Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100 Chapter 1604 Cracks on Dragon Egg?!

"ROOOAAARRR!"
Following a tremendous roar that erupted from Max's dragon form, causing Orion and the surrounding star realms to tremble, he ascended through the skies of Dragon Death Valley for several minutes.
In his authentic dragon body, the sensation of movement was unlike anything he had previously encountered. The winds yielded to him as if acknowledging their sovereign. Each beat of his colossal wings unleashed storms across the heavens. Mountains below appeared diminutive, and the clouds were dispersed by his passage.
For a short period, Max reveled in this feeling.
Might.
Liberty.
Supremacy.
Soaring in the form of a true black dragon awakened primal instincts dormant within his bloodline, and even an experienced individual like Max couldn't dismiss the sheer exhilaration.
Then, as he circled at a great height above the valley, a vision from his clone caused him to abruptly halt his flight.
His immense wings slowed their motion.
His golden-black eyes narrowed.
"The black dragon egg has commenced hatching?" Max inquired, his voice laced with genuine astonishment.
That particular egg had remained inert for countless years. Even after he had acquired it and nurtured it within the Dimension of Spirit, it had only exhibited faint life fluctuations.
Yet, it was now finally stirring.
Max's thoughts raced.
Could his own metamorphosis into a true black dragon have been the catalyst?
Was it possible that the roar, the bloodline resonance, or the ancient draconic aura he had absorbed had stimulated the dormant life within the egg?
He was uncertain of the exact cause.
Nevertheless, a grin broadened across his draconic visage.
"Hehe... this is most auspicious."
His eyes sparkled with eager expectation.
"I may soon possess a true black dragon as my companion."
----
Within the Dimension of Spirit, all focus was fixed upon a singular object.
The black dragon egg.
Max's clone stood nearby, his expression grave, while Lily, Blob, Tian, and numerous other spirits had formed a wide perimeter around it. Even the typically boisterous spirits had fallen into an unusual quietude, sensing an extraordinary event was imminent.
The egg rested upon a bed of spiritual crystals and dragon essence stones, meticulously prepared for its arrival. Its shell was as dark as midnight, adorned with natural patterns resembling scales crafted from ancient metal.
Initially, it merely trembled gently.
Then, it quivered again.
A subtle cracking sound resonated through the space.
Everyone's eyes widened.
A fine fissure appeared across the shell, briefly illuminated from within before widening further. A second crack followed. And then another.
The life essence emanating from within the egg, once faint and distant, surged steadily with each passing second.
Blob bounced excitedly in circles.
"It's hatching! It's truly hatching!"
Lily's features softened with a rare display of excitement, while Tian folded his arms and observed intently, determined not to miss a single detail.
The shell continued to fracture. Tiny fragments detached and fell to the ground, revealing glimpses of movement within the darkness. Presently, with slow but unfaltering progress, the upper section of the egg separated.
A tiny claw emerged first. It was minuscule compared to Max's titanic dragon form, yet perfectly formed, covered in sleek black scales that gleamed faintly under the spiritual luminescence. Shortly thereafter, a small head pushed its way out. Two diminutive, curved horns adorned its skull. Bright golden eyes blinked repeatedly in bewilderment as the newborn creature surveyed the multitude of figures surrounding it. The tiny dragon emitted a soft, raspy sound.
"Rrrr..."
Then, with clumsy resolve, it extricated itself from the shell and stumbled onto the nest. A small black dragon had entered the world.
Its wings remained tightly folded against its sides, its tail swayed somewhat awkwardly, and it appeared more endearing than intimidating at this juncture. Yet, the pristine quality of the aura surrounding it compelled everyone to grasp the truth immediately. This was no common hatchling. This was an authentic, true black dragon.
The little creature tilted its head, inhaled the air, and then gazed directly towards Max's clone. Its eyes brightened. Without hesitation, it waddled forward on tiny, unsteady steps and pounced upon him.
Blob erupted in laughter. Lily covered her mouth, stifling a smile. Even Tian's stern expression softened momentarily. The newborn dragon nestled itself contentedly against Max's clone and closed its eyes, as if it had already recognized its family. And somewhere far away, the true Max, still in his dragon form above Dragon Death Valley, couldn't help but let out a chuckle upon sensing this development.
"Haha, excellent," Max murmured with evident satisfaction.
The link with his clone enabled him to perceive everything transpiring within the Dimension of Spirit concurrently with his own activities elsewhere. He could remain in Dragon Death Valley, continue his cultivation, and simultaneously share in these moments with Lily and the others.
"Having a clone is truly a blessing," he declared with a smile. "I can be with Lily and everyone else there, while still taking care of my responsibilities here."
At that precise moment, deep within the Dimension of Spirit, his clone was completely absorbed in tending to the newly hatched dragon.
The fledgling black dragon was pulsating with untamed energy.
Despite having just emerged from its shell, it was already zipping around the vicinity with astonishing quickness. Its minuscule wings flapped furiously as it spiraled above their heads, occasionally faltering in mid-air before righting itself at the last possible second. Now and then, it emitted small, proud growls, as if utterly convinced it was already the supreme sovereign of the skies.
"Little dragon, cease your aerial acrobatics and come here!" Max's clone called out, amusement coloring his tone.
The hatchling paid him absolutely no mind.
Instead, it made a low pass over Blob's head, causing the spirit to jolt in alarm, before ascending once more in a meandering spiral.
"I want to play with him too!" Lily exclaimed, persistently chasing after the little dragon.
After completing a few more circuits, the minuscule dragon landed with a clumsy thud on Max's clone's shoulder. It adjusted its stance with a show of exaggerated solemnity before folding its wings and lifting its chin with an air of great pride.
Max's clone reached up, his touch gentle, and stroked the young creature under its chin.
"You are indeed full of life," he remarked. Then, his expression shifted to one of contemplation. "Tell me, little one... what shall we name you? What is your name?"
