Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100 Chapter 1555 Devouring True Origin Devil Blood?

"That reminds me," Max whispered, his mind drifting as a thoughtful look crossed his face. "The Dimension of Time still seals that drop of True Origin Devil Blood. No matter how you slice it, both my Infernal Energy and Infernal Demon Transformation sprang from that single drop. It stands as the ultimate origin of all this power. With that in mind… might I swallow it whole to skyrocket my strength?"
As soon as the idea hit him, Max shook his head firmly, pushing it away at once.
He vividly recalled Mark's fate, the Acaris crownbearer. Despite divine power surging in his veins, contact with the True Origin Devil Blood had corrupted Mark, driving him to lose all control and turn into a slave to its evil intent.
A grave look settled on Max's face while pondering his situation. The rage simmering in his core remained unstable, and pulling off such a foolish stunt would probably end in catastrophe.
"I'd probably lose myself entirely and plunge into insanity if I dared to absorb that blood now," Max grumbled softly.
After pausing quietly, he added with firm determination, "Only after my power matches the might locked in that drop should I even think about it."
Max knew his boundaries well. His present power fell far short of handling or mastering the immense force in that blood, and trying now spelled certain doom.
Still, a subtle conviction persisted in his thoughts.
The day would arrive when confronting it became unavoidable.
"This battlefield overflows with devil corpses," Max murmured, a slight grin tugging at his mouth as fresh determination took root. "Devouring them will keep boosting my Infernal Energy."
Spurred by the notion, he pressed on, slicing through the barren terrain with black flames dancing softly around him. The flames trailed in his wake, rolling over the earth like a quiet wave.
Soon enough, the first pile of corpses came into view.
Scores of devil remains stacked in a heap, their shapes contorted and devoid of life, but lingering with remnants of their former dark power. Max unleashed his black flames without pause, letting them consume the bodies fully. Moments later, nothing remained as their essence surged into him, fueling his Infernal Energy.
He kept going.
Pressing ahead, he found more corpses littering his route—devils, primordials, humans—all consumed indifferently. The battlefield turned into his power reservoir, and he devoured whatever could enhance him without a second thought.
Each bout of absorption amplified the shifts inside him. The strength fixed at Rebirth Realm's peak started to stir, like a wall beginning to fracture. A subtle yet insistent tug toward Law Awakening Realm's initial stage started to build.
Excitement gleamed in his gaze.
Picking up speed without pause, Max gobbled every corpse in sight while heading straight for Isabella's spot.
Yet deeper into the chaos, those terrifying beasts reappeared.
They materialized abruptly once more, encircling him without notice, their nightmarish shapes advancing with relentless hunger. His Dimensional Sovereign Body still registered no trace of them, as if they vanished from his senses entirely.
Max's face hardened.
Even ruling this dimension, these monsters slipped past his detection completely, heightening their eerie threat.
But now, he acted without delay.
Black flames burst forth again, crafting myriad blades that impaled the beasts mid-leap. Blasts erupted right after, shredding their huge frames into scorched scraps.
As before, he absorbed them next.
Their bizarre energy streamed into him anew, blending with his Infernal Energy to amplify it more.
Pushing forward, a fresh insight dawned on Max.
His Dimensional Sovereign Body missed not only those beasts.
The myriad corpses strewn over the battlefield had evaded his senses too.
He eased his pace a bit, furrowing his brow while piecing it all together.
"Ah, so that's how it is," Max whispered softly. "My Dimensional Sovereign Body can only detect those linked to my timeline in this dimension. Everything from the past timeline existing here remains utterly invisible to it."
That insight deepened the seriousness on his face, while also revealing the boundaries of his authority in this domain.
Nevertheless, he refused to halt.
Relentlessly, he pressed onward, absorbing all in his wake, his strength surging with each advance as the battlefield transformed into his very nourishment.
Eventually, the barren scenery started to change, with shapes reappearing in his senses at last.
Max's gaze intensified.
"That's the group with Isabella."
Yet upon closer inspection, Max's face grew grave.
Hundreds of the identical nightmarish beasts that had assaulted him before now encircled Isabella's team, constricting into a suffocating ring with scant escape possible. Their enormous, twisted forms crushed inward from every angle, malformed jaws gaping and snapping while eerie, guttural snarls resounded over the battlefield.
Isabella's team included several Law Awakening Realm powerhouses and a handful at Law Refinement Realm, but despite their might, they barely clung to their defensive line.
Not every fighter could counter these monstrosities well. Though some barely repelled them with strenuous effort, others fell utterly before the creatures' brutal savagery and bizarre durability.
Isabella herself struggled fiercely against them. Her blows inflicted no real harm, rendering her exposed as the horde inched nearer.
The lopsided numbers only aggravated their dire straits.
Her squad numbered scarcely nine, pitted against a massive horde of hundreds. The surrounding battlefield had devolved into a frantic fight for existence, their stance deteriorating with every instant.
Max's stare turned steely as he surveyed the mayhem.
Their crisis had already hit a breaking point.
