Valentina confronts Fisher about his past injuries and his secrecy. Fisher apologizes, and they agree to communicate better. As their teacher's funeral begins, they find a discreet vantage point on the second floor to observe the proceedings, where Fisher notices the reserved seat bearing his name next to Elizabeth.

After a moment of silence, everyone below bowed their heads, clasped their hands together, and began to pray.

Fisher also lowered his gaze and clasped his hands in prayer, while Valentina, being unfamiliar with the Mother Goddess, performed the gesture somewhat awkwardly.

At this moment, she was still communicating with Master Tao in her mind,

"Master Tao, why don’t you want me to tell Fisher about your existence?"

"I’m wondering why you’d want to? Don’t you think it’s odd that only you can see him? I thought you might have encountered a ghost. Regardless of the possibilities, there’s no need to reveal my existence to him. If he’s fake, revealing me exposes your trump card; if he’s real, then his every move will be scrutinized under chaos. Something an old monster who’s lived for millennia knows could endanger your life if they don’t want Fisher to know. Understand?"

"Well, but right now Fisher does seem a bit strange... it’s not his behavior, but it’s like his body has reverted to an ordinary human, and his presence seems diminished."

"Isn’t that a good thing? If only you can see him, you don’t need to worry about that trivial Human Empress competing with you for his attention. Also, despite previously being so concerned about that Human Empress, assuming she might have some magical powers, now it seems to me she’s just an ordinary human."

Through Valentina’s gaze, Master Tao also observed Elizabeth, who was sitting in the front row praying, and commented thus.

"Really..."

Hearing Master Tao’s words, Valentina couldn’t help but feel reassured, a growing confidence swelling in her heart.

The ceremony below was elaborate, the mourning words plentiful, but eventually it would all conclude with the burial. The final part of the ceremony was escorting Helson’s casket from the church, moving from the inner hall to the crowded outer area, and finally burying it in the predetermined grave to complete the rite.

"Now, please follow our footsteps and accompany this great figure on this final journey."

At the ceremony’s end, under the guidance of the priest, the front row stood up first, watching as strong men lifted Helson’s crystal casket, while Elizabeth took Alicia’s hand, leading her behind the casket, guiding the rest to form a long, orderly procession out of the church to bury Helson’s remains.

Watching Elizabeth leave, followed by everyone else as they exited one by one, Fisher took a deep breath. After silently whispering "teacher" in his heart, he returned from his hiding spot in the wall, looking at Valentina, who was offering a comforting expression,

"Fisher, are you okay?"

"I’m fine, at least I’ve seen the teacher off on his final journey, and Elizabeth hasn’t shown any signs of moving during this time, although that’s no guarantee for the future. Alright, we’ll visit the teacher’s grave later, and for now, there are things that happened during your sleep these years that I want to talk to you about... Do you have anything you want to ask first?"

"...Hmm, Fisher, maybe it’s just my imagination, but you seem to have a strange aura about you now. Your body shouldn’t feel so frail, and your presence is so faint that sometimes I forget you’re there. Is this a side effect of dispelling death?"

"Ah, this..."

Fisher thought for a moment, then spoke up,

"Valentina, what I’m about to tell you, don’t let a third party know. As you can see, I’m now shrouded in an extremely covert blessing that I can’t actively close. This blessing protects me from being detected by others but also strips me of any transcendent powers. So now I’m a bona fide human, which must seem weak as the wind compared to someone of your high rank as a Phoenix."

"But why can I still see you?"

"I’m not entirely sure, but maybe it’s because you’re the one I love, so you’re immune to the blessing’s effects."

Upon hearing this, Valentina blushed slightly, seemingly embarrassed, as she pinched the hem of her skirt. This girlish demeanor piqued Master Tao’s curiosity even more about Fisher’s explanation,

"So, what exactly is the reason that leads you to see him?"

"No... I can’t tell you, Master Tao."

"...You’re really a nagging trivial."

"..."

Valentina pursed her lips, seemingly grasping something from Fisher’s explanation. Her eyes lit up slightly, and she hurriedly spoke,

"Wait, if that’s the case, then doesn’t it mean..."

"It means that Fisher won’t be noticed by others in the future, implying that very few will be aware of him. So it’s okay if he spends his life with me in the Golden Palace and becomes my husband... as long as we eliminate those few women who can see Fisher?"

But in the very next second, as Valentina spoke, from within a sealed wall in the room where they were standing, an uncontrollably excited and joyful trembling voice suddenly resonated.

Both Fisher and Valentina were slightly stunned, then incredulously looked toward the neighboring area. What should have been a sealed wall now surprisingly revealed an entire room, solely occupied by a single chair, where Elizabeth, dressed in black, sat smiling at Fisher. Even her voice grew uncontrollably excited, her face tinged with a slight flush...
