Dual Cultivation Chapter 4 White Pearl Treasury

Previously on Dual Cultivation...
After a brutal deathmatch, Su Yang finds himself nursing a serious injury from Yan Ming's attack, which leaves him reflecting on his past as an Immortal. The news of his unexpected victory spreads swiftly through the sect, igniting curiosity and disbelief among his peers. Elder Sun interrogates Yan Ming, who is haunted by the overwhelming killing intent he felt from Su Yang, prompting the elder to investigate the mysterious disciple's background. Meanwhile, Su Yang's roommates notice a significant change in him, both in demeanor and confidence, diving deeper into the complexity of his dual existence.

A single building resides within the Profound Blossom Sect that contains everything from priceless treasures to rare resources. Whether it be weapons, spirit stones, or medicines—all of it is available at the White Pearl Treasury, provided one possesses sufficient Premium Points.

In the Profound Blossom Sect, Premium Points serve as the exclusive currency. These points can be traded for any item found within the White Pearl Treasury's walls.

Disciples can earn Premium Points by completing missions or performing meritorious deeds for the sect; furthermore, they can be exchanged between individuals just like actual money.

"How many Premium Points is this Pure Yang Flower?"

Su Yang questioned the Elder stationed behind the counter. Realizing his current strength was severely lacking, he had made his way to the White Pearl Treasury. Since he lacked a partner for Dual Cultivation, his only path to progress was through sect-provided resources. There was no better place to find such high-quality materials than the White Pearl Treasury, where every imaginable treasure was stored for purchase.

"A Pure Yang Flower? What business does an Outer Court disciple like you have with such a precious medicine?" The old man shifted his gaze toward him, looking intrigued. "10,000."

"10,000?" Su Yang’s eyebrows shot up in disbelief. "Even the most difficult missions only reward a disciple with 100 Premium Points, yet you are demanding 10,000 for a simple Pure Yang Flower? This is nothing short of daylight robbery!"

To Su Yang, the Pure Yang Flower was merely a low-grade herb suitable for mortals, yet here it was being treated as a divine treasure.

"The Patriarch himself set that price; if you have a problem with it, take it up with him. Otherwise, the price is non-negotiable."

Looking down at the jade slip in his hand, Su Yang let out a heavy sigh. "Aiiii... 34 Premium Points... and that’s after a whole year in this place..."

As he scanned his surroundings, many beautiful women caught his eye. "I could simply find a partner... but no matter where I look... they are all just brats who are still wet behind their ears..."

Although Su Yang occupied the body of a sixteen-year-old youth, his mind was far from young. He couldn't bring himself to bed children who weren't even half his true age. While age is often irrelevant to cultivators who can live for millennia while maintaining their youth, the idea simply didn't sit right with him.

"Well, do you want it or not?" the Elder behind the desk asked impatiently, though he already anticipated the answer. He could tell Su Yang was short on funds based on his status as a lowly Outer Court disciple. Forget an Outer Court disciple; even those in the Inner Court would struggle to gather 10,000 Premium Points.

"I want it," Su Yang replied, leaving the Elder stunned. "But not this moment. I will return in ten days with enough Premium Points to make the trade."

"You... how could you possibly achieve that?" the Elder asked, his eyes wide with shock.

Su Yang merely offered a smile in response to the question and walked away, leaving the Elder with veins throbbing on his forehead in frustration.

Upon exiting the White Pearl Treasury, Su Yang tracked down a large cloth and writing materials. He then headed to the training center, a place teeming with disciples at all hours. He stood in the open, displaying the cloth—now a sign—for everyone to see.

"Heavenly Massage – Experience what it feels like to be in heaven! First three customers free of charge!"

"Heavenly massage? Isn’t that Su Yang? What kind of nonsense is he doing now?"

"Experience heaven? Hahaha! He’s just looking for an excuse to touch girls!"

"Damn! The guy is getting truly desperate!"

The surrounding disciples erupted into unrestrained laughter.

Su Yang remained standing there quietly, a serene expression on his face despite the mocking laughter filling the air.

"This brings back memories of my youth..." He thought back to a time when he spent his days and nights on the streets with the exact same sign.

After he had stood there for several hours without a single person approaching him, a few disciples finally decided to mess with him for entertainment.

"Hey, Su Yang, what in the devil’s name are you doing right now?"

"We all know you just want to grope some girls because you can't find a partner."

"To come up with such a wicked scheme, you really have no shame!"

Despite the insults from the disciples, Su Yang kept his eyes shut, looking as though he had fallen asleep.

"Hey, look at me when I'm speaking to you, you shameless bastard!"

Just as the disciple pulled back his fist to strike, Su Yang’s eyes snapped open, a sharp and dangerous light flashing within them.

"Step aside, brat. I have a customer," Su Yang stated, catching the disciples off guard.

When the group turned around, they saw a lovely young woman standing there with her arms crossed, her expression clearly skeptical.

"What kind of massage?" she demanded in a sharp tone.

"The kind that will make your back pain disappear."

Su Yang’s unexpected reply caused the young lady’s eyes to widen in shock.

"How... how did you know? That I have back pain?"

Su Yang offered no verbal answer; he simply glanced at his sign and smiled.
