Anyway, conversations might be quite few.
In this brief moment of compensating for the past ten thousand years, the Nali-style decorations all around had unknowingly been replaced by Helair with a gentle breeze on a sea island. They were surrounded by the azure ocean, making the isolated island feel like a prison with the world shut out, yet also an ideal honeymoon spot with a lover.
With Helair by his side, he didn’t feel lonely. Instead, he found himself a bit dazed looking at the ocean from the warmth of Helair’s embrace.
Growing up in a seaside city, he suddenly couldn’t recognize the ocean, as if it was just the sea by his hometown, or perhaps a strange, exceptionally serene ocean.
He contemplated in such confusion and tenderness, waiting for time to trickle away.
Once everything was said and the warmth had saturated, Fisher barely managed to sit up from the soft bed and bedding that had somehow appeared on the island; he rubbed his temples, his head a bit dizzy.
To be honest, during the night of tenderness with Rafael and Moli, he felt almost nothing; the next day, he even felt rejuvenated.
Before coming to Helair’s palace, he also felt nothing during the warmth with Elliog, at most feeling intensely hot, sweating a little.
This gave Fisher, who already had inflated abilities, even more confidence. Yet, waking from Helair’s bed now, he surprisingly felt his legs a bit weak, almost failing to stand up.
Could it be the continuous fighting of the past days left him tired to contend?
Or was it that Helair had accumulated too long, taking too much?
Fisher wasn’t sure, he just stood up with aching back and knees, turning to look back, only to find Helair had somehow already disappeared from the bed.
He surveyed around, realizing she’d already donned a white robe, sitting before an easel painting something.
Sensing Fisher awake, she didn’t turn, only asked with a smile,
"Awake?"
"Ah..." Fisher unconsciously rubbed his head again, but looking at the isolated sea island the surroundings had unknowingly become, he couldn’t help but ask, "Is all this scenery your palace’s illusion?"
"Yes, isn’t it beautiful?"
Fisher nodded and walked closer to her, discovering she was painting the tranquil ocean beyond the isolated island before him.
However, at this moment, the color in her hand had only mixed blue, covering just a fraction of the vast ocean.
Feeling Fisher approach, she turned smilingly to him, asking,
"Ready to set out?"
"Yes."
She didn’t speak, but suddenly the illusory scene before them split open with a crack, revealing the grand gate through which Fisher had previously entered.
Fisher took a deep breath, casting one last glance at Helair, before stepping towards the ocean to the illusory gate at the island edge, feeling some reluctance and attachment; he turned back once more to bid farewell, saying,
"Take care of yourself; I will fulfill the promise I made to you."
And, already a distance away, Helair, in the island’s center beyond the ocean painting, merely smiled at him, as a goodbye.
Before him, the Gate of Paimon Palace slowly closed, and Helair, seemingly about to resume painting, suddenly had her voice gently drift over just as Fisher truly decided to leave, depart from the Demon Dynasty. She said:
"The Helair who loves you is forever here."
"..."
Hearing this, Fisher hurriedly turned around, but the Palace of Paimon had already closed, isolating the island within, leaving only the enigma greeting him,
"I am the ’I’ of myself, I am the thought of thought."
"I am the unsung song, I am the unseen eye."
"Please tell me, what am I?"
