bellowed back, jaws parting for another void beam onslaught.
"FLORA! WHATEVER POWER YOU HAVE IS USELESS AGAINST MY WRATH! FOR I AM THE WORLD YOU'VE LIVED IN FOR MILLIONS OF YEARS!"
Genesis fumed. Her beams collided with Flora explosively—but she advanced undeterred, swelling larger to equal Genesis's stature.
"ENOUGH!"
A savage swipe sent Genesis's skull crashing into the streets below. The impact leveled half the metropolis into rubble heaps.
BOOOM!
"Nnnggh…! H-How dare you…! Harm your ruler…!" Genesis growled, eyes igniting with rage. Tiny tears trickled from some—the agony novel and enraging.
"You are not my ruler anymore, Genesis!" Flora bellowed. "I've always wanted to slap you, by the way. But it doesn't feel satisfying when you're just a stupid puppet enslaved by that sun god! Wake up, imbecile!"
Flora booted her flying. Genesis's colossal frame tumbled through the urban sprawl, slamming into the brainwashed Netherworld Ruler's vessel, Hades—pulverizing half his form while her white aura seared him.
"DEATH! DEAAAAATH!"
The hideous vessel howled and charged Flora—met by her eight wooden-stone arms crushing it down.
Zagreus and his allies, arrived to halt his father's frenzy, observed Flora debilitating him for their sake.
"This man is not my enemy, but I will help you regardless, young ones."
"Eternal Blooming Nature Soul – Divine Stakes of Primordial Life."
Cosmic wooden stakes from the Heavenly Domain Tree appeared, cascading to impale the gigantic Undead Horror and lock away most of its Primordial abilities. The lethal nether mist confining Zagreus's team faded away.
"T-Thank you, great supreme goddess!"
"Save your father, Zagreus. And his auntie for you."
"A-Auntie…!"
Flora had long shared amicable bonds with Hades. Despite clashing domains, she often pressed him toward Supreme God of Death status, which he rebuffed. She had seen Zagreus and his sibling mature and befriended their mother, Persephone—a Spring and Nature Goddess, among her numerous offspring.
"Persephone, I know you're resting, but it's time to wake up your husband!"
Her call roused Persephone—from slumber in Zagreus's Divine Realm. Empowered by her mother's potent boon, she emerged brimming with vigor.
"Yes, mother! I will!"
"Good."
Flora eyed Genesis's gradual revival. She lunged once more, hammering blows without mercy and shoving her into the sea.
SPLASH!
Zagreus gaped at Flora and Genesis grappling. Far off, the Supreme of Star Ocean, Space, and the System clashed with the Supremes of Time, Destiny, and Souls.
Never had he envisioned such a clash.
But wait—where was the Supreme of the Moon?
Below.
"Nnngghh…!"
"You think you're better than me?!"
Earth's Tsukuyomi pummeled his alternate counterpart savagely. Though evenly matched in savagery, Earth's Tsukuyomi—unleashing full force—held the edge!
"The Sun is…! I must…!"
Genesis's Tsukuyomi persisted in sun adoration, a paradox sapping his lunar essence. The Sun God overlooked this weakness.
"You're my own parallel self and yet you worship the sun?! Fool!"
Earth's Tsukuyomi assailed without pause. Genesis's version evaded constantly. The Moon Gods collided with primal ferocity; their Moons arose in Divine Domains.
Genesis's Tsukuyomi ought to dominate—harnessing Genesis's Moon, the universe's grandest, dwarfing clustered stars.
However, solar loyalty blocked its complete harnessing. Such strength lay squandered.
"Moonlight Judgement! Shining Eclipsing Moon Blade!"
Earth's Tsukuyomi expended all. A moonlight mirror blade formed in his grasp, cleaving Genesis's Tsukuyomi. It ravaged his soul profoundly, detaching it from flesh. Brainwashing crumbled.
"Kuaaaghh?!"
Genesis's Tsukuyomi shrieked, spewing blood. He crumpled, soul-only and tormented—stricken with remorse upon awakening to his deeds.
"T-The Sun God! He brainwashed everyone…! Y-You…! Please help us…! She ate Amaterasu…! Ahhh…! She… she was the woman I loved…"
"So in that universe you aren't siblings… I see." Earth's Tsukuyomi grinned wryly, concurring. "I also loved my sister."
"I feel so powerless… Anything I try never gets me anywhere… I am weak and manipulable, a tool… I've always been a tool…" Genesis's Tsukuyomi sobbed.
"Not anymore," Earth's Tsukuyomi declared. "Come. Join me. Parallel selves can become one in this world—just as it happened to Kireina and many others."
