Aditya finally managed to register the System’s words.

Now that the absorption had reached one hundred per cent, the unbearable pain tormenting his entire body had slightly decreased. However, it was barely noticeable; perhaps only around five percent.

Compared to what he had endured moments earlier, even that tiny decrease was enough to allow his exhausted mind to think somewhat clearly again.

What had once been the magnificent Harrington mansion now resembled nothing more than a gigantic, charred-black structure standing on the verge of collapse. And with Aditya violently breaking through the ceiling, its condition only became worse.

However, Aditya had absolutely no time to care about the mansion. After breaking through the ceiling, he continued shooting toward the sky without slowing down.His figure rapidly became smaller in everyone’s vision as he climbed higher and higher.

Only after ascending more than a thousand meters above the ground did Aditya finally stop.

Meanwhile, the moment he had burst through the mansion and shot into the sky, everyone gathered outside immediately noticed him. Spencer, Nathan, Amelia, Rin, Sasha, Riya, Lilith, Athena, Wahid and his two wives, along with his grandfathers Boris and Malakor Harrington, all raised their heads almost simultaneously.

Their eyes immediately locked onto the lone figure floating more than a thousand meters above them.

For a moment, nobody said anything. After witnessing just how terrifying the heat produced during Aditya’s cultivation had become, none of them could look at his sudden ascent calmly.

"He is about to break through." Malakor Harrington said while staring at Aditya’s figure high above the city.

Wahid’s expression immediately became more serious. "Should we activate the defensive barrier dome around the entire city?"

After what they had just witnessed, Wahid did not think that such a precaution was excessive. The absorption process alone had nearly set the entire city on fire. If they had reacted any later and failed to contain the heat coming from the Harrington mansion, ordinary citizens might already have started dying.

And that had only been the absorption process. Now, Aditya was about to break through to Beginner Sixth Order. More importantly, reaching the Sixth Order meant that he would have to face a Heavenly Tribulation.

There was no telling exactly what might happen once the tribulation began. He immediately turned toward the commander of the Harrington Family troops. "Activate every defensive barrier protecting the city. I want the entire defensive dome fully operational as quickly as possible."

"Yes, Lord Wahid."

"And there is one more thing." Wahid’s expression became extremely cold and serious. "From this moment onward, until Aditya successfully completes his breakthrough, completely seal the city."

"No one enters. No one leaves. Mobilize the entire Harrington Family army. Secure the walls, the gates, the skies, and every important location throughout the city."

Wahid then looked toward Aditya, who remained more than a thousand meters above them. "This is the most vulnerable moment of his breakthrough. I will not allow anyone to interfere with him."

His voice became even colder. "If anyone attempts to approach Aditya or deliberately interfere with his Heavenly Tribulation, eliminate them immediately."

Wahid paused for a second before adding one final order. "I don’t care about their identity, their background, their status, or their relationship with the Harrington Family. There will be no exceptions." Wahid was willing to go as far as even killing close allies and friends of the Harrington Family. He won’t tolerate any nonsense trying to interfere with his nephew’s breakthrough.

"Yes, Lord Wahid!" The Commander quickly turned around and began issuing commands to the Harrington Family troops.

Within moments, the entire city began moving into a state of complete lockdown. The city’s defensive formations started activating one after another while Harrington Family soldiers rapidly moved toward their assigned positions.

Whatever happened next, they would make sure that no outsider or anyone within the city would be given the opportunity to disturb Aditya’s breakthrough.

Meanwhile, the girls had completely different thoughts as they stared at Aditya high above the city. Every single one of them was extremely worried.

Those among them who had already reached the Sixth Order understood better than anyone just how terrifying a Heavenly Tribulation could be. They had personally experienced it before, so they knew that even a single strike of Heavenly Thunder was no joke.

A cultivator attempting to break through had to endure the Heavenly Tribulation using their own strength. If their body, cultivation, or defenses were not powerful enough to withstand the strikes, the consequences could be devastating.

"Should we... help him somehow?" Rin asked hesitantly. She knew interfering with a Heavenly Tribulation was dangerous, but simply standing here and watching Aditya face it alone made her feel helpless.

Athena immediately shook her head. "There is nothing we can do for him right now."

Her words made the expressions of the other girls become even heavier.

"The only thing we can do is believe that Aditya will overcome this trial by himself." Athena continued while keeping her eyes fixed on him. "We cannot interfere. We cannot even get too close to him."

Rin looked at Athena in confusion.

Athena explained in a serious tone. "A Heavenly Tribulation is meant specifically for the person attempting the breakthrough. If another cultivator enters its range and tries to interfere, the Heavenly Tribulation will recognise that person as someone attempting to challenge it as well."

"And once that happens, the situation will become far worse. The Heavenly Tribulation will no longer restrain its power to match Aditya’s breakthrough. Instead, it will respond to the interference with its full force." Everyone immediately understood what Athena was implying.

"At that point, even a Seventh Order cultivator could potentially be killed by a single strike of Heavenly Thunder." Hearing this, Rin immediately abandoned any thought of approaching Aditya.

The girls could only remain where they were and stare helplessly at the lone figure floating more than a thousand meters above the city.

None of them liked it. None of them wanted to simply stand there while someone they loved faced something so dangerous alone. But this was one battle in which they could not stand beside him.

This was Aditya’s Heavenly Tribulation. And he had to overcome it by himself.
