Ervin narrowly defeated Damian, while Max Morgan emerged victorious against Revona. However, the conference isn't over, as all remaining top-four participants must face each other. The next battle is set to be between Ervin and Revona, pitting Ervin's abyss against Revona's nullification abilities.

Angelina Valerius lowered her hand.

[Battle Begins.]

The moment the words appeared, Ervin and Revona moved at the same time. There was no testing and no polite first exchange.

Both of them had already fought enough battles to understand that holding back in this final stretch was meaningless.

Ervin had just defeated Damian Voss by the smallest possible margin, but that victory had come at a terrifying price. His aura was still unstable, and the shadow of the Gate of the Second Depth behind him had not fully settled.

Revona had already been defeated by Max Morgan after forcing him to reveal layers of strength that shook the Divine Realm, but she had also paid a heavy cost. Her Void Origin Eyes were still sharp, yet the faint paleness of her face proved that her battle with Max had not been easy.

Even so, neither of them hesitated.

Ervin planted his black spear into the stage.

"Abyssal Origin Descent."

The black sea rose, and the broken gate emerged from the abyss, ancient, silent, and terrifying, its unreadable symbols flickering with a darkness that seemed older than the arena itself. The moment the gate appeared, the air around Ervin sank.

The stage no longer felt like solid ground. It felt like a surface floating above endless depth, and anything that stepped too close to him risked being dragged below.

Revona's eyes opened fully.

"Void Origin Realm."

The world behind her became hollow, without color, sound, or warmth. Only origin-level emptiness spread silently behind her like a pale-gray world that denied all things.

The Void Origin Eyes shone within that emptiness, calmly watching the black sea, the broken gate, the spear in Ervin's hand, and even the faint abyssal currents moving beneath the stage.

The two Pseudo Cosmic Paths collided before their masters physically exchanged a single blow. Abyss rose upward while void pressed downward.

The black sea tried to swallow the hollow realm into its depths, while the Void Origin Realm tried to erase the structure that allowed the abyss to exist on the battlefield. The center of the arena twisted between sinking darkness and pale emptiness, and the Eternal Hourglass barrier brightened instantly as golden laws poured around the stage.

Ervin raised his spear.

"Abyssal Origin Descent, First Depth Tide."

The black sea erupted forward in a great wave.

Revona lifted one hand.

"Void Origin Eyes."

The first layer of the tide vanished. The second layer hollowed. The third layer lost its direction and collapsed into pale-gray emptiness. But the wave was too deep to disappear completely. Beneath the erased surface, a hidden current continued moving, bending around the Void Origin Eyes' field of sight and rushing toward Revona's feet from below.

Revona's eyes shifted.

"Void Origin Realm, Hollowing Wave."

The hidden current was erased the moment it touched the edge of her realm, but Ervin had already moved. His spear emerged from the shadow of the current.

"Abyss Spear Art, Deep Current Thrust."

Revona turned her palm.

"Void Origin Palm."

Spear and palm collided. There was no loud explosion at first. The abyssal spear force tried to sink into her palm, while the hollow palm seal tried to erase the spear force from its root. The two powers trembled against each other, then burst apart in a ring of black water and pale-gray emptiness.

Ervin slid back half a step. Revona also retreated half a step.

The Divine Realm erupted immediately.

"They are equal at the start!"

"Revona erased part of the First Depth Tide, but Ervin hid a second current beneath it!"

"His abyss is not simple to nullify!"

"And her Void Origin Realm is not simple to swallow!"

Ervin did not slow down. He knew that if he allowed Revona's eyes to calmly study his abyss, the battle would become more difficult with every breath.

He had seen what happened to Kaiden, and he had seen how Revona adapted to the Grand Void Labyrinth. He had also seen how even Max had needed to create multiple layers of power and hidden timing just to bypass her perception.

So Ervin attacked more fiercely than ever.

"Abyssal Origin Descent, Gate of the First Depth."

The broken gate opened slightly, and a deeper pressure descended upon the stage. The black sea beneath Ervin became heavier, darker, and more ancient. He stepped forward, and the abyss moved with him.

His spear thrust out again and again, each strike carrying hidden currents, delayed depths, and sinking force that tried to drag Revona's Void Origin Realm into a lower layer before her eyes could erase it.

"Abyss Spear Art, Hollow Descent Thrust."

"Abyss Spear Art, Gate Shadow Thrust."

"Abyss Spear Art, Deep Current Reversal."

Revona's eyes moved calmly. One thrust vanished, and the shadow of the gate was hollowed. The reversed current was erased halfway, but the remaining half curved around her and struck her shoulder.

Blood appeared, and the arena stirred. Ervin had wounded her.

Revona looked at the blood on her shoulder, then back at Ervin. Her expression did not change, but the emptiness in her eyes deepened.

"Trace To Nothing."

The next abyssal current Ervin released did not merely disappear. Revona's eyes followed it backward, tracing the route through the black sea until they found the deeper current that carried it. That hidden current collapsed, then another, then another. Several of Ervin's concealed abyssal paths vanished inside the black sea itself.

Ervin's gaze sharpened, and he immediately changed his rhythm. Instead of sending currents toward her, he let the black sea sink beneath the stage. For a breath, nothing attacked Revona. Then the ground below her disappeared.

"Abyssal Origin Descent, Return To Depth."

A whirlpool opened beneath Revona's feet, dragging her downward with frightening force. This was not a direct attack to be erased from the front. It was a pull from below, a sinking authority that tried to claim her position and return it to the abyss.

Revona's Void Origin Realm expanded beneath her. The whirlpool hollowed, but it did not vanish fully. The depth continued pulling. Revona's body sank half a step, then one full step.

Her eyes shone brighter as she erased the first layer of the whirlpool, then the second, then the third. But the Return To Depth technique kept rising from lower layers of the black sea, and for a brief moment, the entire Divine Realm saw Revona being dragged downward.

Ervin stepped forward and thrust his spear.

"Gate Shadow Thrust."

The spear tip arrived before her chest.

Revona's eyes narrowed.

"Void Origin Realm, Silent Eye Field."

The emptiness around her gaze spread outward in a wide arc. The Gate Shadow Thrust dulled instantly, its killing intent erased before its spear force could fully arrive. At the same time, the Return To Depth whirlpool beneath her feet lost its deepest foundation and collapsed into nothingness.

Revona stepped out and struck forward with her palm.

"Void Origin Palm, Hollow Return."

Ervin raised his spear to block, but the palm seal did not attack the spear. It struck the abyssal support around his body instead. The black sea beneath him thinned, and the Gate of the First Depth trembled. Ervin was pushed back several steps, his expression turning more solemn.

Rakan Thorne watched with a tight grin.

"They are already hurting each other."

Orion Starfall's eyes were bright.

"Ervin is attacking from depth. Revona is erasing from origin. Every clash is cutting away something fundamental."

Kaiden Voidmere looked grim.

"If this continues, whoever loses control of their Pseudo Cosmic Path first will lose."

Damian Voss watched Ervin quietly. He had just fought that abyss himself, so he knew how terrifying the Gate of the Second Depth was. Yet even he could see that Revona was forcing Ervin to spend more power than he wanted, since every route erased by her eyes made the black sea less stable.

Max stood silently, his gaze fixed on Revona. He knew what she still had not used, and he knew that if Ervin could not get past it, the battle would end exactly as she intended.

On the stage, Ervin took a slow breath. The black sea around him darkened again.

"Abyssal Origin Descent."

The broken gate opened wider.

"Gate of the Second Depth."

Boom!

The entire stage sank under invisible pressure, and Revona's Void Origin Realm trembled. The second depth was not merely stronger than the first. It changed the nature of the abyss. The black sea no longer only swallowed attacks.

It made everything feel lower than itself, so sword light could sink, star power could sink, and spatial routes could sink. Even void emptiness seemed to gain weight under its pressure.
