Dragon Monarch System Chapter 1025:- Judgment of Scales and Fire
Previously on Dragon Monarch System...
"Fuck off!!!!!!!!" Carrick roared furiously, unleashing his ferocious Aura as a Beginner 7th Order cultivator. At that instant, Rin lost her ability to confine him within the Spiritual World. The pitch-black abyss enveloping him shattered right away.
Carrick returned.
Rin spat out a massive gush of blood and dropped to her knees from the backlash. Dizziness washed over her immediately, her sight blurring into darkness for several seconds.
As soon as he regained consciousness and spotted the goddess of wisdom with her forehead touching Aditya's, he grasped her intentions.
"Die with him." From behind, he launched a ruthless icy stab at her neck. Yet the very instant his strike flew was when the third second ticked by.
Aditya's eyes snapped open, fixing a icy glare on Carrick. The poison-smeared dagger from Carrick whiffed entirely. Nothing remained where Aditya and Athena had stood.
By lowering his body gravity, Aditya boosted his speed dramatically. For powerhouses like them, each second stretched like a vital minute. A mere 25% or 30% reduction in weight dramatically enhanced his nimbleness.
Aditya blinked to his right side, clutching Athena around the waist, and targeted Carrick's head once more. Carrick stayed frozen, unmoving, eyes locked on Aditya's prior position.
He believed the blow would end him, yet in the final instant, a shadow tentacle coiled around Aditya's wrist, deflecting the assault's path.
Before comprehending the situation, the shadow tentacle enveloped his form completely, restraining him tightly. The grip proved unbreakable, leaving Aditya immobile.
"Got you!" Flashing a maniacal, brutal smirk, Carrick formed a shadow spearhead in his hand and thrust it at Aditya's neck.
The second his strike landed on Aditya, their figures burst into swarms of minuscule fireflies. These fireflies drifted straight toward him. Mistaking it for a stealthy assault, Carrick raised his free hand to guard his face, only to discover it was mere illusion.
"Dammit!"
He swiftly detected their locations and activated Shadow Manipulation once more.
"Shadow Warp!" Their shadows lifted from the ground, twisting upward to ensnare their bodies. Moreover, these shadows voraciously sapped their Mana and health points.
Athena flashed him a sly smirk.
At that sight, Carrick sensed trouble brewing instantly.
"Rin, do it!" Glancing at Rin, his eyes bulged wide. Ignoring her had been his grave error, and worse, the other figure was nowhere in sight near her.
Realization struck him far too late.
"Carrick, drop your weapons and surrender yourself." As the Goddess of Wisdom, Rin's voice served as her deadliest armament. Even Beginner 7th-order cultivators couldn't fully resist its enchanting pull.
A brief few seconds sufficed for their purposes.
Rin's enchanting voice froze Carrick in place. Caught in her vocal charm, his gaze turned vacant, a foolish grin spreading as though beholding his ultimate idol.
The effect lasted just one second. Carrick snapped free and bellowed in rage at Rin.
Aditya glanced at Athena with a nod. She picked up the cue and nodded back.
Double Gravity Manipulation struck, multiplying Carrick’s body weight by 25 times abruptly. His speed plummeted, agility crippled severely.
『Additional Function 2 - Unity of the Scales - This function allows the host to grant 30% of his total stats to selected Dragonians or those who possess a drop of his blood. This sharing does not reduce or affect the host’s own stats in any way. Instead, the chosen individuals will receive a direct 30% increase based on the host’s current stats.
The host can also share any one selected innate or passive skill, allowing the target to temporarily use that ability.
This capability is limited to three individuals at a time, and the effect lasts for ten minutes.』
Right when Athena pulled him from the Terror of Death, he transferred 30% of his stats plus Gravity Manipulation to her. Such sharing left his own skills intact for use. Rather, she gained access to one of his selected innate abilities.
This setup birthed their present advantage.
With Gravity surging 25 times on Carrick, the earth underfoot fractured and compacted, dropping him 10 inches lower.
"Laura, do it!" Some 100 meters off, concealed behind a tree, Laura quietly powered up Percy's latest Solar Cannon model. Just a handful existed, and Aditya had brought one along.
This cutting-edge, ultimate Solar Cannon charged far quicker for blasts. Moments prior to Aditya's brush with Terror of Death, she'd unpacked it and begun charging. Staying hidden prevented notice, while Aditya, Rin, and Athena bombarded Carrick nonstop, blocking his senses from wandering elsewhere.
A blazing golden light beam slammed into Carrick's prior wound from Aditya's black sword.
Carrick hurtled through the air. His flight path demolished innumerable tree trunks with his back.
Yet the fight raged on. A Beginner 7th-order like him wouldn't fall to a cannon lethal only to Peak 6th-orders at best. Thus, Laura struck his weak point, buying Aditya precious extra seconds.
"Aditya, do it now!!!" Aditya vanished before their eyes.
The blast propelled Carrick almost 1000 meters. At the end, he summoned myriad tentacles, anchoring them to trees to brake his momentum and soften landing.
Upon touchdown, his weight ballooned anew. Less intense than prior, yet 15 times normal, hindering him greatly. Meanwhile, Aditya's frame lightened by 50%.
Aditya materialized atop Carrick’s chest. The arrogant Carrick boiled with rage at his foe perched there. Fury beyond description consumed him already.
"Lizard, I will kill you!!!" Aditya wasted no time.
His jaws parted. Inside lurked an eyeball-sized, ultra-compressed Crimson inferno blended with Crimson lightning.
All along, he'd covertly funneled Mana to form and condense this orb in his maw, concealing it from Carrick's foresight.
Post all enhancements, Aditya's Mana topped [12000+]. Over [10000+] poured into forging this tiny Crimson inferno empowered by Crimson Lightning.
Accompanied by a booming Dragon Roar, a Crimson ray blasted Carrick’s face. Gravity's burden pinned him immobile. This Mana-draining strike packed devastating might.
Undeniably, Aditya's strongest assault ever.
The Organisation's elite core unleashed a bloodcurdling shriek, chilling every Magic Animal nearby. In moments, Carrick’s face and form charred unrecognizably.
Portions of him crumbled to ash. Bones elsewhere blackened like coal. His grotesque, nightmarish visage repulsed utterly.
Aditya's mouth seared too from the colossal force expelled through it.
Carrick teetered on death's edge, moments from expiring. Life flickered faintly.
"Hahahaha!!!!" Aditya cackled wickedly, finger jabbing at Carrick.
Never had humiliation cut deeper—even surpassing defeat by his brother amid thousands.
"I don’t call myself the Dragon Monarch because I want attention. I have come this far killing hundreds of bastards like you."
"You said something about ripping my woman’s heart before killing me." Aditya hawked a glob of spit onto the charred ruin of a face, then stomped, pulverizing the skull's remnants.
"Your heart is an overcooked, filthy shit that even the wild dogs of my Empire would not eat." Saying that, Aditya turned and strode off.
Each chuckle and phrase burned his scorched lips painfully. Yet victory sweetened it all. How dare some illegitimate whelp menace the Dragon Monarch?
"This is a powerful Artefact called the Mana Reservoir. It contains 10,000 units of Mana."
"I was going to use it when I ran out of Mana. But now, I will burn whatever I have left in me to take all of you with me to hell." Abruptly, a vast black magic circle spanning 10,000 km blanketed the forest and Dragon Mountain Range.
Aditya went rigid at the sight.
"See you in a few seconds if there is an afterlife." By then, the Magic Circle blazed at full intensity.
The next second,
