Dragon Monarch System Chapter 1082:- Recruiting
Previously on Dragon Monarch System...
"Can you tell when Wahid will regain his consciousness?" Harrington asked the alchemist who came to check on Wahid. He was one of the best alchemists within the entire Harrington Faction. Among the entire faction, he held a very high status and respect.
Even Malakor Harrington had to speak to him in a tone of respect because his value could not be underestimated.
"Uncle, I have tried my best. And the result is in front of your eyes." Harrington had a feeling that he would get this kind of answer. So he nodded his head with a disappointed look.
"I have completed a full body examination. I could not find anything that might be behind the reason for his being in a comatose state."
"My guess is that the damage to Wahid’s internal organs was far worse than it appeared. Under normal circumstances, his cultivation would have supported his body’s healing and vitality. Once that cultivation vanished, the accumulated injuries struck all at once, causing his body to collapse."
"By the way, I heard that your grandson woke up." Harrington nodded back with a small smile. At least, Aditya woke up. This was very relieving to him. No one could understand just how tense, stressed, and worried he was in the last two days.
"Then take good care of him."
"I will be taking my leave."
Athena, Rin, and Freya all listened to the conversation that Harrington had with the alchemist.
"Aunty, don’t worry, everything will be fine. It’s too early to lose hope." Zahira nodded her head with an exhausted look. Since that battle, she and Yuna had not taken a moment to rest. The whole time, they stayed by Wahid’s side.
To not mention the countless drops of tears that fell from their eyes. As a result, after multiple days and nights of doing this, their faces looked exhausted, and their eyes looked slightly puffy, like someone who has been crying for a long time.
"If things don’t work here, then we could take Uncle to our sister, the Goddess of Alchemy." Hearing this, Yuna’s eyes lit up.
"Is it possible for her to come here?" She asked in a hurried tone.
But Rin shook her head. "She is not from the Main Continent and hasn’t yet reached 5th-order. So she won’t be able to travel to the Main Continent because of the restriction."
"But we could write a letter to her explaining everything. Maybe she could recommend something that might help Uncle Wahid." Hearing this, even Zahira came closer to be a part of this conversation.
"Then we will need someone to personally deliver the letter to Julia." Hearing this, Athena thought of Alfred. He was the best person for the job.
"Grandpa Alfred....!!" Alfred was silently standing by Boris’s side when he heard Athena calling him.
After explaining everything to Alfred, the girls decided to return to Aditya’s room. Now that he had woken up, they wanted to spend as much time as they could with him.
But the moment they opened the door to his bedroom, they saw that he was not in the room.
But what panicked them is the fact that the window that faced towards the outside forest beyond the city was open.
"Aditya...!!!" The trio hurriedly rushed to the window, hoping to catch a glimpse of him in the distance. But they could not see anything. It was already too late.
.....
"What happened?" Harrington, Boris, Alfred, and others came to Aditya’s room hearing the commotion.
"Aditya is gone."
"What?"
"When did it happen?"
"We don’t know."
"We came to his room with the intention of sitting here and wait until he is awake. But when we entered his room, he was gone, and the window was open. He must have left through the window." Boris and Alfred looked at each other in confusion. What could possibly motivate Aditya to suddenly leave without telling anyone?
"Was he kidnapped?" Asked Yuna.
Athena shook her head. "This is very highly unlikely."
"Not even the organization could just sneak into the mansion as they pleased and kidnap him."
"The only explanation that I can think of is that he left on his own using long range teleportation."
"Why would he leave?"
"Isn’t it simple? He left because he wanted revenge. I saw the look on his face when he woke up and asked me about what happened after afterwards."
"At that time, he wasn’t going to listen to anybody. I could tell that just from the look on his face that he was extremely determined to get revenge on Victor and the rest of the night Rider sect."
" I’m sorry to say this, but with this much power, he just wants to die if he thinks he could get revenge." Zahira said to everyone, then continued with. " before Aditya does anything reckless we must find him and bring him back."
"Trust me, we all want revenge."
"Seeing my husband like this, seeing what they have done to my boy Aditya, seeing what they have done to the rest of the city, the flame of revenge in me burns as strong as his. But this is no way of getting revenge."
Everyone here felt the same. But deep down everyone here also understood that in this crucial moment, it was not the time for revenge. The entire Harrington faction have suffered a massive blow.
Right now, it was important for Aditya to stay and calm everyone. Whether he likes it or not, he was the leader of the anti emperor faction. After the attack, it was normal for his allies to have some doubts in him.
What he needed to do more than getting revenge was to calm everyone’s mind and reassure everyone that this is not a losing side.
" Even I have to agree that Aditya made a mistake here." Freya sided with Zahira.
"He should not have been this much reckless."
However, Boris remain totally silent. He could totally understand what was going on in his grandson’s head. But even he had to admit that Aditya made a mistake here.
"Let’s look for him."
"We cannot let the allies know that Aditya had gone on his way to get revenge. For now, let’s tell everyone that he is focusing on Recovery and day after tomorrow he will meet everyone." Malakor Harrington was confident that by yesterday they will find him.
While everyone was looking for Aditya, he himself had teleported to the very same place where he had went to find his grandfather.
He had returned to the dragon Mountain range.
Aditya had only one thought in his mind right now, and that was revenge. But that did not mean he planned to phase Victor and the rest of the night Rider Sect on his own.
Doing this would mean suicide.
What he needed right now was an army of his own. He needed powerful subordinates who could support him in this conquest of vengeance.
Aditya understood the fact that there were many cultivators who were stuck in this dragon Mountain range for many generations. These cultivators are really desperate to get out of this place.
Aditya could take advantage of the desperation and make them work for him.
He had no problem, seeing through the purple dense fog that surrounded the entire dragon mountain range.
So after entering the dragon Mountain range, he begun looking for powerful cultivators, who were stuck here.
Within 10 minutes of entering the dragon Mountain range, Aditya found his first target.
It was a woman with light blonde hair and pale skin.
She had red eyes. Her appearance suggested that she might be a vampire.
The woman was currently trying to sleep in a small cave that she had dug under a massive boulder.
In this dangerous place where cultivators could not see anything within the dense purple fog, this was her only solution to stay safe and not be hunted by magic animals.
The woman who was trying to get a peaceful sleep, felt that there was someone outside of her cave. She cautiously opened her eyes and tried to see who it was.
She found a man whose hands and one leg was wrapped in bandage. He was missing half of his leg.
Seeing this, she became less cautious and came out of the cave.
Another reason why she decided to come out of the cave is because the smell of his blood was the most delicious thing that she had ever smelled.
Back when she was not trapped within the Dragon Mountain Range, she had tasted the blood of countless beings across the Main Continent. With her vast experience, she could identify most bloodlines from their scent alone. Yet the fragrance emanating from his blood was unlike anything she had ever encountered. She was absolutely certain, so certain that she would wager her very life on it, that his blood would be the most delicious and exquisite thing she had ever tasted in her entire existence.
"You smell amazing." This was the first thing she said after coming out of the cave.
"I do have divine dragon blood in me." Aditya replied in a neutral tone.
"But I’m not here to give you blood. I’m here with a proposal that you cannot refuse."
The woman crossed her arms under her chest. "I’m interested. Go on." the reason she was so relaxed in front of him is because she could feel that he wasn’t a strong cultivator, not to mention the injuries on his body. If needed, she could take him down at any given second.
"I can see through the dense purple fog that surrounds this entire place. If you agree to serve me for a period of 50 years, then I will take you out of this place." Aditya did not try to sugar his words with anything. He straight up, got to the main point.
He could feel that she was a seventh order cultivator. Having someone strong as her would massively help him in his quest of vengeance.
"Interesting!" But the women felt that she could get this done the other way as well.
"Why should I agree to serve you for 50 years when I could just put a blade against your throat and ask you to lead me out of this hell?"
"Because you cannot catch me." Before she could say any word, he displayed his abilities by teleporting out of her vision.
"Right now, you cannot see me beyond the purple dense mist. But I can see your exact position and location very precisely. With the power of teleportation, you have literal no chance of defeating me or even catching me off guard."
