Finally, Tony completed "", a hefty game that clocked in at approximately 50GB.
"Whew... creating a game single-handedly consumes far too much time," Tony grumbled, stretching with a weary sigh.
This was merely a beta version, and it had already demanded such a significant investment of his time. He contemplated the necessity of hiring assistance in the future, or perhaps the system itself might offer a solution.
Spending a few extra points wouldn't be an unreasonable expense to expedite the development process.
Now that the game was ready, the next crucial step was securing a platform for its release.
Naturally, "" was intended only as a demonstration. Tony's primary goal was to establish his reputation and accumulate a substantial amount of points first.
However, simply uploading the game without any promotional efforts or advertising would yield minimal results.
He possessed unwavering confidence in the game's quality, certain that it would eventually achieve viral status. Nevertheless, his impatience precluded him from relying solely on a stroke of luck.
Just as Tony was deliberating his subsequent actions, his bedroom door creaked open, and a woman's head tentatively appeared in the opening.
She possessed a sharp, fox-like allure, accentuated by a pair of phoenix eyes, a delicate nose, and slender lips, embodying a rare and striking beauty.
A moment later, her voice, somewhat hoarse and rough, broke the silence.
"I said, Tony, you've been sequestered in your room for a week. What exactly have you been doing?"
This woman was none other than Tony Willis's older sister, Natalie Willis.
Natalie was a popular streamer, known for her sweet demeanor, humorous personality, and an innate charm that naturally drew people to her.
Yet, there was one notable incongruity—her voice.
Her voice was deep and somewhat gravelly, a stark contrast to her captivatingly beautiful appearance.
Due to the distinctiveness of her voice, even her striking looks couldn't fully compensate in the eyes of her audience.
Her fans had affectionately bestowed upon her the moniker 'Deep Throat,' and many would jest, "She's a wonderful girl... if only she didn't talk."
Upon seeing his sister, a sudden idea sparked in Tony's mind.
Enlisting her to promote the game... That might actually prove effective.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Natalie inquired, her eyebrow arching inquisitively. "What are you plotting now?"
She had observed her younger brother's recent peculiar behavior: isolating himself in his room, subsisting solely on takeout, and speaking barely a word.
He dedicated all his waking hours to his computer, typing away incessantly, which naturally led her to grow concerned about his mental well-being.
Tony then offered a smile and declared, "I'm working on something significant. Hey, Sis, haven't you always expressed a desire to become a top-tier streamer? I believe I can help you achieve that."
"You? Help me?" Natalie responded theatrically, rolling her eyes.
"What possible assistance could you offer? Oh, unless you're planning to make an appearance on my stream and grace my fans with that handsome face of yours; that would undoubtedly attract a legion of female viewers."
She grinned playfully. Tony truly possessed good looks, with a refined, sharp facial structure and a voice that was both smooth and warm.
However, Tony quickly dismissed her suggestion.
"If you're expecting me to leverage my appearance, that's out of the question," he stated flatly.
"Listen, I've developed a new game. It's incredibly engaging, and if you stream yourself playing it, I guarantee your viewership will surge."
"Seriously?" Natalie regarded her brother with a skeptical expression.
"Absolutely seriously," Tony affirmed, nodding with unwavering confidence. "I promise it will boost your follower count if you play it. And if it doesn't? I'll take on all the household chores for the entire week."
Natalie's eyes sparkled with interest. "You're that confident, are you? Very well, where can I download it?"
Despite her jesting tone, she harbored trust in her brother. If he believed it would succeed, she was willing to give it a shot.
"There's no official download available yet. I'll simply copy it directly to your computer," Tony explained, retrieving his external hard drive and heading towards his sister's room.
As he commenced the file transfer, Natalie cast a suspicious glance his way.
"You're in such a rush. Be honest, is this one of those NSFW games? Are you trying to prank me live on stream?"
"If I possessed something of that nature, who else would I possibly share it with?" Tony responded placidly.
"Relax, it's just a game, but... it's quite frightening. Are you certain you can handle it? I'm concerned you might become overly scared."
"Pfft!" Natalie scoffed, clearly unimpressed by his words.
"Do you genuinely believe I'm easily frightened? Please. There's virtually nothing that scares me, let alone some independent game," Natalie retorted dismissively.
"No, I'm being serious. This isn't your typical horror game; it's exceptionally intense."
"Blah blah blah," Natalie waved him away dismissively. "You're seriously underestimating your sister's fortitude. It's merely a game, how truly dreadful can it be?"
"...Alright."
Finally, the game file transfer was complete. Tony stood up and placed a supportive hand on her shoulder.
"Okay, and good luck. Remember, if it becomes too much, you can always stop. Don't push yourself unnecessarily."
With that, he turned and exited the room, leaving Natalie staring after him, her eyes blinking in surprise.
"What is with that expression? He looked at me as if he felt sorry for me," she mumbled, her voice barely audible. It's merely a game, how frightening could it possibly be? She then shook her head, moving to settle in front of her setup. Her sole focus was on whether this endeavor could attract a larger audience, precisely as he had suggested.
