Adam’s piercing ability was tested against Zin's incredibly sharp sound blade, which sliced through the arena and surrounding walls. Kaerno intervened just in time, using invisible jaws to shield the spectators from the blade's destructive path before it finally dissipated. Adam, wounded but alive, faced the consequences of his fight spilling beyond the ring, while Zin's objective seemed to be within reach.

Although rare, sometimes spectators in the arena found themselves in peril. This was occasionally due to insufficient or entirely lacking safety precautions. More often, however, the cause was different: the two combatants possessed power exceeding the prepared protective measures.

There were possibly no more than three Fangs within the Hollow Lands capable of breaching Leerna's arena barrier.

Zin achieved this feat, and for everyone except the terrified onlookers, it was welcome news.

The Thorns exchanged glances, satisfied smirks gracing their lips. They sensed the conclusion of the fight was near, and instead of a dull, drawn-out finale, they anticipated witnessing Zin's full capabilities. This was immensely valuable.

The disruption involving the destroyed spectator stands garnered significant attention, but very quickly, all eyes redirected to what truly mattered to Adam.

Drip. Drip. Drip.

Blood actively flowed down his left arm. The gash on his shoulder was so profound and wide that his bones and musculature were exposed.

Had Adam faltered even for an instant, the sound blade would have severed a third of his torso, thereby ending his combat.

The spectators, particularly those who had wagered on Adam, held their breath.

"No way, how... You can't possibly fight with such a wound!" The young girl's voice quivered as she covered her mouth.

The man beside him tightened his jaw. "Rgh, it seems it's over. With an injury like that, any abrupt movement will tear off his shoulder and arm."

"Indeed," his companion concurred. "Even disregarding the pain and damage, he'll succumb to blood loss in this condition. Tsk, who would have guessed it would all culminate in a single gash?"

Zin appeared to be the sole individual not yet grasping the severity of the situation. He required the duel to persist. Only then could he discern the flow of Queen Elisa's blood.

Thump. Thump. Thump.

Zin's heart pounded as he observed the blood drenching Adam's shoulder, failing to grasp the gravity of the injury.

'Come on, Adam! We must press on!' Zin urged internally. 'I can practically hear it!'

Step.

Zin advanced, his eyes widening in disbelief.

'Agh? Why isn't he moving?'

It was only then that he comprehended Adam was unprepared for further engagement. His breathing was slow and strained, as if his body was prioritizing survival above all else.

If Zin's sole objective had been victory, this would have been advantageous. However, he sought something more from Adam.

'No! You must continue fighting!'

A sense of panic began to swell within Zin as a brilliant light flashed before his eyes.

White threads emerged from Adam's back. He was on the verge of deploying the End Bliss.

The graver the predicament, the more extreme the measures.

Adam had previously been compelled to modify the End Bliss once for survival. Without that alteration, he would have stood no chance against the Dark Knight.

Now, the moment had arrived to bend his ability once more for the sake of survival.

"Adam…" Lone Blaze's voice wavered as she witnessed the unfolding events from within his consciousness. 'It matters not what form you assume. If you unleash the full might of my threads now, your physical form will be unable to endure it!'

He heard her words distinctly, yet Adam showed no intention of ceasing.

Whoooooosh!

The white threads surged outward in a powerful torrent, but for reasons unknown, no black or amber threads were present.

The threads made no haste to form wings. They lingered in the air as Adam looked upward, fixing his intense gaze upon Zin.

This was ample for Zin. The corners of his mouth upturned, with only a brief period of waiting remaining.

With a swift action, all the threads curved and directed themselves towards Adam's shoulder, penetrating the edges and, as if manipulated by a skilled surgeon, mending his grievous wound.

A surge of pain crossed Adam's features, causing his muscles to convulse, but this was infinitely preferable to succumbing right then and there.

Sckl!

The final thread pierced his skin, then passed through all the preceding threads in one decisive line, securing the entire suture.

Nearly fifty threads, woven into a single silver strand, now stretched across Adam's shoulder, creating the impression that the deep laceration had never existed.

"Adam." Zin moved forward, extending his solitary hand. "You are prepared to proceed, are you not?"

Before responding, Adam glanced at his shoulder. The bleeding had been halted, and the immediate danger of his shoulder tearing had been averted, but this did not negate the repercussions.

The world before him swirled, and a creeping darkness encroached from the periphery, beckoning him towards a profound slumber of recuperation.

'No.' Adam's hands formed into tight fists. 'I have to keep fighting! If I am defeated by Zin, the Blood of God will consume me from within!'

Ironically, a victory over the other was not what Adam or Zin truly sought. Their mutual desire stemmed from something contained within Adam's internal space: the blood.

This very reason was why Zin decided he could wait no longer. He was nearing his objective, and while Adam could still resist, Zin needed to hear the blood of Queen Elisa begin to flow.

A smirk played on Zin's lips as he spread his fingers wide.

With a decisive movement, he struck his own chest, and a sharp crack reverberated throughout the arena.

Before Adam could even register what was happening, a menacing shadow loomed over him.

CRACK!

Zin's fist connected squarely with Adam's jaw, sending a geyser of blood erupting from his mouth.

The world became a blur around Adam as his body was slammed back, his spine meeting the cold, hard ground.

Empowered by his weapon, Zin had gained incredible speed. Now, even his simplest punch carried the force of multiple sonic booms.

"Come on, Adam! Fight! Otherwise, only I will achieve my goal between the two of us!"

BAM!

Zin's fist struck Adam once more, unleashing a sonic blast that drove his head further into the earth.

With each impact, blood poured forth. Zin saw no reason to cease his assault, as he was drawing ever closer to his ultimate aim.

Despite the difficulty, his ears began to discern the unique pulse hidden deep within Adam's blood.

'More! I only need a little more!' Zin thought to himself, a surge of eagerness building within him.

Adam attempted to defend himself, but it felt as futile as trying to stop a colossal sledgehammer with a mere hand.

Soon enough, a dark haze obscured Adam's vision, leaving him with only the sight of blood splatter erupting in every direction.

"Agh…?" He blinked, his perception slowly clearing, and realized that neither Zin nor the surrounding arena was visible anymore.

What now faced him was a vast emptiness, and at its center, a pulsing bubble of blood hovered, seemingly on the verge of shattering at any moment.
