Dragon Monarch System Chapter 1227: Chpater 1227:- Successful Rescue and Going to War

It did not take long for Aditya and the others to reach the small town at their maximum speed. However, instead of teleporting directly into the town, Aditya stopped near its entrance. After making sure that nobody had noticed their sudden appearance, the group calmly entered the town and blended in with the ordinary crowd.
Aditya deliberately slowed down once they entered. He had already checked their surroundings several times and confirmed that there were no pursuers behind them. His continuous teleportation had allowed them to cover such an enormous distance in such a short period that even the Seventh Order cultivators who had attempted to pursue them were unable to keep up.
Nevertheless, Aditya did not completely lower his guard. They were still relatively close to the Capital, and there was no telling when the National Treasures might arrive.
As they approached the town’s teleportation area, Aditya quickly spotted Lou Han waiting nearby. This caused him to frown slightly, as he had specifically instructed Lou Han not to remain too close to the teleportation array. After all, a Seventh Order cultivator standing around such a place could easily attract unnecessary attention.
However, Lou Han had apparently been too concerned about their safety to remain far away. The moment Lou Han spotted Aditya and Rin approaching with three unfamiliar figures, his expression immediately brightened. A small smile appeared on his face as he realized that their mission had most likely been successful.
"My Lord, you have returned." Lou Han approached them and greeted Aditya respectfully. There was visible relief in his voice.
Aditya nodded. "Fortunately, everything went according to plan. We managed to get out without having to fight our way through the Capital."
Although Aditya had fought and killed the guards inside his parents’ mansion, he had originally expected the escape itself to involve several battles against powerful cultivators. With so many National Treasures stationed in the Capital, he had been prepared for the possibility of confronting multiple Seventh Order enemies before reaching safety.
Yet, surprisingly, they had managed to escape without directly fighting any of them.
In fact, Aditya felt that things had gone a little too smoothly. He had expected considerably more resistance, especially after the destruction caused by the Void Collapse Talisman. It almost felt as though some unknown factor had been helping him from the shadows, preventing the National Treasures from pursuing him with their full strength.
However, this was neither the time nor the place to think about such matters.
Aditya gestured toward the armored woman standing beside Rin. "This is Elara. She was originally one of the guards assigned to watch over my parents. She is now my slave and will be serving as one of my subordinates from this point onward."
Hearing this, Lou Han nodded before briefly examining Elara. As a Seventh Order cultivator and one of Aditya’s trusted subordinates, he could easily sense that Elara was a Peak Sixth Order cultivator. However, what caught his attention was that she did not possess the distinctive aura of a Dragonian.
Aditya immediately understood what Lou Han was thinking. "I haven’t given her any drops of my Divine Dragon Blood yet. She’s already at Peak Sixth Order. If I transform her into a Dragonian right now, there’s a very high possibility that she will immediately break through to Beginner Seventh Order and trigger her Heavenly Tribulation."
Aditya glanced toward Elara before continuing. "And the last thing we need right now is another Heavenly Tribulation attracting everyone’s attention."
Lou Han immediately understood his reasoning.
A Heavenly Tribulation was not something that could be concealed easily, especially when someone was breaking through to the Seventh Order. If Elara suddenly triggered one while they were still attempting to escape, it would undoubtedly attract the attention of the powerful cultivators pursuing them.
"Understood, My Lord." Lou Han replied.
Without wasting any more time, the group entered the teleportation area. After paying the necessary fees and confirming their destination, they stepped onto the teleportation array. A bright light enveloped all six of them, and in the next instant, they disappeared. Their destination was Axel City.
Upon arriving, Aditya immediately led everyone back to the Harrington Family mansion. By this point, the civil war had already officially begun, and there was very little time left before Aditya needed to return to the battlefield.
Inside the mansion, Wahid and his two wives, and several other extended Harrington Faction family members had been anxiously waiting for news of Aditya’s return. Although they knew how powerful he had become, the thought of him infiltrating the Imperial Royal Palace while several National Treasures were stationed there was enough to make anyone worried.
The moment Aditya entered the mansion, everyone visibly relaxed. However, their relief quickly turned into shock when their attention fell upon Alen and Elena.
Both were standing silently beside Aditya and Rin, their expressions completely blank. Despite finally being reunited with their family, neither showed any signs of happiness, recognition, or even curiosity about their surroundings.
Seeing the former Emperor and Empress in such a condition was heartbreaking, especially for those who had known them for thousands of years.
Wahid’s expression darkened as he approached the two. He called out to them, but neither Alen nor Elena responded.
Aditya quickly explained everything that had happened inside the Imperial Royal Palace, including how he had discovered his parents chained inside an underground room and what Elara had told him about the possibility of a Gu controlling their minds.
He also explained that removing the Gu would not be as simple as breaking an ordinary mind-control technique. If Elara’s suspicions were correct, the parasites had already matured inside his parents’ bodies, and attempting to remove them without proper preparation could potentially endanger their lives.
"For now, I will have to leave their treatment to someone who understands these things better than I do." Aditya said after finishing his explanation.
He glanced toward his parents before continuing. "I’ll send a letter to Julia in the Istarin Empire and explain everything we know about the Gu. Once she reads it, she can tell me whether she knows a method to remove them."
"If she needs to examine them personally, then I’ll arrange for my parents to be sent to her. But until we hear from Julia, I don’t want anyone attempting to remove the Gu without knowing exactly what they’re dealing with."
Everyone nodded in agreement. After all, Julia was the Goddess of Alchemy. If anyone could develop a potion capable of killing the Gu without harming Alen and Elena, she was among the most qualified people to attempt it.
With that matter temporarily settled, Aditya stood up and prepared to leave. He had already spent considerable time rescuing his parents, and as the Supreme Commander of the Anti-Emperor Faction, he could not afford to remain away from the battlefield any longer.
Rin and Lou Han immediately followed him.
Elara also began walking behind them. Although Aditya had not told her where they were going, she had a fairly good idea. The civil war had officially begun, and considering Aditya’s position as Supreme Commander, there was only one place where he was urgently needed.
However, before she could follow them out of the room, Aditya suddenly stopped.
"Elara, you’re staying here." Elara immediately halted and looked at him. She was surprised that he stopped her.
Aditya reached into his storage ring and took out a small glass bottle containing a few hundred drops of golden blood. Even through the glass, the blood radiated an extraordinary aura that caused Elara’s eyes to widen slightly.
"This contains several drops of my Divine Dragon Blood." Aditya said before handing her the bottle. "I want you to absorb them and complete your transformation into a Dragonian."
Elara carefully accepted the bottle with both hands. "Given your current cultivation, I expect you to break through to Beginner Seventh Order after absorbing my blood."
Aditya continued. "But that also means you will have to undergo your Heavenly Tribulation. I don’t want you attempting something like that in the middle of the battlefield."
He looked directly into her eyes before adding, "For now, you will remain here and focus entirely on your cultivation. Once you have successfully broken through to the Seventh Order, come to the battlefield and find me. I’ll give you further instructions when you arrive."
"Understood, Your Majesty." Elara immediately replied.
Ever since learning the truth about Ren and the circumstances surrounding Aditya’s exile, Elara had started addressing him as His Majesty rather than His Highness.
Aditya had noticed the change, but he did not bother correcting her.
After all, he was already the Emperor of the Istarin Empire, where nearly everyone addressed him by that title. He had grown so accustomed to hearing it that Elara’s choice of words did not particularly bother him.
Besides, he had far more important things to worry about than how his newest subordinate addressed him.
"Uncle Wahid, please help Elara prepare for her breakthrough. I also want you to stay here and make sure everything goes smoothly." Aditya said.
From the very beginning, it had already been decided that Wahid would remain in Axel City rather than participate directly in the civil war. Ever since his evolution, his abilities and overall stats had improved tremendously, making him one of the most suitable candidates to defend the city.
With the majority of the Anti-Emperor Faction’s powerful cultivators heading toward the battlefield, someone needed to remain behind to protect Axel City and the people staying there. Wahid’s unique abilities made him particularly effective at defending a large area, especially if anyone decided to take advantage of the civil war and launch a surprise attack.
Wahid understood the importance of his responsibility. He seriously nodded his head before replying, "Leave everything here to me. I’ll make sure everyone remains safe, and I’ll personally oversee Elara’s preparations for her Heavenly Tribulation. You can focus on the war without worrying about what happens here."
Aditya nodded in appreciation. He trusted Wahid completely and knew that his uncle would do everything in his power to protect the city and its people.
After exchanging a few final words, Aditya left the mansion with Rin and Lou Han. The three headed toward the teleportation array, which would take them closer to the battlefield.
Once they stepped onto the teleportation array, Aditya briefly glanced at his two companions before activating it. A bright light enveloped the trio, and in the next instant, all three disappeared from everyone’s sight.
