Endless Debt Chapter 1613 - 112: Winds Rising (Part 3)
Previously on Endless Debt...
Once inside the Ethereal Realm, Bologue will inevitably face the Night King in his prime, the Devils in their true forms, and the eerie presence of tar-like creatures. Yet similarly, within the Ethereal Realm, Bologue’s Power of Light Burning will also be fully unleashed.
"So our priority target is still to destroy the Dark Iron Curtain."
Bologue sighed softly, "Even if the Night King has become this world’s Calamity, the Blood of the Night Race still flows in his veins. Sunlight and Silverware are still deadly to him."
Serey said, "Naturally, they are aware of this. Hence, our target, that Origin Tower, will be heavily guarded."
Palmer interjected, "Why does it sound like the infiltration is turning into a direct assault?"
"With our limited power, are you sure a direct assault is feasible?"
At this time, Hinda began to have doubts as well, "The only high-level force we have is Bologue, and this Night Race Lord... he won’t be able to do anything for a long time."
Serey’s expression became awkward. Hinda was right; the closer they got to the Royal City, the closer they were to the Night King. Once Serey released his power, the connection between the Night Race bloodlines would allow the Night King to immediately discover Serey’s location.
Considering what Serey had done in the past, the moment he was exposed, he would become the target of everyone’s aggression. The subsequent actions would be far from a direct assault; it would be more akin to a death race.
Serey only has one opportunity to make his move. Once he is exposed, it will signal the peak of the battle and an irretrievable, all-out conflict.
"I know, but you must understand, we are not the only ones striving right now."
Bologue reassured Hinda, his gaze then falling into the distance.
As the Ether gradually intensified, the scars in the heaven’s curtain grew larger and larger, with gusts of biting wind howling from the wounds. They mercilessly swept across the land, lifting debris and ashes high into the sky.
The Bloodthirsty army began to move to the sound of the horns, advancing towards the edges of the Royal City. Within the Night Race’s calculations, that would be the landing site of the Song of Wind Fall.
Apart from the Bloodthirsty ones, a large number of elite Night Race defenders stationed within the Royal City were also mobilized, awaiting the moment to confront the enemy’s main forces.
The Regent King stood at the wall’s edge, clutching the writhing Shadow Blade, squinting eyes toward the rising wind’s direction.
"What a grand operation."
The Regent King sighed, having contemplated Fuen’s potential actions, but not having expected Fuen to launch such a grand assault so swiftly.
The storm was slowly tearing apart the Angry Sea’s barrier, with towering Ether reactions emerging amidst the rolling waves.
From within that supreme power, the Regent King sensed a familiar Ether reaction; he remembered the visitor’s name.
"Holt?"
Flexing his shoulders, the Regent King recalled the person he had dueled with in the Abandoned Land, and unexpectedly, the second duel between them was about to begin so soon.
Trick appeared beside the Regent King and asked cautiously, "Will you confront them personally?"
"Of course, they’re targeting me."
After speaking, the Regent King reminded once more, "Based on my understanding of the Order Bureau, they definitely wouldn’t prepare only one wave of attack. There’s a chance the enemy has already infiltrated within the Royal City."
Trick’s expression immediately became tense, "I..."
"Don’t overthink it, just guard the Origin Tower," the Regent King advised, "It’s the only valuable and most significant target within the Royal City."
Within his body, the Ether gradually intensified, as the Regent King issued his final command.
"Release those monsters from the dungeon."
