Elizabeth confronts Fisher, revealing her intention to keep him close and avoid a fight, but Fisher, with Emhardt's encouragement, questions her actions after her father and brother's deaths. As Alicia's chaotic presence grows, Fisher attempts to delegate, but the Cardinal of Destiny warns him of Elizabeth's immense power and the impossibility of defeating her alone. Elizabeth prepares to attack, warning Fisher to stay put, but Fisher readies his own weapon and shields Emhardt, provoking Elizabeth further.

And in the next instant, dense golden patterns burst out once more around Elizabeth’s eyes; in Fisher’s vision, there even appeared beside her an Angel’s Illusion he had once seen.

The eyeless Angel circled Elizabeth like a mindless ghost, the phantom Angel Halo behind her constantly twisting until it flared with a dangerous, lethal red light.

Fisher, familiar with Helair’s bodily structure, understood this was the sign of an Angel being enraged.

Fisher had enraged Elizabeth, Emhardt had enraged the Prosthetic Eye in her sockets; the two of them really were a pair of doomed brothers...

Elizabeth no longer spoke. She herself made no movement, but the Pandora’s Illusion hovering at her side bent down slightly, grasped the Golden Sword in her hand; the power of the Nineteenth Rank erupted in an instant, and with the Sword bestowed by Xuan Can added on top, Elizabeth’s aura suddenly became exceptionally dangerous.

At the same time, the breath of Death spread endlessly from behind her; as a strange stench of corpses reached Fisher’s nose, Emhardt in his arms also shouted loudly,

"Careful!"

Fisher’s gaze sharpened, the Fluid Sword in his hand shot out abruptly like a meteor, piercing through all the corpses that were climbing up. At the same time he stomped hard on the ground, preparing to leave this place, but how could Elizabeth let him get his way.

"Fisher, where do you think you’re going?!!"

The Pandora’s Illusion beside Elizabeth suddenly opened its mouth and let out a violent roar as well; it was worlds apart from that refined Angel Leader of ten thousand years ago—what circled Elizabeth now was more like a monster wearing Pandora’s skin.

Yet the power of the Nineteenth Rank was anything but illusory.

Within Pandora’s shrill screech, everything that entered Elizabeth’s sight began to turn to stone; Fisher’s shadow retreating backward also shuddered to a halt. He lowered his head and saw that beneath the clothes covering him, the flesh was beginning to transform into stone.

Fisher did not panic, however. He simply hurriedly pulled Emhardt out of his arms to keep him from turning to stone. At the same time, the Life Chaos Power covering his whole body was immediately triggered.

Don’t forget, he now already possessed the nature of a treasure.

In the next second, his flesh turned vague as though "adhering" together; his whole body seemed to become a mass of humanoid meat, endlessly drawing back. In the process his entire being was being petrified, yet at the same time incessantly growing new flesh—this caused the processes of petrification and flesh growth to proceed simultaneously, and the speed of growth even surpassed Pandora’s speed of petrification.

Elizabeth was slightly stunned, watching the "flesh" petrified in front of Fisher turn into a string of "stone statues" fused together, while Fisher himself was never overtaken by the advance of petrification.

Seeing Fisher about to get away again, anxiety flared in her heart; she moved to follow, not allowing Fisher to escape from the range of petrification.

So she quickly tore away the Pandora’s Illusion beside her and strode forward, but in the very next second, a tiny lump of flesh suddenly drilled out from the corpse lying at her side. That flesh constantly grew and took shape in midair, finally becoming Fisher himself, clutching the Fluid Sword.

Elizabeth froze for a moment; turning her head, she saw that the mass of flesh being chased by petrification had already completely become stone, bearing not the slightest likeness to Fisher himself, while Emhardt had long since sprinted far off to chase Alicia...

As a Human, even though she had powers beside her like Pandora and Chaos that surpassed the norm, she ultimately had far too little actual combat experience above the Mythical Rank. It was only when Fisher drilled out of a corpse that she barely realized that his previous retreat had been fake.

Yet she herself never perceived Fisher’s true scheme—something that had never exchanged a single word with Fisher, that book-shaped relic, knew?

He was actually thinking of circling back, to take care of the Prosthetic Eye on her body linked to the Death Trinity?

No...

If I lose the Prosthetic Eye...

Everything of mine, everything of mine will...

No no no no no...

"Pandora!!"

The hollowness in Elizabeth’s eyes contracted violently; as Fisher gritted his teeth and thrust toward Elizabeth’s Prosthetic Eye, under the call of her fierce belief, the Pandora’s Illusion behind her let out another piercing cry. It flung its arms wide, in an instant arriving behind Elizabeth, hugging Elizabeth tightly into its embrace with one arm while with the other it cleaved toward Fisher with an unimaginably fearsome strike.

"Rumble!!"

The surging heat wave that burst forth carried the crushing might of a Nineteenth Rank value. At the instant the Fluid Sword met Gedelin’s Sword, the most terrifying impact exploded in all directions.

The entire beach caved in at once, the raging sea was blasted up by that power, forming water pillars as tall as mountain ridges. The palace ahead began to topple under the violent shockwave, flinging all the guards who had come worrying over Elizabeth high into the air.

The whole beach was destroyed in this clash of forces, turning Gedelin’s Royal private beach, passed down for several hundred years, into a crater carved out by a Mythical Rank battle.

As the smoke and dust around them slowly dispersed, the Human guards and maids lying on the ground finally, inevitably, climbed to their feet. But at this moment, because the sand had been blasted into the sky and was now falling down, the entire scene was shrouded as if in thick fog, making it impossible to clearly see the situation around them.
