Dragon Monarch System Chapter 987 987:- Athena, Aditya, and Laura,
Previously on Dragon Monarch System...
"How's the situation over there?" Rebuilding the ruined Capital stood as the primary duty for Laura or Athena. Considering the Capital's vast size and the extent of the devastation, full reconstruction would likely demand at least one or two months.
"Progressing well." Athena strode gracefully into the Throne Hall.
She spun around and settled onto his lap, facing toward the hall's expanse.
"Hmm!! The perspective from this spot is truly splendid."
"Splendid? I see it as tiring whenever I must occupy the Throne to receive visitors." Aditya favored a casual approach. Chatting and conferring in the living room suited him fine. Yet Watson and the others had firmly opposed that idea.
Thus, options boiled down to returning to the old palace's living room for sessions or heading to the Throne Hall.
"But with you perched on my lap now, it no longer feels draining. I'd gladly remain seated here all day long." At these words, Athena glanced at Aditya with a sly smile. His affectionate remark delighted her greatly.
Saying nothing, he encircled her waist with his arms and raised her a bit for better ease. He positioned her across both thighs. Though the stance carried a touch of closeness.
Her intimate area pressed directly against his manhood. Merely their garments blocked the way to joining.
Athena stayed still, leaving his hands undisturbed. After all, he remained her betrothed.
Even without Laura harboring any emotions for Aditya, Athena would have selected him as her partner. He matched every standard she held—known only to her and Laura—flawlessly as a gentleman. Their shared moments lately had only deepened that determination.
Aditya would become her husband, and that stood beyond debate.
Athena hailed from a deeply traditional household.
From her earliest years, lessons emphasized that loyalty transcended mere words—it formed a solemn obligation. A lady of noble birth learned not to pursue fleeting romances or fanciful loves. Instead, she prepared to stand by her spouse, bolstering him, advising when required, and sharing hardships through tough times. Such was her calling.
Shattering a soul-binding contract ranked as inconceivable in her lineage. Far more than a simple vow between partners, it held sacred weight. Once forged, it endured for life. No space existed for doubt or withdrawal.
She never anticipated love in return. For her, wedlock centered on duty, steadiness, and dignity. Should fondness emerge afterward, it would count as a gift. Absent that, she would carry out her part without protest.
Upon accepting the role of his fiancée, she couldn't foresee the man he might develop into. Predicting whether he'd mature handsome or plain proved impossible. To her, such traits mattered little. Certainly, her fiancé's nature held significance, yet even if flaws emerged, she planned not to abandon him at once but to remain at his side and aid his growth.
Should that fail utterly, she would quietly foster separation while staying unwed, as dissolving the soul-binding contract lay out of reach. Above all, romance held no appeal for her.
Aditya encircled her waist with his arms before pressing his face into her elegant white neckline.
His warm breath against her skin sent a brief shiver through her frame.
"What do you think you're up to?" Her tone dropped soft. Should he glimpse her expression, he'd spot the faint blush on her cheeks. She appeared uneasy and rattled.
"This serves as my way to recharge mentally." He stated it like the simplest fact.
Athena (Laura) offered no reply. She simply reclined against him and shut her eyes.
"You carry an enchanting aroma, you know."
"Wha.....?"
"Indeed!" Flustered even more, she recalled the merged memories and intimacies from Laura and him. Yet, living this herself—united as one with Laura—still left her unsettled.
'No need to fret; you'll adjust soon enough.' Athena caught Laura's voice echoing in her thoughts.
'Right!' She didn't dislike it. In fact, she savored the sensation of her man embracing her from behind. Strangely, it brought a soothing calm, even lulling her toward sleepiness.
'This could become habit-forming.' Athena mused silently.
'Let me take over now.'
'I crave time with my husband too.' Laura's voice rang like a pouty youngster in Athena's mind.
'Hehe! Feeling envious?' - Athena
'I'm sharing every sensation you're feeling, so envy doesn't fit.' - Laura
'I just yearn to sense him through my own form. That way, when we blend once more, we'll each revisit the other's memories of this instant.' - Laura
'Solid reasoning.' - Athena
A sudden brilliant glow flashed, momentarily blinding Aditya. Vision gone, he still sensed his left arm at her waist shifting aside.
Merely seconds passed.
Once finished, Aditya found himself flanked by two stunning women.
His right arm secured Athena at her waist.
His left arm grasped Laura's waist.
"Greetings, my love; have you longed for me?" Without awaiting his answer, she leaned in and claimed his lips in a fervent kiss.
Athena observed with a pang of jealousy. Laura's separation from her sapped the boldness she'd felt earlier.
The kiss unfolded leisurely yet passionately. They eagerly savored each other's lips and tongues.
When they finally parted with reluctance, Laura's cheeks glowed crimson. She gazed at him, then yielded to the urge, embracing him tightly and nestling her face against his left chest.
"You've grown more vibrant." He detected the evident shift in her demeanor almost instantly. Previously, Laura seemed more restrained, but now she brimmed with energy.
"This mirrors how Laura behaved around me in our time together. She shines brightest before the one she truly adores." Athena and Aditya exchanged warm smiles.
"I'm all about fairness. I won't favor just one with affection. Draw near." He took hold of her neck gently and drew her toward him.
Athena witnessed their lips meeting.
The instant contact occurred, a tremor ran through her body briefly.
His warm, yielding lips on hers quickened her pulse. Athena gazed fondly at his closed-eyed face before shutting her own eyes and looping her arms around his neck, mirroring her sister's earlier move.
In the opening moments, heat flooded her features. She knew her entire face must be scarlet by now.
Yet as she settled into the kiss and savored it, a piercing stare came from beside her.
Peeking with her left eye, she saw Laura flashing a mischievous grin, which deepened her embarrassment.
'You're relishing this far beyond your cool facade.' Laura's tone played teasingly in her mind.
'Stop acting immature.' Athena aimed for her typical composure. 'I'm merely upholding my duties as his fiancée.'
'Is that so? Then explain your racing heart?' Laura prodded further. 'You seem on the verge of swooning if the kiss drags on.'
'Nonsense.' Athena refuted it swiftly, despite the fire in her cheeks. 'You're blowing it out of proportion.'
'Hehe… Sister, you adore it.'
Overwhelmed by the mortification, she eased him back softly before turning her gaze away to conceal her expression.
"Truth is, Sister Athena tends to be quite bashful."
"Hahahaha!!!" Aditya burst into laughter uncontrollably. Laura chimed in, giggling beside him.
This drew a sharp, stern look from Athena, silencing them promptly.
"Over here!" He drew her softly into an embrace and pressed his face to her right chest.
With his dual hearts, each woman heard distinct rhythms. It felt as if he possessed two hearts, one for each.
The three lingered in that pose for quite a while. The Dragon Monarch seldom entertained guests. Few ever approached the Dragon Palace. The whole domain belonged solely to them.
No surprises disrupted their peace.
Sleepiness crept over both sisters in his hold.
They each fluttered their eyes open and met each other's gaze.
A shared smile passed between them before they shut their eyes once more, drifting off.
Aditya rested his head back against the Throne and watched them intently for a prolonged stretch before sleep claimed him. He lost track of the moment it happened, lost in their sight.

A huge thanks to everyone who offered support through precious golden tickets and gifts. Let's maintain this momentum!!!
This marks the month's final chapter. My usual writing schedule suffered disruptions from outside influences. Some days, I simply lacked the drive to wrap up a chapter. I apologize for the reduced output.
Grateful for your steady encouragement.
