Dragon Monarch System Chapter 1151:- Everyone wants Aditya; Fighting for Territory
Previously on Dragon Monarch System...
"Lilith. Play by the rules. Don’t push your luck." Amelia warned through slightly gritted teeth, but Lilith merely looked at her with an amused expression.
"Or else what?" Lilith immediately taunted back.
"You...!" Amelia’s face began turning red from anger. She knew perfectly well that Lilith was deliberately provoking her, yet that did not make it any easier to remain calm.
Seeing her rival’s reaction, Lilith naturally continued. "Riya, Sasha, and I all have an intimate relationship with Aditya. But what about you?" A teasing smile appeared on her face as she looked directly at Amelia.
"On what basis are you fighting over him?" That question immediately struck Amelia where it hurt the most.
Of course, she loved Aditya very much. Her feelings for him were genuine, but unlike Lilith, Amelia was far more reserved and traditional when it came to romance. She was also much more timid about openly expressing such feelings, which was one of the main reasons she had made almost no progress with Aditya despite how she felt about him.
However, none of that mattered in the current argument. Amelia certainly was not going to admit her hidden feelings simply because Lilith had provoked her.
"I am fighting for my daughter’s right." Amelia immediately replied, finding the perfect reason to justify her involvement.
"You mother and daughter are bullying my daughter. Of course, as her mother, I have to stand up and fight for her right."
"Well, unfortunately for you, the order has already been decided." Lilith replied without showing the slightest intention of compromising. "Sasha is going first, I am going second, and your daughter is going third. So Riya can go to the very back of the line and patiently wait for her turn."
Lilith’s smile became even more annoying as she added. "Her turn should come in... maybe six or seven hours."
Hearing that ridiculous estimate, both Amelia and Riya immediately understood what Lilith was implying. Once Sasha finally had Aditya to herself, she was not going to willingly let him go after only a short while.
Lilith was even worse. If the two of them were genuinely allowed to take their turns before Riya, then several hours could easily pass before either woman felt satisfied enough to hand Aditya over.
By then, six or seven hours could have passed without anyone even realizing it. The entire night would practically be over, and dawn might already be approaching by the time Riya’s so-called turn finally arrived. For Amelia, that only made Lilith’s proposed order even more unacceptable.
"Woo! This is intense!" Laura whispered to Rin while watching the argument from a safe distance. What had started as a simple disagreement over who would get Aditya’s attention first had somehow turned into a proper conflict between two sides.
"I don’t want to get involved." Rin quietly replied.
"Mee here."
"Who would have thought that things would become this intense without Sister Julia and Sister Alicia here?" Rin and Laura sighed at the same time. The competition was so fierce that neither girl wanted to fight for Aditya even though they were tempted to.
Normally, Julia and Alicia’s presence kept the hierarchy among the girls clear enough that arguments like this rarely went very far. But with both of them absent, the established order had suddenly been questioned, and now two separate factions had formed around Aditya.
On one side were Sasha and Lilith, while Riya and Amelia stood firmly on the other. Rin and Laura had absolutely no desire to join either side and become targets themselves.
Instead, the two remained together and watched everything with great interest. There was even a hint of amusement in their eyes. As long as nobody dragged them into the argument, watching the mother-daughter pairs fight over Aditya was actually quite entertaining.
Unfortunately for them, Amelia eventually ran out of ways to convince Lilith and Sasha. She could already tell that continuing the same argument would accomplish nothing. Every reason she gave would simply receive another response from Lilith, and they would continue going back and forth without ever reaching a conclusion.
Amelia looked around the room, searching for someone neutral who could settle the matter. Her gaze eventually landed on Rin and Laura, who were sitting together and watching the entire argument as though it were some interesting show.
"Rin and Laura. You two decide which system should be followed." Amelia suddenly said.
The amusement immediately disappeared from their faces.
Before either girl could find a way to escape the responsibility, Lilith also turned toward them. Naturally, she was not going to allow Amelia to influence their decision without presenting her own argument.
"You two should think carefully about which system is actually better for you as well." Lilith said.
"Back at the Dragon Palace, we always have to respect the established order and wait for our turns according to the hierarchy. But Sister Julia and Sister Alicia aren’t here tonight."
Lilith smiled as she presented what she believed was the greatest advantage of her proposal. "This is a rare opportunity for all of us to completely ignore the hierarchy for one night. Whoever gets Aditya first gets to spend time with him first. Think about it."
"If we follow the usual order, some of you will always have to wait behind the elder sisters. But if we follow the first-come, first-served system, even the youngest sister has a chance to go first."
Hearing that, Rin and Laura exchanged glances. A moment ago, they had been perfectly happy watching the fight from the sidelines. Now, somehow, the responsibility of deciding which side won had fallen directly into their hands.
"If you two agree with me, then I might even let both of you join in the fun for a short while." Lilith added with a playful wink toward Rin and Laura. At this point, she was not even trying to hide what she was doing. She was openly tempting the two girls into supporting her side by offering them something in return.
"Hey! That’s not fair." Amelia immediately protested when she realized what Lilith was doing. "Why are you trying to bribe them with temptation?"
"So what?" Lilith asked without showing the slightest bit of shame. Instead, the smirk on her face only grew wider.
"Everything is fair in love and war."
"You are shameless." Amelia replied while staring at her rival in disbelief.
"Yup!" Lilith proudly admitted without even attempting to defend herself. Being called shameless had absolutely no effect on her. If acting shamelessly helped her win this argument, then she was more than willing to embrace it.
Meanwhile, Rin and Laura found themselves trapped in an increasingly awkward position. A few moments ago, they had been happily watching everything from the sidelines, but now both sides were expecting them to make a decision. Worse, Lilith had started openly bribing them while Amelia was waiting for them to give what she considered the reasonable answer.
If they were being completely honest, neither Rin nor Laura wanted to support either side. Regardless of which system they chose, they would lose something. Supporting the usual hierarchy would place them behind the elder sisters as always, while supporting Lilith’s first-come, first-served system would create its own problems and could easily turn every future night into another competition.
There was also the much more immediate problem of choosing sides.
If they supported Amelia and Riya, Lilith and Sasha would certainly remember it. If they supported Lilith and Sasha, then Riya and Amelia would not exactly be pleased with them either. What had started as an entertaining argument suddenly felt much less amusing now that they were being forced to participate in it.
Rin quietly glanced at Laura, hoping that she had some clever solution. Laura looked back at her with almost the exact same expression. Neither wanted to become the unfortunate person responsible for deciding the winner of this fight.
While everyone else was busy arguing over which system they should follow, Athena quietly noticed an opportunity that none of them seemed to be paying attention to. Rather than wasting her time joining the argument, she silently moved toward the bed and slipped beneath the blanket before positioning herself on top of Aditya.
Aditya looked at her in surprise, but Athena immediately raised a finger and gestured for him to remain silent. A teasing smile appeared on her face as she slipped her hands beneath his T-shirt and slowly ran them across his body. While the others continued arguing only a short distance away, Athena took full advantage of their distraction and began removing his clothes.
It took some time before Riya finally noticed that someone was missing.
"Where is Athena?" Riya asked as she looked around the bedroom. She found it strange that Athena had suddenly disappeared without anyone noticing.
"Did she leave?" She asked Sasha.
"I didn’t hear the door open." Sasha replied while also beginning to look around.
Their argument temporarily forgotten, everyone curiously searched the bedroom for Athena. It did not take long before their gazes eventually stopped on the bed. Beneath the blanket, there was clearly a figure moving around with Aditya.
For a few seconds, everyone simply stared. Then they immediately understood what had happened.
"How dare she take him while we were fighting?" Lilith exclaimed, instantly becoming furious. While everyone else had been arguing about who deserved the first turn, Athena had completely ignored their debate and simply taken Aditya for herself.
Sasha reacted immediately. She grabbed the blanket and pulled it away with one strong motion, exposing Athena just as she was in the middle of pulling Aditya’s T-shirt off.
Athena froze. At the same time, she felt very displeased that she was exposed.
Everyone stared at her. But she felt no shame, unlike Laura.
"Back off, woman! He is mine!" Lilith immediately lunged toward Athena, no longer caring about the argument from a moment ago.
"No. He is mine!" Riya quickly followed after her, refusing to allow Lilith to gain an advantage.
"I got him first!" Sasha shouted before joining them as well. If anyone had the right to complain about Athena stealing Aditya, Sasha believed it was clearly her.
Amelia watched the three women rush toward the bed and hesitated for only a brief moment. She had originally entered the argument claiming that she was merely protecting her daughter’s rights, but seeing everyone else rushing toward Aditya made that excuse increasingly difficult to maintain.
In the end, she also jumped onto the bed.
