Sometimes later, Elaine came to her senses and entered the pavilion in order to catch up with Yohan. Upon entering, she saw countless bodies scattered around the long corridor; all of them belonged to the disciples of the alchemy faction. It was a gruesome sight to behold. Most of the disciples were missing limbs, crying in horror, and crawling. Some of them were completely fine but, horrified, were running in the direction of the exit where Elaine was standing. All of these disciples were glancing back while their bodies moved forward in the hope of leaving this place alive.
As the small group of horrified disciples passed through, ignoring Elaine, she simply scratched her chin and wondered what in the world he was trying to achieve by letting a small number of individuals leave this place alive. He had already killed and crippled many; she did not understand why he was so kind to a small number of disciples.
As Elaine moved forward, ignoring the wailing, crippled disciples, she realized the entire pavilion was in chaos. Bodies were scattered all around the corridor, which led to the deepest part of the pavilion.
"How scary..." she muttered while moving forward, taking every single step carefully to avoid the crippled disciples laying on the ground. As she moved forward, all of them pleaded with her to save them, but Elaine frowned, shaking her head sideways.
"Sorry, I am just an observer. I can’t help you,I hope you find solace in afterlife, all the best!!" she exclaimed while keeping a gentle smile on her beautiful face. The crippled disciples were taken aback seeing that smile on her face; all of them felt more horrified.
"Good luck, guys. I have to go find young master Yohan!" Elaine added before moving forward in a carefree manner, avoiding the bodies and crippled disciples who were looking at her in horror.
The entire pavilion was in chaos, knowing they were being attacked by Young Master Yohan, who suddenly appeared out of nowhere and went on a killing spree without giving any explanation or reason whatsoever.
Those who tried to attack simply lost their heads; those who tried to stop him lost their limbs. Some of them were lucky and happened to leave the place alive, as he simply told them to leave.
Sometime later, Elaine finally reached the deepest part of the pavilion, and her gaze landed on Yohan, who was holding a sword in his right hand. Right before him gathered a massive crowd of white-robed figures; they were the elders of the alchemy faction, and all of them looked at Yohan with horrified expressions.
"You demon..." one of the elders said in a trembling voice while pointing his sword in Yohan’s direction. As far as his gaze went, he could only see the bodies of the disciples laying on the ground, soaked in blood. Some of them were alive, but the old elder knew no one among them was going to survive losing that much blood. Their fates were already sealed; it was a matter of time before their souls left their bodies. That old man gritted his teeth and cursed Yohan for massacring the disciples of the alchemy pavilion.
Yohan simply scoffed, signaling that old man to move aside, as he was already old and barely alive. Even if he did not kill him, he would die of old age. Yohan was aware that the High Elder Supreme Pill was hiding inside the hall, barricading himself. The last line of defense was these elders who were trying to protect him; all of them were old men.
"You bastard, when Elder Su Wan Lin comes, you will pay for your crimes! No one is going to save you, boy... not even your father. Your fate is already sealed. You think you are going to get away with killing so many disciples and elders?"
"You shouldn’t have crossed the line, Young Master... the six great factions have stood for centuries. We are the core of this very clan. You are doomed!" The old man shouted at the top of his lungs, his eyes filled with hatred.
"Six great factions, huh... well, sorry to disappoint you, old man, but there will be no six factions from today onwards." Yohan looked at the old man with dead eyes. The old man and his companions were taken aback hearing Yohan’s bold claim.
"You... don’t tell me..." Suddenly, a realization hit him. Yohan simply smiled, seeing that despair on this old man’s face. This old man was a peak True Spirit Soul Realm cultivator, close to reaching the Earth Soul Realm. Yohan could tell he must be three to four hundred years old.
"Yeah, you finally realized. At this very moment, my partners are tearing down the other so-called great factions that you are so proud of!" Yohan took out a chair from his spatial ring and took a seat right before those elders. The old man could not believe his ears, and beads of sweat could be seen on his forehead as he realized the gravity of the situation.
The old man could tell Yohan was not jesting; he was serious.
"How long have you known my Grandpa Lin...?" Yohan gave a look to that old man while drinking the famous monkey booze he got from Solane. The old man simply raised his brows upon hearing Yohan, while the others were confused and surprised by Yohan’s sudden behavior.
At this very moment, Elaine appeared right next to Yohan, taking everyone by surprise. However, she ignored them, her eyes fixated on the bottle he was holding in his left hand.
"Is this the monkey booze you took from that inn?" she asked curiously. Yohan frowned, but nevertheless, he tossed it in her direction, ignoring her.
The old man who was present there looked at Elaine as if he had seen a ghost. By a single glance, he could tell that woman was not simple. He was aware of Yohan’s monstrous growth, but the woman right next to him was on a completely different level. She was not bothered about the blood and bodies that were on the ground, being only interested in the bottle of booze.
"So, old man, I’ll ask again... how long have you known my grandpa?" At this very moment, a frightening aura erupted from Yohan’s body, instantly pulling the old man’s attention in his direction. The other elders immediately backed down, feeling the frightening pressure.
"I’ve known Su Wan since his birth. I have been serving this clan for the last three centuries..." the old man responded timidly, clearly affected by the pressure that Yohan had released earlier.
"What about those people behind you? Will my grandpa be sad if I kill them?" Yohan asked, taking everyone by surprise, including the old man.
"What...?" The old man’s facial expression darkened, but before he could say anything, he fell to his knees. The next moment, one after another, countless bodies sliced in half started dropping to the ground. Elaine simply watched the fallen elders while chugging the alcohol from the bottle. Yohan’s facial expression remained unchanged.
"Well, I don’t think he will be sad if I end up killing a bunch of low-level cultivators serving the grand elder, who was in cahoots with the other factions, plotting a rebellion against the clan!" Yohan exclaimed as he looked at the old man, who was on his knees with a horrified expression on his face.
"How did you..." The old man lifted his head, and his gaze met with Yohan’s gaze, wondering how he had learned about the rebellion.
