Max studied the original Seven Divine Veins technique, finding it more profound than Saint Reiner's version. While Saint Reiner's method was practical, the original scripture offered deeper insights into the body's connection to existence. Despite reading the complete technique, Max found no clear path beyond the Seven Divine Veins. He then searched the vast Codex Library, looking for advanced body cultivation methods, but found only scattered knowledge. Deeper within the library, his five Divine Veins reacted to a single, withered page, recognizing it as a gateway to something beyond their current understanding.

Max slowly lowered his gaze to the page. Very few words remained written on it. Most of the text had faded away, leaving only broken marks and incomplete lines. But at the very top of the withered page, one name stayed clear.

Eternal Body.

The moment Max read those two words, his five Divine Veins shook again. This time, the tremor spread through his entire body. His blood slowed for an instant. His bones seemed to grow heavier. His flesh tightened, and his soul felt like it had just heard an ancient echo from a path buried beyond time.

Even his Dimensional Sovereign Body reacted faintly, not with rejection, but with a strange silence, as if it too were paying attention to the name written on the page.

Eternal Body.

Max stared at those words. Now he was certain. Whatever this page mentioned tied directly into the body cultivation path beyond the Seven Divine Veins. The complete Seven Divine Veins technique hadn't given him the answer. Saint Reiner hadn't known the answer.

Even Sarvion had only told him to search the Codex Library and see what turned up. Yet here, in a forgotten corner of this pocket dimension, a withered page had responded to the five Divine Veins inside him.

That couldn't be a coincidence.

Max held the page carefully. The old paper felt fragile, but it didn't crumble. Instead, a faint warmth spread from it into his palm, then flowed toward the five Divine Veins in his body.

His eyes deepened.

"So this is it," Max muttered softly.

The path beyond the Seven Divine Veins. Or at least, the first clue to it.

He looked once more at the name written at the top of the page. Eternal Body. A faint excitement rose in his heart, but he quickly pushed it down. He knew this was only a fragment.

The page didn't hold a complete technique. Most of its contents were missing, and even the remaining lines were barely readable. But for Max, a name alone was already enough to prove Saint Reiner had been right.

The Seven Divine Veins weren't the end. They were only the foundation.

Max held the withered page carefully and left the Codex Library. The moment he stepped out of the pocket dimension, the endless sea of floating books, scrolls, jade slips, inheritance orbs, research files, and ancient fragments disappeared behind him.

The strange silence of that impossible library faded, and the familiar aura of the Primordial Ancestral Domain returned. The dull gray stone door closed behind him without a sound, and the symbol of the open book with a rotating star slowly dimmed until it looked like an ordinary carving again.

Sarvion was still waiting outside. He stood quietly in the corridor with his hands behind his back, as though he hadn't moved at all since Max went in.

The golden mist around him flowed gently, and the ancient symbols on the walls flickered with soft light, but Sarvion's expression stayed calm and unreadable.

When Max walked out, Sarvion turned his gaze toward him. "How was it?" he asked.

Max didn't answer right away. He looked down at the withered page in his hand. Compared to the countless grand records inside the Codex Library, this page looked almost pitiful. It was old, fragile, yellowed by time, and torn along the edges.

Most of the writing had faded away, leaving only broken marks and incomplete traces. Yet the name at the top of the page still carried a strange weight Max couldn't ignore.

Eternal Body.

Those two words had made all five Divine Veins inside him tremble. That alone proved this paper wasn't ordinary.

After a brief silence, Max held out the page and handed it to Sarvion.

"I found something," he said. "Can you tell me where this paper came from?"

Sarvion took the withered page. At first he only looked at it casually, but the moment his eyes landed on the name at the top, his expression shifted slightly. It wasn't shock, but a clear trace of seriousness crossed his gaze now.

He didn't explain right away. Instead, he held the page in the air between them and released a thin stream of primordial energy into it.

"Let me check the records," Sarvion said.

The page floated by itself. A moment later, purple screens appeared around it. They weren't ordinary formation projections. Each screen was made of condensed information runes, with lines of ancient text moving across them rapidly.

Some showed dates. Some showed names. Some showed storage locations. Some showed records of who had touched, studied, sealed, or transferred the page in the past.

The screens circled the withered paper like a group of searching eyes, scanning its origin from every possible trace left behind.

Max watched silently. The Codex Library was strange enough on its own, but now he realized even a single damaged page inside it carried its own recorded history.

The Primordial Race had preserved not just techniques and inheritances, but also the paths those things had traveled to end up in their possession. Every fragment had a source, every relic had a trail, and every broken record still counted as part of a much larger chain of knowledge.

Several breaths passed. The purple screens kept shifting. Then Sarvion's eyes narrowed slightly.

"I found it."

Max's gaze sharpened.

Sarvion looked away from the floating screens and turned to him. "This paper got brought back by a Primordial who entered the Godslayer's Pilgrimage for tempering."

Max's expression shifted. "Godslayer's Pilgrimage."

He repeated the name softly. For a moment, he looked at the withered page again. He wasn't disappointed. If anything, this answer only made his resolve firmer. He'd entered the Codex Library searching for clues about the body cultivation path beyond the Seven Divine Veins, and he'd only found a single broken page.

That page didn't contain a complete technique. It didn't tell him how to cultivate the Eternal Body. It didn't explain what came after opening all seven Divine Veins. It only gave him a name and a direction.

But sometimes a direction was enough.

The Godslayer's Pilgrimage. That was where this page had turned up. That meant the clue he needed didn't sit fully within the Primordial Race, nor did it stay hidden in some ordinary ancient record of the Divine Realm.

It came from that mysterious place beyond the Wall of Eternity, the place where geniuses from all five universes gathered, the place where gods were said to have fallen, the place packed with opportunities, inheritances, dangers, and ancient remnants beyond anything found in the Divine Realm.

Max slowly closed his fingers around the page again after Sarvion handed it back. His eyes deepened. He'd already planned to enter the Godslayer's Pilgrimage before this. Even without this clue, that place gave him the best path to grow stronger quickly.

The Divine Realm wasn't enough for him anymore. Training safely under the Primordial Race didn't suit him. If no Monarch chose him, the pilgrimage would naturally become his next stop.

But now his reason for going ran deeper. He wasn't just entering to compete with the geniuses of the five universes anymore. He wasn't just entering to grab opportunities and prepare for the coming war. He was going to search for the Eternal Body. He was going to search for the path beyond the Seven Divine Veins.
