Fisher learns from Renie that the Doomsday Prophecy has put him in a difficult position. To prevent Chaos from manifesting its power, he must eliminate beings connected to life chaos, which may include his ally Alicia and potentially Valentina. Renie suggests they find a solution together and playfully invites Fisher to sneak out for dessert.

"Hey, I say, forget about Elizabeth..."

"Now, sneak out with me for some dessert."

Faced with Renie’s inviting smile so close by, and feeling the faint fragrance and coolness from her fingertips drawing his warmth, Fisher blinked and couldn’t help but chuckle,

"Didn’t you just say I was a canary? Don’t forget, I’m trapped inside the Golden Palace right now..."

But before he could finish, Renie’s actions of cupping his cheeks suddenly intensified, pressing his cheeks inward, forcing him to make a cute yet comical pout. Before it could fully form, Fisher’s hand stopped her mischief,

"So, let me help this canary escape the cage temporarily, to let you taste freedom. As for the owner of this Golden Palace, she shouldn’t mind, right?"

Renie winked playfully with her right eye, her mature yet pretend-cute manner never failed to captivate Fisher, always giving a unique charm.

He considered it for a moment; anyway, Elizabeth probably wouldn’t be back until evening. Going out once with the rarely returned Renie shouldn’t matter... although it seemed he had promised Elizabeth before she left not to leave the Golden Palace alone.

Correction, this doesn’t count as leaving alone, he’s leaving with Renie, just so you know.

Thus, Fisher reached out to mimic her gesture with a "squish," pinching her fair cheeks and gently pressing inward, making her pout adorably and reluctantly.

Her tender red lips slightly puckered, the subtle sheen made them look like they were coated with a layer of sugary frost, making Fisher subconsciously swallow, his mouth watering.

He blinked, instinctively wanting to lower his head to claim Renie’s lips, but in the next moment, Renie, whom he was pinching, suddenly became ethereal, appearing on the windowsill not far away, leaning and waving at him, softly saying,

"Over here, Mr. Canary."

"..."

Fisher raised an eyebrow, originally wanting to say something, but in his peripheral vision, he saw sunlight streaming outside the window, bathing her shoulders and dark hair, making the little pink ears hidden in her hair with pointed tips visible.

Was she embarrassed?

After spending the morning with Elizabeth and seeing her hidden "battle weapons" under the bed, Fisher had momentarily forgotten that Renie was still a young witch.

He smiled slightly, the unsatisfied craving for the delicacy lessened a bit. He then thought of a question and turned to Alicia, still sitting clueless on the couch, asking Renie,

"Can we bring the two of them along when we leave? I’m afraid if Elizabeth returns and finds me missing, she might vent her anger on them. If we return together, at least I can take responsibility."

"Sure we can, but if you bring the two little light bulbs along... you’ll have to compensate me."

"What little light bulb! I’m the great book... Emhardt."

Renie smiled as she looked at Emhardt by Fisher’s side, causing his once proud voice to gradually lower until he silently and sheepishly flew over to Alicia’s side, becoming part of the "light bulb duo."

Meanwhile, Alicia was still bewildered by Renie’s earlier statement about "eliminating anything related to life chaos."

Perhaps for a little girl barely over five, struggling between having to die or live on seemed cruel.

Emhardt sheepishly running back was a kind of solace, allowing her to quickly hug his square body and obediently listen to Renie’s arrangements.

"Then let’s set off... it seems Saint Nali has changed a lot in her hands, it’s been so long since I came back that I almost didn’t recognize it. I wonder if the dessert shop I love and the theater we used to go to have closed."

Renie nodded slightly, then gestured a bit, and numerous larks flew in from outside the window, enveloping the Cardinal supervising above the Golden Palace, blocking the line of sight below.

And soon, amidst the fluttering of the larks, Elizabeth’s living quarters became exceptionally quiet, with no trace of the few people who stood there just a second ago.

It was midday, with Saint Nali’s golden sunshine, and Queen Elizabeth was still diligently working, everyone having a promising future.

...

...

"Doesn’t the sunlight and air outside feel wonderful once you leave the Golden Palace?"

It was also the break time for the Nali workers at noon, generally, when Fisher was still here, noon was the time to go out for lunch and then lie on the rocking chair for afternoon tea.

Even after five years, with drastic changes in Nali, this habit remained unchanged, making Nali’s afternoon bustling yet leisurely.

Amidst the hustle and bustle, the witch with a faint fragrance led Alicia behind her—though she called Emhardt and Alicia two little light bulbs, once really outside, Renie took good care of them, even asking if there was anything they wanted to do.
