Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100 Chapter 1869 Pushing Kaiden!

The space between Max and Kaiden folded, and both of them vanished in the same instant.
For a breath, the central stage looked empty. There was no explosion, no flash of golden light, no sword cry, no thunder, and no roaring dragon aura. Yet every true expert watching felt their skin tighten, because the battlefield had not grown calm. It had grown far more dangerous.
The danger had simply left the visible surface of the world and slipped into the hidden layers of space itself.
Then a line appeared in the air. It was not a sword mark. It was a spatial fracture.
Max and Kaiden appeared on opposite sides of that fracture at almost the same moment. Each had one hand raised, and each was using the same basic rhythm of the Void Genesis Art to twist the folded space between them.
The fracture expanded and then collapsed inward, disappearing before it could tear the stage apart. In the next instant, both of them vanished again.
Kaiden's voice echoed from somewhere within the warped space.
"Void Genesis Art, Empty Step."
His figure reappeared behind Max without disturbing the air. A palm shot forward carrying no visible energy, yet the space in front of it folded into seven sharp layers. Had it landed on an ordinary opponent, the blow would never have struck from the outside.
Their inner organs, bones, and energy pathways would have been compressed from several spatial layers at once.
Max did not turn around.
"Void Genesis Art, Origin Fold."
The space behind him bent before Kaiden's palm could arrive. The strike that should have landed on Max's back folded past him and emerged three meters to his left instead.
At the same time, Max stepped backward through the folded space and appeared in front of Kaiden. His fingers were already pressing toward Kaiden's chest.
"Void Genesis Art, Space-Sealing Finger."
Kaiden's eyes sharpened.
"Void Genesis Art, Hollow Displacement."
His body blurred as the space around him shifted half a step away from reality, and Max's finger passed through nothing but an afterimage. Yet Max's eyes remained calm, and his finger did not stop. It dipped slightly downward, and the sealed space redirected itself.
Kaiden's true body had only just emerged when the Space-Sealing Finger arrived before him once more. He raised his hand and blocked.
Boom!
There was no ordinary shockwave. Instead, the space between them sank, twisted, and shattered into countless mirror-like fragments before the laws of the Eternal Hourglass knitted it back together.
The two separated, or rather, the space between them expanded. Max stood on one side of the stage while Kaiden stood on the other. Both remained composed, but the expressions of everyone watching had already changed.
The battle had opened with high-level Void Genesis Art techniques from the very first exchange. Neither man had tested the other with weak moves, and neither had wasted time on ordinary attacks.
That alone marked the difference between this fight and most others. Max and Kaiden both understood that two people trained by the same master, walking the same path of space, had no need for shallow probing.
Kaiden regarded Max quietly. "You handled Hollow Displacement on the first try."
Max replied calmly, "It had the same root as Empty Step."
Kaiden nodded. "Then I will not use the outer forms anymore."
The silver-gray ripples around him deepened.
Max smiled faintly. "Good. I was about to say the same thing."
In the next instant, the entire central stage transformed into a battlefield of invisible folds.
Kaiden raised both hands.
"Void Genesis Art, Thousand-Layer Spatial Cage."
The space around Max split into layer after layer, forming a transparent prison without walls. Each layer overlapped the next, and every overlap carried crushing pressure. The cage did not attempt to bind Max's body directly. It tried to bind his position in space itself, pinning him to a fixed coordinate no matter how he moved.
Max lifted one finger.
"Void Genesis Art, Origin Point Reversal."
The center of the cage shifted. For one brief instant, the fixed coordinate changed from Max's position to Kaiden's own shadow. The Thousand-Layer Spatial Cage collapsed inward, but it closed around the spot where Kaiden had stood a breath earlier rather than around Max.
Kaiden had already moved.
"Void Genesis Art, Void Corridor Severance."
A long corridor of folded space opened beneath Max's feet. It sought to sever the path between Max and the surrounding arena, isolating him from every direction at once. At the same moment, Kaiden appeared above him with his palm descending like a silent blade.
"Void Genesis Art, Space Burial Palm."
The palm fell, and the space around Max sank as though a tomb had opened beneath him.
Max looked up, and his eyes remained perfectly calm.
"Void Genesis Art, Genesis Void Axis."
A vertical line of invisible force ran through Max's body. The Space Burial Palm struck that axis and instantly lost its direction. The folded space that had tried to bury him began rotating around the axis instead. It formed a spiral that dragged the burial force away from Max and scattered it harmlessly into the edges of the arena.
Kaiden's expression shifted slightly, but before he could withdraw, Max stepped forward. There was no distance left between them. Max's palm pressed toward Kaiden's shoulder.
"Void Genesis Art, Returning Void Palm."
Kaiden crossed his arms.
"Void Genesis Art, Triple Hollow Shield."
Three layers of hollow space materialized before him. Max's palm touched the first layer, and it collapsed. The second layer twisted, and then the third layer shattered. Kaiden was driven backward for the first time in the battle.
He slid several meters across the stage, though his feet never truly touched the ground, for space kept folding beneath him to soften the impact. Even so, the fact was plain for everyone to see. Max had seized the advantage.
The Grand Void Sanctum disciples watching from afar went silent, while the Black Dragon Clan disciples erupted with excitement.
"He pushed Kaiden back!"
"Max is using space against Kaiden and still winning!"
"Kaiden Voidmere has never been pushed like this before!"
