Bologue sought information from Serey but was met with sleep. He then encountered Sai Zong, who spoke of "Eyes of Eternal Fury" and "Sin of Wrath," concepts that intrigued and confused Bologue. Sai Zong led Bologue into darkness, then revealed a vast and ancient armory filled with historical weapons, culminating in a display of primitive stone tools.

"It is said that this is the very first weapon since humanity’s dawn."

Sai Zong’s gaze swept over the primitive stone implements before he lowered his head, informing Bologue, "The Vengeful Saw Axe is more than merely a Contract Object. Rather than such a broad definition, I favor its former designation."

"Original Sin Armament."

A subtle discomfort registered in Bologue’s mind. "I don’t quite grasp your meaning, Sai Zong."

"Fear not, I shall elucidate it for you presently."

Sai Zong spoke, casually withdrawing a Sharp Sword from a collection of blades, and then added, "Did you know? This very sword once inflicted a gash upon the Night King."

"The armaments that materialize here not only signify the progression of human conflict but also their historical accomplishments," Bologue murmured.

"Precisely, which is why I desire your weapon. I shall undoubtedly grant it a place of prominence," Sai Zong declared, shaking his head. "Regrettably, you are Undead."

With a snap of Sai Zong’s fingers, the surrounding luminescence abruptly waned. Bologue experienced an overwhelming force bearing down, pressing him to the ground. Just as he stumbled, an unseen support arrested his fall.

A pallid radiance cascaded down, illuminating Sai Zong as he settled opposite Bologue.

"Each Devil embodies an Original Sin, and this Original Sin is the very authority they command. I trust you have grasped this concept quite clearly when confronting various Protections."

Bologue nodded, his anticipation heightening for further revelations regarding the Devils’ hidden truths.

"These Original Sins are intimately bound to humanity itself, intertwined as deeply as reflections in a looking glass," Sai Zong continued. "So long as sinfulness persists in its generation, the Devils shall find contentment, akin to the plundering of souls."

"The various Devils of Original Sin will then harvest this sinfulness through methods aligned with their unique proficiencies," Bologue deduced swiftly, linking Sai Zong’s words to his past encounters.

Wandering crossways would infinitely enlarge people’s desires; Joyful Garden would promise ultimate pleasure; House of the Rising Sun had eternal indolence...

"Indeed, but certain sins can be suppressed by the strength of will. Others, such as wrath, envy, and arrogance, prove exceedingly difficult for the human heart to rein in. These traits appear innate, manifesting as inherent human frailties. At times, they do not require deliberate harvesting; they simply flood the mortal realm."

Sai Zong expounded methodically, "Yet, Devils are never satisfied. Preferring active depredation over passive reaping, they engage in constant plunder."

Suddenly, Bologue recalled a common adage, "The history of humanity is the history of war."

Sai Zong concurred, "The sin most readily ignited by warfare is wrath."

These narratives, Sai Zong had not recounted with such depth to anyone in many years, let alone divulging such concealed truths. His mind momentarily wandered before re-centering.

"Devils wield the power of Original Sin and are propelled by it, profoundly shaping their dispositions and proclivities, a fact you should have already ascertained."

Mammon’s avarice, Belphegor’s sloth, Asmodeus’s craving for sensory gratification, Leviathan’s enigmatic envy of what...?

"The Eyes of Eternal Fury operates similarly, but in contrast to other Devils, owing to his potent Original Sin, he is undeniably a challenging entity to coexist with."

As the Eyes of Eternal Fury was mentioned, Sai Zong experienced a peculiar sense of ease, as if fondly recalling a cantankerous old acquaintance.

"To be precise, this individual is incapable of rational discourse; he exists in a perpetual state of fury, much like a wildfire sweeping across the plains, consuming all in its path without discrimination."

"Consequently, the Eyes of Eternal Fury was demonstrably unable to select a Debtor. The mere sight of a mortal would incite his wrathful Original Sin, causing him to rend the living limb from limb."

As Sai Zong’s narration unfolded, disjointed pieces of information began to coalesce within Bologue’s consciousness, leading him toward an understanding of the Vengeful Saw Axe’s true nature and its classification as an Original Sin Armament.

These Devils are indeed peculiar and unsettling.

"He fractured his power into numerous fragments, embedding them within various armaments."

"The weapon serves as the very font of sinfulness."

"He then dispersed these Original Sin Armaments across the globe. Any individual who possesses these weapons gains access to the power of the Eyes of Eternal Fury, becoming extraordinarily formidable and invincible in combat. They achieve renown through bloodshed and carnage. Inevitably, this power gradually erodes their sanity, transforming them into mere instruments of slaughter."

"To unleash even greater fury, they are compelled to instigate wars, thereby gratifying the Eyes of Eternal Fury."

Sai Zong’s voice softened. "It can be asserted that anyone wielding an Original Sin Armament is, in effect, a Debtor to the Eyes of Eternal Fury. Their acts of slaughter, conquest, and blood sacrifice constitute offerings of souls to him."

A flicker of searing indignation flared through Bologue’s mind."Could the Vengeful Saw Axe also be an Original Sin Armament?" Bologue let out a dry chuckle at the bizarre turn of events. "So, at this very moment, I've also become a Debtor to the Eyes of Eternal Fury? Simply by wielding that weapon and engaging in slaughter, without any Blood Contract, I can become his follower, his Debtor?" It was truly strange. The more Bologue pondered it, the more he felt something was amiss. The Eyes of Eternal Fury, the very entity that instigated countless wars and thrived on the rage of others, had actually established the Undying Club, a place of stark opposition. Here, endless slaughter was absent, replaced instead by an absolute sense of peace.
