Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100 Chapter 1416 Top Disciples Went In!
Previously on Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100...
Observing Aden's swift adjustment to the formidable laws and intense pressure of Planet Cyrus in just ten seconds, a larger number of disciples found their bravery surging. A few of them advanced on impulse, but they stopped right at the brink of the star shuttle.
They gazed at the burned terrain beneath, where remnants of flame law still danced over the planet's face. Even with their fresh resolve, none among them mustered the guts for that last stride. Dread and doubt kept them rooted firmly in position.
Right then, another person pushed through the group. She proceeded with composed strides, her lengthy dark hair swaying softly in her wake.
"It is Jane."
"The second ranked outer disciple."
"She is stepping out now."
A murmur rippled across the assembly as all eyes turned to her.
"How long do you think she will take to adapt?"
"I do not know, but it should be longer than Aden."
"She is strong, but Aden is still ranked first."
While the disciples murmured back and forth, Jane at last set foot on Planet Cyrus's ground. Instantly, fierce flames burst around her form, and the world's crushing force bore down on her. Her frame dipped a bit from the burden, her stance dipping as she withstood the dual onslaught of gravity and flame law.
"She is being pushed down."
"The pressure is terrifying."
For a short while, the blaze kept raging near her, searing the atmosphere and warping the area close to her shape. Gradually, though, the fire started to pull back. The smothering force eased off, and Jane stood tall again.
Once twenty seconds elapsed, she advanced with a firm pace, then repeated it, until she roamed unhindered over Cyrus's terrain. Quickly, she got to Aden and halted next to him, her face serene as before.
"Twenty seconds."
"She only took twenty seconds."
"That is unbelievable."
"Even if it is slower than Aden, twenty seconds is still monstrous."
The onlookers buzzed with fresh thrill and wonder. Aden's ten-second feat had stunned them, yet Jane's showing proved equally remarkable. The disciples marveled, but without total shock this round. After all, these two achievers stood as the highest outer disciples in the Thirty Third Hall.
Still, the divide between them and the others loomed larger than ever.
"Humph! You are all cowards!" A bold and haughty yell rang out abruptly inside the star shuttle, grabbing every gaze at once.
A form shoved aside the wavering disciples and marched directly to the shuttle's rim. It was Dale. Scorn marked his features as he scanned the nearby followers, plainly relishing the strain and panic etched on their expressions.
Next, he directed his sight below and eyed Planet Cyrus's charred face, where subtle hints of flame law hung in the atmosphere.
"So many people, yet none of you dare to step forward," Dale mocked. "Pathetic."
He didn't pause for replies before exiting the star shuttle onto Cyrus's soil.
The second his sole met the earth, the dreadful gravity crashed onto him. Blazes exploded wildly near his build, howling skyward like they aimed to engulf him entirely. Dale emitted a deep huff as his form got dragged low, his legs buckling beneath the world's relentless squeeze.
"He is being suppressed."
"The flames are even more violent around him."
"Is he going to fail?"
Moments ticked by in sequence. Dale's visage contorted a touch as perspiration trickled from his brow. The force obviously burdened him greatly, way beyond what it did to Jane and particularly Aden. His frame shook, and briefly, it looked like he could get flattened into the dirt just like those initial disciples.
"Tch…" Dale gritted his jaws, determined not to yield. His energy burst forth as he compelled his strength to flow, battling the pull of gravity and the furious flame laws battering him from all sides.
Thirty seconds ticked away.
"He is still holding on."
"Thirty seconds already… that is much longer than Jane."
At the thirty-sixth second, the fire encircling Dale at last started to fade. The stifling force released its clasp, and his quivering form gradually rose straight. With a harsh breath out, Dale moved ahead once. Then once more. The blaze vanished completely, allowing him to stand tall on Cyrus's ground.
"Thirty six seconds."
"He actually did it."
"Even if it took longer, that is still impressive."
Dale cast a look back at the star shuttle, his stare brimming with fresh smugness. Though his effort fell short of Aden's ten seconds or Jane's twenty, he had triumphed where hordes of others faltered.
With a sharp huff, he pressed on and aligned with Aden and Jane under the elders, his bearing restored to full conceit.
The disciples peering from the shuttle sank into tense quiet. Witnessing even Dale pull off the adaptation underscored sharply that raw bravery wasn't the sole trial, but rather power, base, and resolve. And for plenty of them, Planet Cyrus's force was exposing their true lag behind.
"Let us go and join them," Carl murmured softly to Max while he and Laura pressed through the throng, their looks firm amid the lingering strain in the air.
Max gave a slight grin and a nod, trailing them until the trio reached the star shuttle's forefront. There, Planet Cyrus's heavy vibe pressed in vividly, no footfall required on its face. The warmth bore down like a hidden wave, and the twisted stream of flame law rendered the very air thick.
Carl led the way out. As soon as his boot hit Cyrus's dirt, the smothering gravity fell on him and fire leaped up near his shape. His stance went rigid as his sinews tightened, his breaths growing labored while he bore the strain.
Moment by moment, he held firm, channeling his strength with total concentration. When forty seconds went by, the fire eased bit by bit, and the load atop him slackened. Carl drew himself up and advanced a pace, then repeated, until he strode unbound toward the elders.
