Aditya offers a powerful cultivator trapped in the Purple Hell her freedom in exchange for 50 years of service. After demonstrating his superior teleportation abilities, she agrees. Aditya then transforms her into a Vermillion Inferno Dragon Vampire using his divine dragon blood, significantly boosting her power and cultivation to mid-7th-order.

’This trip is already proving to be extremely rewarding.’ Aditya gained a really powerful subordinate with the cultivation of the Mid-7th-order.

’Still, I am not sure if she is strong enough to fight Peak 7th-order cultivators now.’ Because the power and stats gap between Beginner, Mid, and Peak cultivators in higher orders is so much bigger.

’But I am sure she could win against any Mid 7th-order now.’ Aditya was extremely pleased with all the positive changes. With her having his divine dragon blood, there was 0% chances of her betraying him.

"My Lord, are we heading out of this damned place?" She was so excited that she hurried to leave this place. She wanted to go out and find an opponent to test her abilities.

Aditya shook his head. "I am recruiting more subordinates."

"Follow me."

"Why the fuck didn’t you kill Aditya when you had the chance?" Ren let out a furious roar as soon as he learned that his enemy and the enemy of the organisation, Aditya, was still alive. Among all the members of the Organisation who have faced Aditya, Victor was the first person to come this close to killing Aditya.

Yet, in that moment, this bastard had decided not to kill Aditya and instead spare his life.

"Do not yell at me." Victor responded in a cold tone while leaking a little bit of his killing intent towards Ren.

But Ren wasn’t affected by this killing intent.

"My plan was to make him suffer first before killing him. I killed this uncle and was about to kill his women and the rest of his family when the barrier started collapsing, so we had no choice but to abandon our mission." Words cannot explain just how angry he was at Victor. Ren felt that he had the best chance of killing Aditya once and for all and removing this piece of headache from everyone’s life, yet he decided to be selfish in that freaking moment.

"Bastard, you still could have landed that finishing blow before leaving." Ren almost grabbed Victor by his collar. But Victor was a Peak 7th-order powerhouse and extremely brutal-natured. This Unhinged demon might not hesitate even for a second before killing Ren because of his actions.

"Aditya hadn’t suffered enough yet." Victor replied in a cold tone.

Victor’s victory was in making Aditya suffer the most. He wanted to break Aditya completely, killing him. Ending him in a single blow would be too merciful. That man deserved to lose everything he had before dying.

"Fuck you and your petty revenge."

Hearing this, Victor frowned and was about to warn Ren to control his tongue. But the Emperor continued. "Because of you, they managed to save Wahid’s life."

"Good thing he lost his cultivation."

"You guys had everything. Yet, you failed to at least kill Boris or Harrington. This mission was an utter failure." Ren blamed everyone who returned alive from this mission.

"Malakor Harrington and Boris are both still alive. Aditya, although severely injured, is also still alive. Did I send you on this mission for personal revenge?"

"Fuck off!!!" Victor replied in a cold tone while raising his middle finger at Ren. He did not give a single damn about Ren’s motives or even the motives of the Organisation. More than anyone else, Victor understood the truth behind this mission. The Organisation itself had far less interest in this operation than the Emperor did.

In Victor’s eyes, this mission was never truly about serving the Organisation’s goals. It was largely driven by the Emperor’s personal interests and ambitions. Whether Ren succeeded or failed made little difference to him. The only thing Victor cared about was settling his own score with Aditya.

"Because of your selfish reason, this obstacle called Aditya still exists in this world. Because of your failure, every one of us now has another headache to deal with." If Ren could, he would have slept Victor until his palms turned red.

"Or maybe you are reacting this way because you are actually afraid of Aditya." Victor always felt that Ren was afraid of Aditya. He was afraid of losing power. This is why he was acting like a coward.

"What did you say?" Hearing this, Ren nearly lost his cool.

"You are afraid of your own little cousin. You are afraid of a mere mid-fifth-order cultivator, despite having the strength of a seventh-order cultivator. You should be ashamed."

"I don’t understand why the organization things that Aditya is a big obstacle that stands in its path. When he is just a mere mid-fifth-order cultivator who could be killed at any given moment as long as he is within the main continent."

"Yes, it’s very regretful that the former Sect Leader failed to kill Boris and Renji, and Harry together failed to kill Malakor Harrington. Even if one of them had died, the anti-emperor faction would have been significantly weakened." Even Victor himself was disappointed by their performance. Even after having detailed info about their abilities and having so much time to prepare, they still failed to leave any permanent damage on any one of them.

"But no, that’s not what you are worried about right now. You are worried about a bastard who is not even a peak fifth-order cultivator."

These words were extremely disrespectful to the Emperor of the Celestial Dragon Empire. But the Emperor himself was just another core member of the organisation, just like Victor. And there was nothing he could do to punish Victor for what he was saying except to endure.

Ren was so angry that his entire body was shaking in rage. But Victor did not even give a damn about what kind of reaction the emperor was having.

"Enough!" Leo entered the meeting room. But from a single word that came from his mouth, it was clear that he had heard the whole conversation that both of them had.

"Victor, you clearly knew what the objective of this mission was."

"The organisation is not afraid of a single mid-fifth-order cultivator. The organisation is wary of the impact that this single mid-fifth-order cultivator could do to the entire main continent."

"Aditya was your target, and you purposely chose not to kill him. You will be punished for purposely failing to complete your mission." Hearing Leo’s cold words, Victor could not say anything in his defence.

He had no choice but to silently listen to whatever the leader was saying. The Supreme power of the organisation’s leader was absolute, and those who have questioned his power have always met brutal ends.

Leo was angry at Victor. Not only did he intentionally leave Aditya alive, but he also had the audacity to sit here and be arrogant about it. If not for the fact that Sophia was dead and they needed Victor to control the Night Rider Sect, Leo wouldn’t have hesitated to kill him. In fact, Victor would have been killed the moment he returned to this base.

With Sophia gone, the Night Rider Sect would go out of their firm grasp and influence without someone from their organisation running it. Just getting Sophia to be the Sect Leader had taken a ton of resources and lots of convincing.

The Night Rider Sect have been under their control for the last few thousand years. Now, suddenly losing the Night Rider Sect would be a big loss to the organisation.

’If I kill Victor, we lose our grip on the Sect. This will make Ren more arrogant and demanding as he would understand that the Organisation will rely more on him. This is something that I cannot let happen.’

Sophia was the perfect core member. She wasn’t arrogant or rude like Victor. She was very obedient and always fulfilled her missions. Unfortunately, instead of Victor dying, she was the one who died.

"Victor, take the next few days off. Take a break from the organisation." Hearing this, Victor understood that he was being shadow-banned from the Organisation because of this failure. But that itself was still a very tiny punishment compared to the fates of those who acted like Victor in the past.

"Anyways, in a few days, you will be officially named as the Third Successor of the Night Rider Sect. You will need time to prepare for this." Victor remained silent. He offered nothing in response.

He felt he had not made any mistakes. It was the Organisation that had become spineless ever since it met a certain individual who claims that he is the Dragon Monarch.

Under everyone’s watch, Victor stood up and began to leave. Before leaving the meeting room, he exchanged a glance with Leo. Both of them tried to read each other in that moment.

Victor saw deception and fake politeness.

While Leo saw resentment and frustration.
