Hill reveals his transformed Ether Realm, an overlap point between dimensions. He shows Saqin the Initial Scroll, the artifact through which he became King Solomon. Hill explains his plan to escape the Devils' harvesting by creating a new world for souls, and intends to use the baby as a vessel for this "New World."

"Then after he comes back to life... who is he? Is it that soul, or a newborn existence?"

"Humans don’t possess souls," Hill said, "For us, a soul is more like a special and precious product of the Ether’s distortion, which is why the Devil is so obsessed with it."

"So that means it’s not the soul that truly governs us, but the heart."

Hill reached out and touched his chest, then placed his fingers on the baby’s heart, "Consciousness, personality, self, in my view, these are things slowly formed according to a person’s total experiences, while the soul records all this... Now that soul carries the records of the Otherworld, and combined together, might ignite a spark to awaken the ’heart’ and bring him back to life."

"What is your decision?"

Faced with Hill’s questioning, Saqin didn’t know how to respond, as this series of dialogues completely disrupted his expected script, and at the same time, a strong sense of unease was triggered in his heart, manifesting.

"Isn’t this too coincidental, Hill," Saqin stared at him, his gaze wandering between Hill’s face and the baby in his arms repeatedly, "You’ve disappeared for so long, and now suddenly appear to tell me these things."

Hill shook his head coldly, "I could completely use other Soulless."

A wild laughter erupted from the side, but only Hill could hear it. Similarly, only Hill could see the Devil who walked over slowly, holding a cane, maintaining the elegant posture, just like when Hill first met him.

"You’re really suitable to be a Devil, Hill," the Devil praised him, "lying fluently and without changing expression."

Hill ignored him as if he couldn’t see him, and the Devil was not annoyed. He just bowed his head, gently stroking the baby’s forehead, and whispered softly.

"A perfect vessel, a vessel to break free from the cage."

"No... no, this can’t happen," Saqin suddenly shook his head, cursing, "Hill, you bastard, you’re the one breaking ethical laws, cold-blooded to the extreme!"

Hill didn’t argue, instead looking at Suzi, "I can bring him back to life, do you want to try?"

Suzi didn’t respond, for the first time letting go of Saqin’s hand, walking toward Hill with open arms, Hill didn’t resist, handing the baby back to Suzi’s embrace.

"Does he have a name?"

Hill asked, immersed in his research for too long, and he hadn’t attended Saqin’s wedding, nor witnessed the baby’s birth.

"Yes, it’s a special name, just like Wolfgang Gold," Suzi whispered as she gently rocked him, occasionally humming a song.

Suzi said and couldn’t help but laugh, "The name I came up with, a random line struck on the typewriter, the surname derived from the name deciphered on the Initial Scroll."

Hill immediately guessed the name, "The first resurrected person?"

Suzi laughed and nodded, then her smile froze and shattered.

A roaring Ether reaction erupted from one side of the space, followed by space shattering, Curved Pathway Rifts blooming one by one, a pure white bloated creature, like a maggot, crawled in through the Curved Pathway Rift, its terrifying breath rapidly rising and spreading.

Its face had no features, only a gaping orifice, throat covered with circles of blade-like teeth, emitting a series of piercing screams, as most of its body squeezed in, numerous equally pale arms also reached out from behind the Curved Pathway Rift.

Countless hands pressed against the edges of the Curved Pathway Rift, forcibly tearing it open and widening it, revealing more of the body, only to see numerous wailing figures attached to the maggot’s surface, as if they had grown together, their limbs twisting randomly.

Crazy, almost surpassing the power of the Seeker of Glory, erupted from this creature, the chaotic airflow mercilessly lashing everything along the way.

Suzi screamed, rolling on the ground with the baby in her arms, Saqin pounced over, barely protecting her.

In an instant, it felt as if the apocalypse was approaching, everything in view crumbling, except for that still-standing slate, and Hill facing the creature directly.

"Mammon?"

Hill heard the gasp of the Devil beside him, and through him, Hill assessed the identity of the new arrival.

Calamity of this world, Throat of the Abyss.
