Bologne uses Ethereal Siphon to draw vast amounts of ether into his body, risking the collapse of his Alchemy Matrix. Though Aimou tries to stop him, Bologne pushes forward, managing to replenish his ether at a great cost to his physical well-being. He then transforms his body, creating wings of Iron Feathers, and dives into the dark clouds below to continue the fight.

Bologue adjusted his posture, speeding through the chaos. In this environment, he could see nothing but dark clouds and thunder. But as long as he closed his eyes, Bologue could feel intense ether reactions weaving through the clouds, like pythons in a jungle, intertwining and fighting each other.

"Right ahead!"

As Bologue moved, Aimou used his exceptional ethereal perception abilities like a radar, helping Bologue search for the target.

"I see it!"

His wings suddenly spread wide, making full contact with the airflow, forcefully slowing Bologue down. Amid the violent tremors, countless feathers shattered and fell, transforming into the familiar rhombus shields surrounding Bologue. They ejected one by one, forming footholds in midair, allowing Bologue to leap swiftly between them like an antelope.

With ethereal amplification at the extreme realm, Bologue’s speed increased as he plunged deep into the dark clouds.

As the ether burned wantonly, Bologue noticed that his consumption of ether was much faster than usual. Upon careful perception, Bologue discovered the issue.

After forcibly ingesting ether, his alchemy matrix developed numerous fissures, its integrity broken, losing the restraint over the unconverted ether. This meant that even without burning ether, it would leak out from the fissures in the alchemy matrix.

Rather than granting Bologue a second chance, the ethereal siphon was more like a dying flashback before his demise.

Even a dying flashback was enough. Bologue charged through torrential rain and thunder, the howling gale and the power of the Seeker of Glory close at hand. He had stepped into the core of the dark iron curtain battlefield.

No need to visually confirm the exact target; Bologue merely sensed the surging ether and the faint blood aura to distinguish friend from foe.

"I’ve found you!"

A furious roar came from the heavens. The night race suspended in the high sky looked up in confusion, only to see a blurry figure speeding towards them from above, descending alongside a torrential downpour.

The first wail came from the night race closest to Bologue. He saw Bologue’s arrival and the pouring rain falling from the clouds, lightning reflecting off the raindrops, casting dazzling, brilliant light that scintillated.

Just as the night race wondered why Bologue could appear silently above them, the first raindrop fell on his body, like strong acid corroding flesh, sharp pain radiating from the contact point. The night race watched in horror as his skin was burned with a black, gaping hole, and the raindrops were transformed into sharp needles, piercing through his entire arm.

This was not raindrops, but deadly rain needles.

As the night race realized all this, the sweeping metal rain easily shattered his body into dust, with death metal and silver ruthlessly exterminating the blood of the night race.

Rising wails echoed. The night race suspended in the high sky, maintaining the ritual, fell like dying birds, crashing into the boundless earth below.

The night race sensed the danger but could do nothing. To maintain the dark iron curtain ritual, they were specifically advanced members of the night race, whose secret energy could only keep them afloat in the sky.

The bloody rain curtain swept through, leaving few night race members within the clouds. The surrounding frenzied powers paused briefly, hinting at a tendency to collapse.

Below the sky ritual platform, the Seeker of Glory night race being entangled with Fuen and Holt, Severin, looked up. He sensed the collapse of the ritual. Severin couldn’t understand why the ritual collapsed even though he had done his best to hold back the two Seekers of Glory.

Severin saw it.

Within the clouds, Bologue plummeted like a meteor, crashing precisely into him. Severin decisively raised his blade. After the clear clang of metal, the sharp edge hovered above Severin’s head, just millimeters from his scarlet pupils.

"Hello there!"

Bologue cheered, gripping the blade tightly, maintaining his thrusting motion. His rhombus shield deformed and extended, transforming into dense thorns entangling Severin. Meanwhile, a tempest full of ether surged towards Severin.

It was an assault from Fuen, unleashing all his power to ensure a critical blow to Severin. Severin realized he had included Bologue within his attack range as well.

"Damn it!"

Severin’s eyes flickered with brilliance, his body writhing strangely. Bologue felt the pressure on the blade lighten. Severin’s entire body suddenly collapsed into a mass of unpredictable air currents, swiftly dissipating from Bologue’s side before reforming in the distance into a complete body.

Without support, Bologue fell again, but this time an invisible cyclone caught him steadily. After a series of whistling echoes, Fuen appeared at Bologue’s side.

Fuen looked surprised, "What are you doing here?"

"It’s a long story."

Bologue was unsure how to explain his recent bizarre experience. He had to admit the sensation of free fall was truly unpleasant.

"Another Seeker of Glory who can appear outside the Land of Eternal Night," Bologue gazed at the figure above, "He must be from the same era as the Regent King, right?"
