Fisher awakens to find himself stripped and bearing a new scar. His Completion Manuals are missing, save for two. Helair explains that Rafael was sent away to advance her Mythical Rank, while others, including Fisher's friend, are outside her palace. The chaotic events seem to have ended, with Helair revealed as the source.

"Why does the aura of Death Authority linger so heavily on you?"

Helair raised an eyebrow, seemingly surprised, then replied,

"I thought you’d follow up with questions about Rafael, but since you asked... I was too focused on the plan upon your return, so I didn’t expect that Solomon would secretly collect the seals of the Ten Gates and First Pillar over these millennia while I wasn’t around..."

Helair explained Solomon’s actions and subsequent handling to Fisher, but after hearing it, Fisher remained silent, just staring at Helair in front of him, continuing to look at her.

"...Helair, are you telling the truth?"

Fisher slightly lowered his gaze, avoiding her bright blue-golden eyes, suddenly questioning this, while Helair tilted her head and responded,

"Why do you ask that?"

"It’s just a feeling. Initially, I was angry, and now it has turned into hesitation. Because of my feelings for you, my greed and guilt for making you wait made me always believe in what you said. But I increasingly fail to understand your true intentions, or what you really want... I can no longer discern if what you are telling me now is sincere or just the prelude to another secretive plan..."

Fisher gradually lifted his eyes, locking onto Helair’s appearance that was no different from his memories,

"Sometimes I truly can’t distinguish whether you are the Demon Paimon as others claim, or the Angel Helair as I see you. It’s as if in the ten thousand years we’ve been apart, you’ve been a demon I didn’t know, and only during our time together were you Helair. Or maybe, you’ve long since become that fearsome demon, and I’m just this silly guy from ten thousand years ago thinking you’re still the same?"

"Can you tell me if the one before me now is Paimon or Helair?"

Helair’s eyes flickered, and then she lowered her head to look at the book half-read in her hands.

She didn’t read its content, just slowly closed the book that was face down and softly said,

"I’ve always been your Helair..."

"Bang!"

Fisher furrowed his brows and moved closer to Helair, trying hard to control his actions, yet he couldn’t conceal his excitement, until the next moment, he couldn’t help but grab her shoulders, pulling her back fiercely.

She didn’t resist, her slightly widened blue-golden eyes resembling gemstones reflected Fisher’s face. The next second, that reflection approached her swiftly, pressing her onto the bed forcefully, her golden curls scattering like shattered roses beneath her due to the impact.

Fisher lowered his gaze, his eyes questioning fiercely, akin to a beast, the veins on his forehead gradually bulging, but he still tried to make his voice as calm as possible. How calm it ended up was for a third party to judge, he just unwillingly asked,

"Then why did you design such a plan? Why do you harm others like this? Don’t you know many will die because of it? Like the Dragon Court’s plan this time, but before that, before I returned to the past, before I knew you, were you already by my side secretly doing irreparable things?! And you kept silent about it while I remained ignorant?!"

"I know you’re a member of the Mythical Species, much higher ranked and older than me, thus more powerful in strength and wiser in experience. Does that mean you see me as an ignorant child? That you regard me as a naive infant, while you, as my guardian, want to make all decisions and arrange everything for me?! Why won’t you tell me anything, why are you doing all this?!"

All these questions, all these issues Fisher wanted answers to spilled out, but perhaps they weren’t just questions, but rather Fisher’s fluctuating emotions.

His fingers dug tightly into Helair’s shoulders, as if wanting to embed into her body, hoping she would give him an answer.

"I’m doing it to save you. Rafael is the key to unleashing doom, she should have died in Philone City five years ago. Even if you saved her, without me, the blessing within her would eventually ignite and trigger destruction. Only by her death can you escape this whirlpool, and the trumpet of doom would be delayed..."

"Are you making excuses, using unoccurred possibilities as the basis of your actions? If you hadn’t interfered, if you hadn’t released demons to threaten her and her Dragon Court, how could the Dragon God’s blessing inside her ignite?!"

"Are you certain, my dear?"

Helair only smiled at Fisher in front of her, or rather, at his chest.

Incredulously, Fisher lowered his head to look at the vortex-shaped scar on his chest, seeing through his own flesh into the chaos within, and finally comprehending some of the barriers.
