Endless Debt Chapter 1327 - 100: Furious Sanctuary_4
Previously on Endless Debt...
They are the residents of Gray Stone Town...
York spent almost his entire life in this small town. Many watched York grow up, and likewise, York watched many people grow as well, but now they are all dead, perished on this absurd day.
Suddenly.
York couldn’t understand why this was happening. He was a devout priest, did good deeds. If this were indeed punishment from fate, at least let York know what he did wrong, that way he would be more at peace.
Perhaps this is reality, the unreasonable reality.
"No..."
Amidst the dense gnawing sounds of the zombies, a faint yet steadfast voice arose.
"No... no, no, no, something must have gone wrong with this world."
A blood-soaked thorn pierced through the horde, followed by more thorns, one after another, like a spear formation.
"Yes... something must be wrong."
In York’s murmured self-talk, a blazing stream of fire rushed in, accurately hitting York within the zombie horde, instantly causing a massive explosion among the zombies, charred bodies scattered everywhere.
"What is that?" Amidst the swirling smoke, a fanatic walked in slowly.
"A Condenser," another fanatic said, extinguishing the flame in his hand, "It’s strange, a Condenser can hold on for so long."
He had seen the wildly dancing thorn thickets from afar, thinking it was a battle involving a Negative Power User, but the closer he got, the clearer the ether reaction became, realizing it was only a Condenser.
"Really strange..."
He wanted to say more, but suddenly, words stopped. Another person looked at him, only to see a thin thorn pierce through his skull, crawling like a maggot between his bones, piercing through the eyeball, drilling out from the eye socket then burying into the throat.
The body was dragged into the explosion pit, followed by a shattered figure slowly rising from the smoke. It was York, but now only half of him remained. A horrific large hole was in his chest, perfectly piercing his heart, yet York did not die. Where the heart was missing, a tangle of thorns entwined, like a substitute.
Under the witness of the fanatic, the Thorny Pain Lock came alive entirely, repeatedly penetrating York’s body until merging with him. Though his ether reaction was only that of a mediocre Condenser, at this moment, the Devil’s Mad Roar Power expanded recklessly.
"God..."
The fanatic’s gasp was abruptly cut off as the dancing thorns tore his body apart, shattered his organs, slaughtering even the surrounding zombies.
York’s visage and stance completely faded away within the mass of thorns. The Thorny Pain Lock grew larger and larger until it transformed into a bizarre creation resembling a giant sea urchin. Countless thorns struck at all living things within the domain, under its lashings, even the once writhing Blood and Flesh Plague lost its vitality entirely, as if truly dead.
"Kill them all."
An absolute and singular thought dictated York’s remaining consciousness, amidst the ruins of Gray Stone Town, within the pervasive Blood and Flesh Plague, a raging beast of war rampaged wildly.
Strolling within the Ethereal Realm, Sai Zong detected the disturbance from the Material Realm, curiosity mixed with an undercurrent of tumult in his heart.
"What happened again?" Leviathan beside him asked.
"Someone triggered my Protection," Sai Zong said, "It’s the first time in years."
"Oh, oh, oh, isn’t that the Protection that can fuse with a weapon?" Leviathan asked.
"He fused not with an ordinary weapon, but with my Original Sin Armament." Sai Zong reminded him of the gravity of the issue.
"Ah oh..."
Leviathan replied in a surprised tone, "So... does that mean... he now controls a part of your power?"
Sai Zong stared at Leviathan, but the golden mask was too obstructive, he couldn’t see anything.
"More than anything, I want to know, how long are we going to wander around in the Ethereal Realm?"
Sai Zong hadn’t reached the Ethereal Realm in years. He didn’t like this monotonous, uninteresting world.
"I know a secret passage that leads to Raymond Gaudent." Leviathan said.
Sai Zong couldn’t believe it, "This secret passage is within the Ethereal Realm?"
Leviathan only emitted a strange laugh, patting his shoulder, "You’ll know soon."
