Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100 Chapter 1884 Damian vs Rakan!
Previously on Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100...
Angelina Valerius let the uproar from Ervin and Kaiden's battle settle for a short while before she raised her hand once more, and the giant screen above the arena began to spin.
By now, the final competitive stage had moved far past the point where ordinary matches could satisfy the crowd. Too many shocking battles had already taken place. Max had defeated Rosaline, Rakan, Kaiden, Selene, and Aurelian.
Revona had ground Orion down to exhaustion and had later beaten Rakan as well. Ervin had just forced Kaiden to unveil the full terror of the Grand Void Labyrinth before defeating him with the Gate of the Second Depth.
The remaining battles grew heavier with each round, and every new pairing between major geniuses seemed capable of reshuffling the rankings at the top.
The first name slowed and appeared.
[Damian Voss]
A wave of noise rolled through the arena, and the second name soon followed.
[Rakan Thorne]
This time the noise swelled even louder, because another major battle had arrived. It was another clash between monsters, pitting the strongest genius of the Sword God Palace against the first Warlord of the War God Palace.
The crowd inside the Eternal Hourglass came alive at once, and across the Divine Realm, countless watching forces straightened before their viewing screens.
At the Black Dragon Clan, many disciples who had just been dissecting Ervin and Kaiden's battle turned their full attention back to the large screen.
At the War God Palace, the disciples who had felt both proud and frustrated during Rakan's earlier matches leaned forward again.
Although Rakan had already suffered defeats in the final stage, no one there had lost faith in his power. After all, the ones who had beaten him so far were monsters among monsters.
Now he was about to face Damian Voss.
Above the arena, Angelina's voice rang out calmly.
"Damian Voss."
"Rakan Thorne."
"Enter the stage."
Two beams of light descended, and Damian appeared first. He stood in flowing sword robes with his long hair drifting slightly behind him, his expression as calm and cold as ever.
The sword in his hand rested quietly, yet no one who had watched him fight could overlook the terrifying sharpness hidden inside that stillness.
Damian's sword was not loud like Rakan's fists, nor majestic like Rosaline's dawn kingdom. It was not strange like Morgana's curses, and it was not immeasurable like Revona's void. Even so, everyone present understood that once he drew it in earnest, it became one of the deadliest things in the entire conference.
Rakan appeared opposite him. The first Warlord of the War God Palace still carried that fierce and open battle aura around him. His body seemed carved from battle itself, broad-shouldered and sturdy and terrifyingly solid.
Even after so many punishing fights, he still looked like the sort of man who would rather collapse after spending everything than retreat a single step early. He rolled his shoulders once, looked at Damian, and grinned.
"Well," Rakan said, "we finally get a proper rematch."
Damian regarded him calmly. "The first one ended too early."
Rakan laughed. "That is true. Back then the first round ended before we could go all out."
He clenched both fists, and the air around his knuckles began to tremble. "This time, no one is stopping us."
Damian's sword tilted slightly downward. "This time," he replied, "I intend to finish it."
The moment those words fell, the atmosphere in the arena sharpened again. Even Max, standing on his pillar, narrowed his eyes slightly.
Rakan's raw physical strength was terrifying, and the three broken limits of the War God Body had already placed him at the summit of body cultivators among the younger generation.
Against most opponents, that alone would have been enough to crush them outright. But Damian was not most opponents.
His sword had already brought down the Divine Son, one of the strongest geniuses of the elf race, and even top monsters like Orion and Kaiden treated him with caution.
Angelina raised her hand.
[Battle Begins.]
Rakan moved first. He did not test, he did not circle, and he did not waste a single breath on a probing exchange.
"War God Body, First Limit."
Boom!
The first limit broke instantly. His body released a frightening pressure as the muscles across his arms and torso surged with explosive force. He took one step and the stage cracked beneath his feet. Then his fist shot forward.
"War God Fist, Mountain-Breaker Rush."
The punch came on like a charging fortress, carrying overwhelming body force and battle aura together.
Damian drew his sword.
"Falling River Cut."
A clean silver-white line appeared, and sword met fist.
Clang!
The shockwave exploded outward and swept across the arena in a ring of pressure. Rakan's body did not retreat, and Damian's sword did not bend. For a brief instant, the battlefield seemed caught between a mountain of flesh and a river of steel.
Then Rakan's second fist came.
"War God Fist, Iron Heaven Smash."
Damian's sword turned.
"Crosswind Return."
The blade redirected the strike rather than meeting it head-on, and Rakan's punch slid past Damian's left shoulder. In the same motion, Damian's sword flashed upward toward Rakan's ribs. Rakan twisted his body and caught the strike on his hardened forearm.
Sparks burst outward, and a thin line of blood appeared.
The crowd roared immediately, because Damian had drawn first blood.
Rakan only grinned wider. "Good!"
He stepped forward again and threw three punches in succession, each heavier than the last.
"War God Fist, Shattering Drum."
"War God Fist, Bonequake Burst."
"War God Fist, Heaven-Hammer Drive."
Every punch came from a different angle, and each carried enough physical force to break apart the protective barriers of peak geniuses.
Damian's sword moved swiftly through the storm of fists, sometimes blocking and sometimes diverting, and sometimes slipping around an attack to strike at Rakan's weak points.
For a while, neither man seemed willing to reveal his deepest cards. Even so, this early exchange already burned hotter than most battles of the final stage.
The Sword God Palace disciples watched with shining eyes, while the War God Palace disciples shouted Rakan's name, especially when his fists managed to force Damian back half a step.
