Endless Evolution: Last Star Chapter 1799: New Way

Adam and Silvana had a lot to discuss, as they had plenty to talk about after their visit to the Morton Observatory.
They needed to figure out where they were now, what was happening in the world, and what Aiden really wanted.
Sure, they couldn’t find all the answers just by thinking it through, but they did manage to figure out a few things.
For now, Adam and Silvana were resting at home.
Aiden had said that when everything was ready, he would contact them, so they were waiting for that moment.
Adam saw no point in training or taking on some easy mission. He had done enough in the past and now possessed enough strength to fight on equal terms, even against a Baron.
All Adam cared about right now was how to obtain the Bottomless Void.
Over the past few days, he had tried countless times to activate the Winding Fragments. Unfortunately, in his case, this method had only worked once for the Highest Bliss.
"Agh... This is really bad, right?" Adam sighed heavily as he lay on the couch, staring at the ceiling.
The last time he couldn’t use the Winding Fragments, he’d decided the problem was specifically with his current condition. But that wasn’t quite right.
The Winding Fragments simply couldn’t tell him where the Blood of God was.
A K4-Phantom like him didn’t have enough influence to detect the Blood of Queen Elisa. The difference in their levels was still overwhelming.
For Adam, this meant that the Bottomless Void was no less special and complex a condition than the Blood of God, and perhaps obtaining it would prove to be an obstacle Adam had never faced before.
"Huh, you know, this is actually a little scary. What if it’s true?" Adam glanced at Silvana, who was sitting at the table reading something on her tablet. "What if the Bottomless Void isn’t my next condition, but my most difficult one?"
Silvana turned to him.
"Do you think that’s possible? You know, I still can’t believe that one of your conditions turned out to be the blood of Queen Elisa. It’s not just that she’s a queen, but also that at that time there were only three vials in the world, and only two remained. It’s incredibly rare."
However, Adam wasn’t about to let his guard down as a bitter smile appeared on his face.
"Still, for the Blood of God, I didn’t need to go anywhere. The fact that I ended up in the Hollow Lands was because of Gladius and Xyrea. It turned out to be beneficial for me, but still, in theory, I could have obtained the Blood of God here, at the Citadel."
Silvana wanted to say something, but Adam beat her to it. He stretched his hand out as if trying to reach something very far away.
"The Gray Sea... Potentially, this could turn out to be the most dangerous place I’ve ever been. What’s more, this is the first time I know nothing about my condition."
"Hmm?" Silvana raised an eyebrow, confused. "What do you mean?"
"Think about it yourself. I knew where the Highest Bliss was. I came to the Primal Lands to find it. Sure, at first I thought I was after the Blood of God, but that’s not so important. The Blood of God was harder to obtain, but when Gladius and Xyrea arrived, everything fell into place.
"Moreover, we’ve discussed this several times. We assumed the Blood of God might be the blood of some powerful being. We just couldn’t have imagined it would turn out to be Queen Elisa, since our options only included monsters."
Gradually, Silvana’s expression grew darker as Adam continued.
"But the Bottomless Void? Even Gladius and Aiden don’t know what that is. All they could tell us is that I might be able to fulfill that condition at the Gray Sea. And now... since we’re talking about the sea, maybe I’ll actually have to go to some kind of bottom?"
Silvana turned away as she bit her lip. She knew that creating the Third Grand Star wouldn’t be easy, but now everything had become much more complicated.
"Damn, looks like you’re right."
Tap.
Adam got up from the couch as he approached Silvana from behind.
"You know, we’ll have to split up again, right?"
Silvana felt his hand on her shoulder.
"You didn’t have to remind me of that. Anyway, the Hollow Lands were an exception. As long as I can connect to your inner space and talk to you, it’s not a problem."
Ding!
At that very moment, the sound of the elevator arriving rang out as the doors opened.
Adam and Silvana weren’t surprised. They’d expected someone to come for them very soon. So, they just slowly turned toward the hallway.
Two figures met them. Sano and Natta stepped forward.
"Well, well, so Aiden decided to send the two of you after all?" Silvana snorted.
Sano shrugged.
"Maybe it was a shame during our fight, but we always do our job. If Aiden tells us to do something, we do it. That’s it. That’s our deal."
Adam smirked. "I hope you didn’t come for a rematch? I’m not ready to turn my home into a battlefield."
Sano narrowed her eyes, staring intently at Adam.
"Actually, I wouldn’t mind. Maybe not right in the center of the First Ring, but anywhere else I’d gladly fight you again."
Natta stepped forward. "However, we’re here for another reason. Aiden is ready to discuss a plan with you. You already know you’ll have to travel through the Tarnished Lands to reach the Gray Sea. Aiden wants to tell you all the details."
"Agh, back to the Morton Observatory again. You know, it’s not the most pleasant place." Adam shook his head and headed toward the exit.
However, he was mistaken about one thing.
"No. We’re going somewhere else." Sano’s stern voice rang out.
"Hmm?" Adam looked at them.
Natta stared intently at him.
"Aiden is waiting for you at the Void Transit. I wouldn’t advise keeping him waiting."
