A massive crowd exceeding a hundred thousand gathered outside the capital, cheering fervently for Emperor Aditya and showering him with adoring nicknames. Touched by their love, Aditya reflected on his past experiences with corruption on Earth and his commitment to a corruption-free Istarin Empire, waving to amplify the deafening cheers. The Dragon Palace completed its upgrade to Level Three, rising 400 meters as a magnificent palace atop a vast 400,000 square meter floating island ringed by orbiting diamond pillars, leaving a deep crater in its wake.

Ding! Congratulations! The Dragon Palace is now at Level Three. Thanks to the extra materials provided, its size has expanded significantly. Brand-new functions and features have been unlocked.

’Finally!!!’ The wait had dragged on forever, yet it paid off big time. The Dragon Palace now perched atop a floating island made every moment worthwhile.

’What Emperor boasts a palace on a damn floating island?’ The idea alone swelled Aditya’s chest with pride.

『Ding! Congratulations! You can now detect any threat targeting the Istarin Empire. This alert triggers only for dangers beyond the Istarin troops’ handling. You’ll pinpoint the threat’s precise spot inside the Empire.』

’This ability rocks!’ It lets him strike first ahead of everyone. Usually, attack news crawls up the command chain to him. Now, he shaves off precious minutes and responds instantly.

’My constant vigilance covers the whole Empire now.’ As Dragon Monarch, he’ll guard his realm and leap into action at any peril.

『Ding! Congratulations! The Dragon Palace can now perform one random teleport anywhere in Istarin Empire territory. A 30-day cooldown follows each use.』

Ding! Dragon Palace upgraded to level 3. Care to check its description and functions?

Aditya shook his head. Right now, he yearned to gaze upon and savor the Dragon Palace’s architecture—the place he’d soon call home.

’This island’s sheer size turns the Dragon Palace into a full-blown mid-sized city.’ Amusement bubbled in Aditya at the thought.

The floating island bearing the Dragon Palace was enormous, spanning almost 400,000 square meters—several times bigger than its former self. Jagged edges featured stone chunks drifting and fusing back, as if the island breathed. From underneath, subtle mana streams cascaded like hidden falls, lending an aura of enigma and might.

Suspended high above, the entire island hung perfectly steady, untouched by wobbles or jolts. The heavens seemed to cradle it firmly.

Towering metallic walls endured, now enhanced—thicker, tougher, sleeker. Encircling the Dragon Palace completely, they soared to 25 meters tall, radiating even greater dominance. Their silver-black sheen stayed pristine, unmarked.

The see-through defensive dome persisted. Like a giant bubble, it sheathed the floating island. Denser and brighter now, it resembled a stunning crystal sphere embracing the whole landmass.

Fewer bluish crystal pillars orbited, yet superior in caliber. Each emitted a soft hum while circling the palace. Now and then, energy sparks leaped between them, weaving fleeting links before vanishing.

Everything’s scale had ballooned dramatically from before.

"Congratulations, Your Majesty!" Spencer shot Aditya a glance.

Smiles lit their faces as they exchanged looks.

Aditya eyed his siblings, then his women. "This is our home from here on out." Smiles beamed everywhere.

The moment felt utterly momentous for all.

"Let’s go in!" Aditya called to the gathering.

"To mark this epic event, the capital throws a three-day, three-night festival in your honor. Free food and drinks for all city folk. Markets stay buzzing, streets alive with shows, tunes, and festivities."

"And for today’s attendees, special grub and beverages get handed out right away. Nobody leaves empty-handed from this spectacle."

His announcement ignited roaring cheers. True to form, the Dragon Monarch crushed foes mercilessly but showered kindness on his people—this sealed it.

Off to the side, Spencer broke into a sweat. His workload was insane already; now this fest oversight dumped on him too.

’Damn it!!!!! ’ Tears nearly welled up. He alone drowned in woe. His wife beside him pitied him briefly, then grinned and dove into the merriment.

She’d befriended capital locals lately and rushed to chat with them.

Spencer’s misery deepened at the sight.

"Don’t sweat it—the whole Empire’s got your back." Aditya clapped his shoulder, murmuring reassurance.

That wouldn’t lighten his load much. Overseeing it all fell to him, and even with hordes of aides and troops, the chore loomed massive.

Aditya flicked his hand. The Dragon Palace crew teleported back inside instantly. Aria stayed to mingle with pals, so he granted her time.

She’d join the Dragon Palace soon enough.

Inside, the Palace looked much the same, but space had ballooned.

Part of Aditya mused it outgrew the ‘Dragon Palace’ name—it was a blasted city now.

The Dragon Palace could house over 300,000 cultivators comfortably. The outer court swelled manifold, carving room for drills, homes, and hangouts sans crowding.

’From 150,000 to 300,000 cultivators supported.’ Massive leap.

More Dragonians and Dragon warriors could train here in this mana-rich haven. Even regular troops might squeeze in for cultivation.

The middle court expanded too. Room grew around the Academy and Smithy for upcoming structures and tests.

The Academy boasted extra halls and dojos, handling bigger crowds for lessons and practice.

The Smithy grew vast, with expanded forges for mass weapon and armor output. Subterranean vaults stretched further for stock and mega-projects.

’Percy’s gonna flip over this.’ He’d griped before about tight Smithy and inner court space, forcing outdoor ship assembly.

True to guess, Percy and crew gawked everywhere, eyes sparkling with thrill.

The core zone transformed hugely. The central Dragon Palace ballooned with added chambers, lounges, and retreats. Hallways widened; the layout screamed grandeur and openness.

The garden sprawled broader, packed with extra trees, blooms, and lawns. Serenity reigned, ideal for unwinding.

Riya and Alicia beamed at the upgrade. More spots for herbs and exotic plants.

"Great that our rare herbs survived unscathed."

"Totally! I panicked for a sec." They shared laughs.

The western training grounds had vastly enlarged. Plenty of room for simultaneous sessions without clashes. The surface toughened, shrugging off heavy hits effortlessly.

"Ideal!" Rin and Alicia lit up most—their top haunt before.

As folks roamed, poking into their revamped home, Aditya lingered at the gate, sensing the mana surge.

The Dragon Palace’s mana density skyrocketed versus before. Once matching the main continent’s, it now rivaled elite Sects’ mana-boosted peaks.

Huge upgrade.

’Perfection couldn’t get better.’
