Yohan boldly proposes becoming partners with Elaine, shocking her. He reveals he knows she's been stuck at the peak of the Heavenly Soul Realm for centuries and offers his help to break through her bottleneck. Elaine explains the difficulty and rarity of reaching the next realm, but Yohan remains confident. After Yohan extends his hand, Elaine hesitates but ultimately accepts, initiating a side quest for Yohan to help her ascend.

Yohan was taken aback when he felt Elaine's lips against his. It was entirely sudden when she pulled him into her embrace, placing her soft lips against his own. At this very moment, Yohan ignored the notification that rang inside his head. The kiss between him and Elaine lasted a few moments, and then she pushed him away, wearing an embarrassed expression. Her cheeks flamed red and her breathing was uneven; she immediately turned her head away in order to avoid Yohan's gaze. Elaine had done something that she had never done before. Yohan could only sigh inwardly, knowing she was an inexperienced woman, but he knew she accepted him nonetheless. That made him happy. He did not need to rush anything with Elaine; right now, his priorities lay elsewhere. Holding that thought in mind, Yohan gently held Elaine's hand in his own and looked at her with a warm smile.

"There is no need to force yourself; take your time!" he simply said, and with those words, he kissed Elaine on her forehead before moving in the direction of the Feng territories. Elaine remained standing there for a while, wondering what in the world had just happened. She was clearly dumbfounded by her own actions, as if her body had moved on its own. At the same time, a bright smile appeared on her face as she gently caressed her forehead where Yohan had kissed her.

She had never felt anything like this before, and not even in her wildest dreams did she think a day would come when she would be involved romantically with a man—not to mention someone who was so young. Her cultivation path was absolute from the very beginning; she was a Qi Cultivator. It was indeed surprising that she agreed to become his dual cultivation partner, abandoning the very path she had walked her entire life, but she did not feel sad. For some reason, it felt good, and her heart was at ease with the hasty decision.

Carrying that warmth on her face, Elaine shortly followed Yohan, and soon she caught up to him. Yohan simply smiled the moment she appeared; he was clearly waiting for her to catch him, intentionally slowing his usual pace. The two of them started flying side by side. Now and then, Elaine stole a gaze, still deeply embarrassed by her actions.

"Are you going to meet with your partners?" she asked him sometime later, as Yohan had already mentioned everything that happened to Patriarch Feng Yun regarding the disappearance of his wife, the mother of Xiao Feng. He had also explained that Diya, Natasha, and Xiao Feng were currently out there looking for the matriarch of the Feng clan.

Elaine was interested in Diya, Yohan's first cultivation partner. After all, when he was explaining everything related to the Feng territory, he remained indifferent, but upon mentioning Diya's name, he had a completely different look in his eyes—a distinct light and a gentle warmth on his face that she had never seen before. She knew he loved that woman deeply despite having so many partners.

"Three of them are strong women; Diya, Natasha, and Xiao Feng can look after each other. I am not worried about them. Right now, my grandpa and my father are my top priorities. To be honest with you, I am getting a bad feeling when I think about their safety." Yohan finally opened his heart to Elaine, accepting that he was anxious regarding their well-being. Knowing his father had been missing for a very long time, if anything happened to him, how could he face Alena?

"Both of them are my family; I just want them to be safe..."

Somewhere inside the northern region of the Phoenix Kingdom, a few figures could be seen sitting inside a dimly lit room. All of them had horrified looks on their faces upon seeing the destruction caused by a single individual. All of their eyes were fixated on the screen where Yohan was destroying their territories and annihilating every single man who was once part of their branch families, only leaving the women and children alive.

Yohan had erased everything from this very world that their predecessors had worked so hard to build. In a single day, all of them lost everything they had accumulated so far; their future generations and their families were gone. Without showing any mercy, he crushed their hopes for a better future. Now that he had destroyed everything, he was coming after them to take their very lives.

"He is going to kill us all..." one of the old men among the six exclaimed, breaking the long-lasting silence inside the room. The moment those words echoed inside the room, everyone looked at him with hate. After all, he was the one who had brought those royal family bastards to their doors and proposed the plan to eradicate the current ruling family by killing the current patriarch and the elder Su Wan Lin.

Initially, they had succeeded by luring out Su Lin and Su Wan Lin with the help of the six great elders of the current ruling family. The first phase of their plan was a success when the northern royal family informed them that they had subdued both Patriarch Su Lin and Su Wan Lin, leaving only one variable, which was Yohan. But to deal with him, they had prepared thousands of cultivators and just as many soldiers. All of them were confident that they could take him down with the help of those cultivators, but alas, things turned out differently. He killed those cultivators as if they were nothing but meager playthings to him.

He was in a different league entirely, so they did not stand a chance. The royal family they were so confident in had also abandoned them at the very last moment, fleeing from the scene and leaving them to his mercy. Worst of all, they had no intel regarding Su Lin and Su Wan Lin. It was the royal family that was in charge of dealing with them. They might have been their last chance to escape an untimely death, but alas, all of them knew they were doomed the moment they lost their bargaining chip.

"What are we going to do now?" another old man spoke, ignoring the old man who had caused this mayhem.

"There is nothing we can do at this very moment. We have already lost everything to his hands. The worst part is that we got played by the hands of those royal family bastards; we made the worst mistake of our lives by trusting those nobles," the oldest among the six spoke as he leaned back against his seat with a bittersweet smile on his face. He knew there is nothing they could do but wait for their deaths.
