Barbatos and Agares arrive at Sidi Fortress to find it strangely quiet and the soul of Sidi gone. They deduce Elliog has awakened and possibly summoned Sidi. Their immediate concern shifts to Fisher Benavides's presence, whom they locate at the Performance Gate. Fisher awaits them, and Agares questions him about the seals he bears from Paimon and Elliog, to which Fisher cryptically replies, "Almost."

"I don’t know whether the Dragon Queen would be infuriated if she knew about these matters, but seeing how you ignored her while she’s still surrounded, just to come here to find Elliog, shows you’re not much concerned about her... I also don’t know how you got entangled with Elliog in Saint Nali, and how you got involved with that fellow Paimon."

"...Elliog and I are also puzzled at how you both were so easily deceived by Paimon. The base she used could not possibly save you from Mother Goddess’s sealing. The freedom and promises she offered you were nothing but falsehoods. It’s remarkable that you managed to lurk so long in the weak human world."

"Is that so..."

Even after Fisher said all this, Agares and Barbatos showed no expression on their faces, as if they were completely unmoved.

To which Barbatos merely shook his head and said directly,

"You’re stalling for time, or rather, do you think that the bit of magic you’ve discreetly engraved here can defeat us?"

"..."

Fisher remained silent, but behind him, in the immense tunnel linking the Love and Desire Gate with the Seeking Knowledge Gate, thick shadows continuously rotated on the walls, engraving kaleidoscope-like magic runes within.

And all those shadows connected to Fisher, who was standing before the tunnel, clearly formed by the black mud extending from within him into multiple strands of mythical magic.

Agares looked on in wonder at those black mud extensions behind him, and then smiled and said to Fisher,

"You’re so clever and know Paimon so well that you should realize our target is your red Dragon-man species. The reason we’ve waited so long without breaching the Dragon’s Gate to capture and kill her is because we’re waiting for an opportunity..."

Yes, Fisher always knew Rafael was the key to the prophecy of the end of the world, and they were just waiting for the prophecy’s time to come.

It’s just that they probably didn’t know the doomsday prophecy, so what moment did Helair tell them?

At this thought, Fisher suddenly had an ominous premonition, because the next moment, Agares spoke softly,

"The time we’ve been waiting for is now, waiting for the chaos inside you to grow strong enough to seize the blessing of Fermat Baha borne by that Dragon-man species..."

"!"

Fisher’s pupils slightly narrowed, but his body had already sensed an unprecedented crisis. He instinctively retreated a great distance, until he was panting and stepping back into the tunnel, only to find the ground beside Agares had begun to twist, growing flesh and tentacles as if it were alive.

"Come on, let us take you back, I’ll let you reunite with your Dragon-man girlfriend, and then our business here will be over. I’ve had enough of those human scum, it’s time to end it all."

Agares’s tongue extended from her lips, licking her lip corner as if some force within her also rejected the chaos inside Fisher, thereby generating opposition.

That was the power of life chaos.

"Be cautious, don’t forget the fate of Fermat Baha, put in your full effort, lest prolonging the night leads to endless dreams..."

"...I understand."

Barbatos spoke softly, reminding Agares to be mindful of past mistakes.

They certainly remembered the scene of Fermat Baha returning to the Dragon Court wounded after being beaten by the Destructive God from the ocean during the mythical war, facing the Soul Disaster.

Although his failure was directly due to the overwhelming chaos and his own wounded, poor condition, they all knew that if the Dragon God had been more careful, had not underestimated the calamity caused by a transferee from the beginning, he would’ve had a substantial chance of surviving.

The widely known demise of the World Tree due to chaos was simply because Fermat Baha arrogantly believed his stealing of the World Tree’s roots caused her to be no match for the chaos; his arrogance placed his strength above all, thereby neglecting the essence of that strength.

Even upon hearing later that Master Tao, by borrowing that strength, could contend with the Heavenly Lock, he didn’t pay heed, as he had heard Master Tao had already been slain with peculiar power by the Destructive God before he went to the Tree Continent.

Repeated negligence finally cost Fermat Baha dearly, resulting not only in his disappearance from the river of history, but in all that his descendants created turning into nothingness.

Facing the burgeoning chaos on Fisher, both Agares and Barbatos simultaneously took on combat stances, their uncompromising attitude putting immense pressure on Fisher, like being chased by the Death of He Ya once again.

Sweat beaded on his forehead, yet he calmly retreated swiftly into the cave, all the while calling out to Cupid in his heart, summoning the black mud back into himself as he activated the mythical magic he had engraved.

"Buzz, buzz, buzz!"

"Self-created mythical magic, Dream and Soul Double Ring Head Killing Magic No. 1"

In the cave, with Fisher retreating, two dreamlike ring heads exploded with a bang, swallowing everything outside like a black hole.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!"

Fisher had retreated to the Performance Gate’s region, looking up, he saw that the vast tunnel leading from the Love and Desire Gate to this place was entirely engulfed by a multicolored soul cloud, continuously generating a terrifying suction.
