Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100 Chapter 1334 Risk of Ascension!

Max struggles against the crushing pressure of imminent ascension as the world of Acaris attempts to expel him. While Freya and Lucien remain unaffected due to their unique origins and experience, Max realizes he must settle the matter of the unclaimed crown before he can depart for the Divine Realm. After discussing the heavy burden required of a potential crownbearer, Max visits Alice and Lenavira at the Phoenix God Nation. The two women express their bittersweet resolve to grow strong enough to follow him into the higher realm one day.

Max gave them a slow nod, his gaze both tender and resolute. "I will be waiting for you as well," he murmured, pausing to let out a soft sigh before he went on. "However, I ask that you don’t push yourselves too hard. If you can just wait for me for five or perhaps ten years, I will return to fetch you."

A heavy silence settled in his chest as the words left his mouth. Freya had made it clear that ascension was a process he could neither manipulate nor circumvent. He was forbidden from bringing other humans through the ascension tunnel. In this regard, Life Space Rings were useless, and even his Dimension of Spirit was too dangerous to utilize.

Should he attempt to ascend while hiding humans within Life Space Rings, the violent energies of the ascension tunnel would instantly shatter the rings, resulting in the certain death of everyone inside.

The reality was brutally straightforward. His Life Space Rings were merely low-grade items, never designed to withstand the crushing pressure of an ascension tunnel. Had the tunnel remained fractured, he might have bypassed the system entirely, being pulled straight into his anchored realm.

However, with the ascension tunnel now restored, the laws of the world reigned supreme. He was bound to traverse the tunnel before any anchoring effects could take hold.

Max had grilled Freya regarding the Dimension of Spirit, hoping his internal world might be unique enough to shield humans during the transition. Her response had been firm and discouraging.

The ascension tunnel acted as a sort of filter, she explained. It scrutinized the ascending entity, tallying any human or humanoid lifeforms attempting the journey. If it sensed additional lives concealed within another, the ascension would fail. Even worse, it could trigger divine punishment. It was a risk she refused to let him take.

When Max inquired about the other entities living in his Dimension of Spirit, Freya’s tone was more relaxed. The scanning process of the ascension tunnel specifically targeted humans and humanoids. Spirits and similar beings occupied a different category.

Such beings did not even require an ascension tunnel to reach the Divine Realm. Provided they possessed enough power, they were free to move between realms without restriction.

Recalling these facts, Max looked at Alice and Lenavira with a quiet determination. Regardless of his desires, he could not bring them along now. His only option was to vow to return once he had gained sufficient power, ensuring their eventual ascension would be both safe and certain.

His reluctance to let them ascend on their own stemmed from a deep-seated fear. If Alice and Lenavira took the path of ascension independently, there was no guarantee they would end up in the same corner of the Divine Realm as he did.

The Divine Realm was an unfathomable expanse, teeming with realms and powers capable of obliterating mortals like insects. If they were cast into an unknown world and fell into peril, Max would be powerless to reach them. He would have no way to safeguard them or intervene, a possibility he found utterly intolerable.

Consequently, Max preferred they did not ascend at all for the time being. He wanted them to cultivate within the safety of Acaris until they reached the absolute peak of Divine Rank without actually crossing over. Only with that level of strength would they be safe, but even then, he wanted them to wait for his return.

There was another factor that bolstered Max’s confidence. He sensed that his class was fundamentally unique. As the Dimensional Keeper, his authority extended beyond mere space.

He suspected that a specific dimension existed within him designed for human life—a sanctuary where they could survive without being crushed by divine pressure. Tian had confirmed this theory, noting that such a realm did exist but remained sealed. These deeper dimensions would only awaken once Max’s power exceeded the Divine Rank.

Tian had also been blunt about the dangers of the ascension tunnel. Its ability to filter humans was absolute. It would inevitably detect any hidden human life and react with either rejection or divine retribution.

For this reason, Tian had warned Max against bringing humans into the Dimension of Spirit during his ascent, regardless of how secure it seemed. However, Tian had shared one vital piece of information.

The dimension intended for humans was different. Rather than being a simple storage area, it was a core aspect of Max’s power as a Dimensional Keeper. Once he unlocked it, he could bypass any human filtration or scanning, moving past the restrictions of the ascension tunnel entirely.

With this knowledge, Max was certain of his path. There was no need for haste; he simply needed time. After he ascended and grew strong enough to unlock those hidden depths, he could transport Alice and Lenavira to the Divine Realm safely, protecting them from the lethal laws of ascension.

"Wait for you?" Alice asked softly, her eyes searching his for a sign of certainty.

Max nodded firmly, his expression honest and unwavering. "I have a method to bring you both to the Divine Realm safely," he explained. "But I need time to reach that level of power. It will take five years at the minimum, and ten years at the most. I cannot force the process."

Alice fell silent for a moment before a gentle smile graced her face. It held no resentment, only trust and acceptance. "We would have to wait that long regardless," she said softly. "I doubt either of us could reach the summit of Divine Rank in less than five years. Even ten years is a reasonable timeframe, so we can wait. But you must promise to return for us."

Lenavira moved closer, her gaze intense and focused. "You have to promise," she insisted. "No matter what challenges you face, or how vast the Divine Realm is, you must come back for us."

Max didn't speak immediately. Instead, he gathered them both into a tight embrace, as if trying to memorize the feeling of this moment. When he finally answered, his voice was steady and full of conviction. "I promise," he declared. "No matter where I go or how high I rise, I will return for you both."

Neither Alice nor Lenavira spoke further. There was no need for more words. The vow had been made, and for them, that was all that mattered.
