Adam's growing fame shocks Vyora and Loargh from the rival Dome Eclipse faction, who recognize his exploits and survival against the Befallen Crown. Tensions ease as they propose teaming up to defeat the Frenzied Shard's remaining servants, followed by a 2v2 duel for the shard itself. Sarka demands to crush Vyora personally but agrees to the rules, just as the regenerating second servant unleashes a deafening roar.

After invoking a blazing meteorite, Vyora and Loargh landed on the battlefield. The catastrophic blast from the impact made Adam think the second servant had been obliterated.

A chat with their fresh allies distracted him—these partners were destined to soon rival them for control of the Frenzied Shard.

This interval allowed the second servant to mend its injuries sufficiently to resume battling.

"Damn it!" Vyora swore, glaring fixedly at the massive, carnivorous blossom. "I struck with all my power! That ought to scorch a miserable flower like that?"

Adam blinked, giving a faint nod.

'That meteorite was hers? Huh, I figured it came from Loargh. So Vyora wields fire like Sarka, yet their flames have distinct traits? What's your specialty, Loargh?'

"Well, this being the second servant is actually good news for us," Loargh remarked steadily.

"Hmm?" Adam looked puzzled. "Why?"

Loargh gestured dismissively.

"The mightier the servant, the more potent the Frenzied Shard. I can't speak for you, Adam Vinter, but absorbing a Frenzied Shard poses no issue for us three—we've succeeded before, earning our Hollow Marks that way."

'Got it.'

Adam squinted, scanning their forms intently.

"Are you like Sarka? Both Fangs?"

Loargh grinned slyly.

"Naturally. We beat every servant and claimed a Frenzied Shard pre-Hollow Marks, so this time it'll be a breeze!"

RRRRRHHHHSSSSOOOO!!!

A shrill cry from the second servant grabbed their focus. Vyora's fire lingered only as faint embers, vanishing fast, as living roots emerged one after another from the earth under their leader's order.

"Enough chatter. Let's finish this, then talk."

Instantly, white light enveloped Loargh's frame, morphing him into a dazzling white streak.

With blistering velocity, he charged directly at the second servant, bypassing the living roots. He left those frail, swarming foes for others.

"Hey, care to assist?" Vyora asked Sarka. She floated motionless, crimson flames wreathing her hands.

"Pfffft!" Sarka scoffed arrogantly. "I could crush them solo, but since you're requesting, fine—I'll demonstrate properly!"

Before Vyora replied, azure flames erupted from Sarka's feet, propelling her ahead. Her sheer might let her pulverize the living roots effortlessly.

Unlike Vyora's all-consuming blaze, Sarka's flame embodied her strength—the fiercer it raged, the more powerful she grew.

Tremble. Tremble. Tremble.

Vibrations shook the air as runes materialized over Vyora.

Click.

She flicked her finger, igniting one rune. Simultaneously, the soil amid the living roots grew scorching hot.

Grh?

The living roots glanced at each other. As mere underlings, they possessed scant wits, driven by raw instinct.

Thus, detecting danger, they frantically dispersed to flee, but too late.

A colossal fire pillar erupted skyward, charring the five closest living roots and badly scorching the rest nearby.

"Tsk. I could've nabbed two extras!" Vyora gnawed her lip. As a Dome Eclipse member, she demanded flawlessness.

Unlike Sarka and blade-pillar beasts who sharpened skills in combat, she drilled relentlessly at her pillar. In battle, she tolerated no less than impeccable performance.

Adam alone hadn't engaged yet. He eyed his needle, then the second servant—where Loargh battled solo.

Whooosh! Whoooosh! Whoooosh!

In white blurs, he hammered the colossal flower repeatedly, rupturing veins and mangling its bulk. Yet, despite his swiftness, the second servant kept regenerating.

Adam could dive in or hold off till Vyora and Sarka cleared the roots. Their aid to Loargh would seal the servant's doom.

'With everything lately, I totally overlooked testing this.'

Tap.

Adam let go of his needle, which fragmented apart. The Silver Weaver in his inner realm arched a brow, unclear on Adam's plan.

Step. Step. Step.

Adam shifted sideways a bit, positioning the second servant squarely before him.

'We might be worlds apart, unable to touch, but it grates on me—still, we share power, right?'

Tremble. Tremble. Tremble.

Space before Adam quivered as enormous glass scissors manifested overhead.

Usually, spectral Silvana would appear beside him with smaller scissors, but post-upgrade, things had evolved.

Silvana's Imaginary Cut revision not only birthed a fresh variant but boosted the original. Adam and Silvana now brimmed with far greater might.

Click.

The phantom scissors activated with a crisp snap.

Sarka, Vyora, and Loargh all whipped their heads toward Adam.

Adam's eyes held no doubt as he swept his arm, shooting Loargh a final look—enough warning to evade.

Loargh swallowed hard, veering sharply off course.

Then, a violet-tinged invisible slash tore across the field. For an instant, he glimpsed his image in it. Its velocity stunned even him.

Unhindered, the slash carved through countless defensive vines from the giant flower, then clove into the loyal Frenzied Shard guardian.

In a flash, the spectral blade bisected the second servant.

This time, no recovery for it.
