Dragon Monarch System Chapter 1265:- Raiketsu shows no Mercy

A fraction of a second later, Aditya reappeared directly among the retreating soldiers of the Emperor Faction, holding the mana-infused Raiketsu in his right hand. The moment he appeared, several nearby soldiers immediately noticed his presence. However, before any of them could raise their weapons or warn their companions, Aditya had already made his move.
With a single thought, Aditya released the enormous amount of Wind Energy that he had poured into Raiketsu. In the next instant, countless sharp currents of compressed wind spread outward from his position. These invisible attacks traveled in almost every direction except directly behind him, where there were no retreating enemy soldiers.
The soldiers standing nearby did not understand what was happening. They could only feel a sudden change in the air around them before invisible blades of compressed wind began cutting through their ranks. The attacks were so sharp that ordinary armor and defensive equipment offered almost no protection.
Several soldiers were cut down before they even realized that they were under attack. Others desperately raised their shields, only to discover that the invisible wind blades could cut straight through them. Within seconds, dozens of soldiers had fallen, and the surrounding area was filled with screams of pain and terror.
Aditya slowly raised Raiketsu and looked at the retreating soldiers in front of him. Then, without giving his enemies another moment to react, he disappeared.
In the next instant, Aditya appeared beside a group of five soldiers who were desperately trying to escape. Before any of them could turn toward him, Raiketsu had already passed through their bodies. Three soldiers immediately collapsed, while the remaining two were struck by a second slash before they could even raise their weapons.
Aditya did not bother watching them fall.
He disappeared again. This time, he appeared behind four soldiers who were running together. With one smooth movement, he swung Raiketsu horizontally, cutting through all four of them before immediately teleporting toward another group.
The entire exchange happened so quickly that the nearby soldiers could barely understand what they were seeing. One moment, Aditya was standing several dozen meters away. The next moment, he had already appeared beside another group of soldiers and killed them.
He was constantly teleporting across the battlefield, appearing and disappearing so quickly that his enemies could not follow his movements with their eyes. Every time he appeared, three to five soldiers would fall.
Sometimes he killed them with a single horizontal slash. Other times, he used two or three extremely fast attacks before disappearing again. His movements were simple and direct, without any unnecessary actions.
There was no hesitation in his attacks.
There was no mercy in his eyes.
And there was absolutely no intention of allowing his enemies to escape.
The soldiers of the Emperor Faction quickly realised that something terrifying was happening among their ranks. They could hear screams coming from different directions, but whenever they turned toward the source, Aditya had already disappeared.
"WHERE IS HE? WHERE DID HE GO?" One soldier shouted in panic while desperately looking around.
"BEHIND US! HE’S BEHIND US!" Another soldier screamed after witnessing several of his companions being cut down.
However, by the time the warning reached the others, Aditya was already somewhere else. His teleportation made it almost impossible for ordinary soldiers to defend themselves. Even those who managed to notice his arrival had no time to react before Raiketsu reached them.
Meanwhile, the invisible wind blades released by Raiketsu were continuing to cause destruction throughout the surrounding area.
Aditya was not simply relying on his teleportation and physical attacks. As he moved across the battlefield, he repeatedly swung Raiketsu through the air, leaving behind invisible Wind Scars at different locations.
These Wind Scars remained completely hidden from the enemy soldiers. Even those who passed directly beside them had no idea that deadly attacks were waiting in the air. After placing several Wind Scars across the retreating army’s path, Aditya lightly tapped Raiketsu’s handguard with his little finger.
Immediately, the hidden Wind Scars activated.
Sharp blades of compressed wind burst outward from their positions. The sharp blades cut through the soldiers who happened to be standing in their paths. Several soldiers were struck before they could understand where the attacks had come from, while others were killed as they desperately tried to escape.
The attacks were almost completely invisible. The soldiers could not see the blades approaching them, nor could they understand why their companions were suddenly falling around them.
Some believed that Aditya was attacking them from a distance, while others thought that the wind itself had somehow become dangerous. However, the truth was even worse. Aditya was attacking them from several directions at once.
While he personally moved through the battlefield with Raiketsu, the invisible Wind Scars he had left behind were also killing the retreating soldiers.
And because the Wind Scars could remain hidden in the air for ten minutes, Aditya did not need to activate them immediately after creating them. He could leave them in important positions and activate them whenever large groups of soldiers attempted to pass through those areas.
This made his attacks even more difficult to predict. A group of soldiers might successfully escape from Aditya’s immediate location, only to be struck by an invisible wind blade several seconds later.
Meanwhile, Aditya continued moving from one group to another. His figure appeared beside six soldiers who were protecting an injured commander. Before the commander could even understand what was happening, Aditya swung Raiketsu twice, cutting down the soldiers standing in front of him.
The commander immediately attempted to raise his weapon, but Aditya had already disappeared. A moment later, he reappeared behind the man.
One clean slash was all it took. The commander’s head was severed in one clean slash. After the commander collapsed, Aditya immediately moved toward his next target.
By now, the soldiers around him had completely lost their ability to maintain any proper formation. They were no longer thinking about fighting back or protecting their companions. Their only goal was to escape from the terrifying enemy who was moving through their ranks.
However, escaping from Aditya was almost impossible. Even those who managed to run several hundred meters away were not safe. With his teleportation, Aditya could easily appear directly in front of them before they had any chance to escape.
And every time he appeared, more soldiers died.
The worst part was that Aditya was not even using his full strength against these soldiers. Most of them were far weaker than him, and his physical abilities alone were already more than enough to kill them.
He did not need to use any complicated techniques or powerful spells. A simple movement of Raiketsu was enough.
As the slaughter continued, the blade of Raiketsu began absorbing the blood and killing intent of the enemies it killed. This was one of the special properties of the weapon, which had originally been created as a Six-Star katana before a part of its power was sealed.
To restore Raiketsu to its original rank, Aditya needed to kill fifty thousand enemy soldiers with the weapon.
And right now, he was standing in the middle of an enormous army that was desperately trying to retreat. For Aditya, there could hardly have been a better opportunity to fulfil the weapon’s unlocking conditions.
As more soldiers fell to Raiketsu, the weapon continued absorbing their blood and killing intent. Although its true power remained sealed, the energy gathering within the katana was slowly increasing with every enemy it killed.
Aditya could clearly feel this change through his connection with the weapon. However, he did not stop to examine it. Instead, he tightened his grip around Raiketsu’s handle and continued attacking.
His figure disappeared once again before reappearing in the middle of another group of retreating soldiers.
Three soldiers fell from his first slash. Two more were killed by his second. Before their bodies could even reach the ground, Aditya had already disappeared and appeared beside another group.
The entire process continued repeating itself at an unbelievable speed. To the ordinary soldiers watching from a distance, it almost looked as though several Adityas were attacking different parts of the battlefield at the same time.
In reality, there was only one Aditya. He was simply moving so quickly through teleportation that his enemies could not keep track of him.
And while the soldiers were desperately trying to protect themselves from the green Acid Rain falling from above, Aditya was cutting them down from below.
Those who focused on maintaining their mana shields were unable to properly defend themselves against Raiketsu. Meanwhile, those who lowered their shields to fight Aditya risked being exposed to the deadly Acid Rain.
The Emperor Faction’s soldiers were now trapped between two different threats, both created by the same person. And no matter which threat they tried to defend against, the other would immediately become even more dangerous.
High above the battlefield, Athena continued watching everything with a serious expression. She could see Aditya appearing and disappearing among the retreating soldiers, while invisible wind attacks continued cutting through the enemy’s ranks.
Even though she had already witnessed his terrifying strength many times before, his current performance was still shocking.
Aditya was not simply killing the retreating soldiers. He was using this opportunity to increase Raiketsu’s strength while making sure that the Emperor Faction suffered as many casualties as possible before escaping.
Meanwhile, Aditya continued moving through the enemy army without slowing down.
Another group of soldiers attempted to retreat through a narrow opening between two destroyed defensive formations. However, Aditya had already placed several invisible Wind Scars across that path.
The moment the soldiers entered the area, Aditya lightly tapped Raiketsu’s handguard.
The hidden wind blades immediately activated. The hidden wind blades cut through the soldiers before they could escape. Each of the wind blades was powerful enough to cut their bodies to pieces.
Aditya appeared among the survivors a moment later.
Without saying a single word, he raised Raiketsu and continued his attacks. His expression remained cold and emotionless as he moved from one enemy to another.
For him, the soldiers standing in front of him were not people he intended to spare. They were enemies who had chosen to fight for Ren. And as long as they remained on the battlefield, Aditya had no intention of showing them any mercy.
